일방향응고 초내열합금에서 MC 탄화물 형상에 관한 연구

The morphologies of MC carbides (M stands for metal) and creep-rupture properties in directionally solidified Rene 80 having standard and Hf-modified chemistries were studied. It was found that Hf depressed the melting point, $\gamma$- $\gamma$’ eutectic temperature and $\gamma$’ solvus of nickel-base superalloy Rene 80, but did not depress MC carbide forming temperature. The morphologies of MC carbides depended upon solidification sequence, which led to blocky type in the early stage and script type in the late stage of solidification. Creep failure occurs through the crack initiation at the transverse components of longitudinal grain boundaries or interdendritic carbides in directionally solidified superalloys. It could be concluded MC carbide morphologies played an important role in creep properties of DS superalloys, that is, Hf additions increased the creep ductilities and lives of Rene 80.

A new titanium alloy system. Ti-xFe-ySi (x,y=0-4 wt%). was designed and characterized with the point at low cost and high strength for casting applications. Fe improved room and elevated temperature mechanical properties owing to solid solution hardening and beta phase stabilization. Si yielded titanium silicides and Si addition over 1 wt% resulted in poor ductility due to coarse silicide chains at prior beta boundaries. The optimum composition was found to be Ti-4Fe-(0.5-1)Si in the viewpoint of tensile strength and ductility which are comparable to the Ti-6Al-4V. The metal-mould reaction was also examined for Ti-xFe and Ti-xSi binary alloy system. The thickness of surface reaction layer w as not affected significantly with Fe content, while it was decreased with Si content. In the Ti-4Si alloy, no reaction layer was found. The depth of surface hardening layer was about $200\mum$ regardless of the mould materials.
Characterization of HA/PCL composite scaffolds fabricated by layer manufacturing technology

Layer manufacturing technology has been recently spotlighted as a promising candidate to fabricate porous scaffolds for tissue engineering, because it can provide three dimensional interconnectivity and different pore structures and on-demand scaffold design. This study aims to fabricate HA/PCL composite scaffolds for bone tissue engineering by a layer manufacturing technology, paste extruding deposition, and to characterize in vitro and in vivo biocompatibilities of the scaffolds. This study discusses the mechnical properties, proliferation and differentiation of osteogenic cells, and tissue in-growth and bone regeneration behavior using animal models.

최근 장애인의 이동권 보장에 대한 요구에 따라 전동보장구의 사용이 급증하고 있고, 이동권 확대 및 보조기기 사용편리를 위한 전동보장구의 충전 시설이 늘어나고 있다. 하지만 현재 국내에는 이들 충전 시설에 대한 기준이 없어 효율적인 설치 및 운영이 되지 않고 있다. 본 연구에서는 효율적인 전동보장구 충전소 설치 및 운영을 위해 이에 대한 국내외 규정 및 실태에 대한 조사연구를 실시하고, 장애인 당사자들을 대상으로 한 설문조사를 실시하여 실제 충전소 사용에 대한 문제점을 파악하고 사용자의 요구사항을 조사하였다. 이를 토대로 합리적이고 효율적인 국내 충전소 설치 및 운영방안을 마련하였다. 그 결과 현재의 충전소에 보급된 충전기로는 효과적인 충전 서비스를 제공하지 못하는 기기적인 문제점을 파악하여 이의 개선안을 제시하였고 국가, 지방자치단체의 건물 또는 도서관, 극장, 체육시설, 백화점, 박물관 등 일정 이상의 사람들이 사용하는 공용시설에서는 충전소 설치를 의무화하도록 제시하였다. 한편 충전소를 설치할 경우 독립된 공간을 확보하도록 하여 충전소를 이용하는 사람의 사생활을 보호하도록 하고 충전소 내 여러 가지 편의장비를 갖추도록 권고하여 이용자의 편리를 높이도록 하였다. Recently, according to demands for a mobility right of people with disabilities, the use of powered mobility device has been rapidly increased and recharging facilities have been set up in many places of country. But the standards for the installation and management of the facilities are not clear and many problems are brought up in operating the facilities. Therefore, regulations and realities of recharging facilities were investigated and the user survey was progressed. On the basis of the research results, a rational and efficient installation and management plan was drawn up. The plan suggests that the recharging facilities should be installed in a building managed by government and many kinds of public building like library, theater, sports facilities, department store, museum, etc. Further, the recharging facilities should secure independent place which have specified area for protecting of privacy and provide some amenities for people with disabilities to enhance the conveniences.

Alloy design and in-vitro assessment of biocompatibilities of novel titanium alloys with low elastic modulus were studied. A contour map of elastic modulus which enables to predict low modulus alloy composition was established by using electron theory. Ti-30Ta-10Nb-10Zr, Ti-40Ta-10Nb-10Zr and Ti-40Ta10Nb-4Sn alloys were designed by using the contour map of elastic modulus, and Young`s moduli of those alloys were as low as around 60 GPa. Anodic polarization curves for the alloys represented that corrosion resistance of Ti-40Ta-10Nb-10Zr and Ti-40Ta-10Nb-10Zr was comparable to those of biomedically approved CP Ti and Ti-6Al-4V in simulated body fluid(Hank`s solution) at 37℃, while corrosion resistance of Ti-40Ta-10Nb-4Sn was inferior to those of CP Ti and Ti-6Al-4V. MTT assay with osteoblast-like cells(MG63) showed that the extent of initial cell attachment was similar in all alloys, while cell proliferation of Ti-40Ta-l0Nb10Zr and Ti-40Ta-10Nb-4Sn alloys was more sluggish than those in CP Ti and Ti-6Al-4V. It was therefore realized that the selection of alloying elements for designing low modulus alloys should be considered in the viewpoint of cell growth as well as cytotoxicity.
국내 손해 보험사의 e-Business 기업 혁신 사례 연구

As insurers have undergone changing customer expectations, increased cross-industry competition and restructured distribution channels, they need to enhance customer relationships, cut costs, increase agility and streamline operations while differentiating the core competency. As such, the importance of e-business transformation has increased where organizational core processes are restructured around customers and interned-based technology is adopted for flexible and adaptive information systems. This paper presents a case study of process innovation for e-business transformation in a Korea-based leading property & casualty insurance company. The company initiated three years-long e-business transformation program to remain competitive and to keep sustainable growth under risky and down economy. The program, which covered enterprise-wide business processes such as product, marketing & sales, customer, claim, investment & loan, accountings, etc., included redesigning processes from customers’ viewpoint and then implementing process-aligned information systems. Leadership, sponsorship, change management, performance measurement, business and IT alignment, empowerment, and customized methodology, were emphasized throughout the program. As a result, the company could expect not only improvements in customer-centricity, sales productivity, and operational excellence but also increased revenues and profits in the next three years. The presented case addresses a feasible approach for enterprise-wide e-business transformation. Although the strategies, actions, and business and IT models are not described in detail due to confidentiality, the methodology and the success factors would be applicable to other insurers and possibly organizations in different industries.
