        차기 보병전투장갑차 포신 처짐량 예측 및 명중률 분석

        A gun barrel of infantry fighting vehicle is supported like a type of cantilever. Temperature of a gun barrel is increased by heat transfer due to the combustion of propellant charge during the firing. Thus, the muzzle of a gun barrel is deflected in accordance with its temperature and the accuracy rate is decreased by deflection of the muzzle. In this study, deflection of a gun barrel is estimated by measuring its restoration rate because measuring the deflection rate is difficult due to the vibration of the gun barrel during the firing. In order to obtain the relations between deflection rate and restoration rate of the 40mm gun barrel of Next Infantry Fighting Vehicle(NIFV) under varying temperature, measurement of deflection rate and restoration rate is carried out using 5.56mm Remington rifle barrel. Effect of the estimated deflection rate of a gun barrel of NIFV on the hit probability is also analyzed.

        이주여성의 출산력 수준

        이 논문은 국내 이주여성의 출산력 수준을 파악하고 그들의 이주 및 출산행위를 인구학적 관점에서 이해하기 위한 것이다. 이를 위해 2010년 인구주택총조사 1% 표본자료에 동거자녀추정법(own-children method)을 적용하여 해외출생여성과 국내출생여성의 완결출산력 및 합계출산율을 추정하고, 이주여성의 입국 전후 초혼 및 출산시기를 분석한다. 분석결과 해외출생여성은 국내출생여성에 비해 상대적으로 낮은 완결출산력을 보이지만, 반대로 매우 높은 합계출산율을 갖는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 이 같은 모순적 상황은 이주과정의 선별성과 이주 후 차별적인 출산행위에 의한 것으로 나타났다. 이주여성 중 다수를 차지하는 결혼이주여성의 경우 입국 후 수년 내 출산하면서 출산율 상승뿐 아니라, 템포효과를 유발하여 합계출산율을 실제보다 과대추정하게 만든다. 반면 30대 중반 이후에 입국하는 여성들은 상대적으로 입국 전 혼인경험이 있는 경우가 많음에도 불구하고, 무자녀 비중이 높고 입국 후 출산하는 비율 역시 낮아 해당 집단 전체의 완결출산력을 낮추고 있다. 이 논문의 결과는 국내 이주여성의 선별성과 그들 특유의 출산행위 및 템포효과를 조명함과 동시에, 이주여성의 출산행위가 연령이나 이주목적에 따라 차별화되고 있음을 제시하고 있다. This paper is to understand fertility levels of immigrant women in South Korea. Using own-children method with the 2010 Census 1% samples microdata, I estimate completed fertility rates (CFRs) and total fertility rates (TFRs) for both foreign-born women and native-born women. Results suggest that foreign-born women have lower CFRs than do native-born women while having much higher levels of TFR over the 1996-2010 period. This is partly attributable to the selection of immigrant women, which is also related to their fertility behaviors. Many foreign-born women, who are mostly marriage migrants in the Korean context, give birth to babies in a few years after their entry, which raises birth rates and also significantly inflates TFRs through tempo effect. The lower CFRs of foreign-born women at age 45―49 can be explained by prevalent childlessness among those whose entry was in their mid-thirties or older. Findings of this paper imply that fertility behaviors of immigrant women are differentiated by their age at entry and the purpose of immigration. This paper also shed light on the significance of selection and tempo effect in interpreting immigrant fertility.

        장간조립교 주요 부재의 강도 분석 연구

        In this paper, the results of experimental analysis for the chemical composition and strengh verification of Bailey Panel Bridge have been presented. Some of main sections of bailey bridge colllected from military engineer troops were prepared for the chemical composition and strengh verification. The composition test and strength verification were conducted by using the optical microscope and Scanning Electron Microscope(SEM), Automatic Control Spark Emission Spectrometer(OBLF), X-ray Fluorescence Spectroscopy(XRF) and Instron measurement. The results showed that currently used sections of bailey bridge passed the strength verification and could be operated in drill of troops and battle fields.

      • Post collapse behaviour of the rotating pipe after it impacts on the target

        This paper presents the results of a detailed investigation carried out into the dynamic plastic collapse behaviour of circular rotating pipe after it impacts onto the target. To predict the plastic energy dissipation during the deformation of circular section pipes, a modified plastic collapse analysis adapting upper bound technique based on an existing deformation mechanism model was considered. This studies show clearly that the post collapse behaviour in a rotating pipe after impact with another pipe does not only depend on relative local strength of these pipes but is due to a complex interaction of various parameters, e.g. impact velocity, span to diameter ratio of the target pipe and the supporting conditions of the target pipe and also of the impact position.

        유한요소해석을 통한 장간조립교 주요 부재의 안정성 분석 연구

        In this paper, the results of computational analysis for the stability and F.S.(Factor of Safety) of Bailey Panel Bridge have been presented by FEM(Finite Element Method). The computational analysis was conducted by using LUSAS V14.0 that is a program applicated in the field of Civil Engineering. 6-free beam elements and 3-free truss elements were considered and F.S. against Yield Stress of main sections(considered self-weight and Live-Load) was investigated through the linear-elastic analysis method. The results showed that currently used sections of bailey bridge satisfied for the standard F.S. unit and could be operated in drill of troops and battle fields.

        온도 측정과 분석을 통한 40 mm 장축공동실린더의 열적특성 고찰

        A simple and effective analysis method is presented for gaining a complete transient temperatures on the internal and external surfaces of a 40 mm gun tube subjected to a series of rapid firings. Two series of temperature data for both Hs and As were measured by using two rapid response k-type surface thermocouples near the firing origin and the muzzle. With other available temperature data, patterns of temperature variations of the gun tube as a function of time variable were driven through complete evaluations of the data. It is found that overall temperature gradients which increase exponentially toward saturation temperature, actually consist of a series of linear temperature gradients corresponding to the firing sequences. Under the similar firing sequences, patterns of temperature variations for both the surface temperatures near the chamber and those near the muzzle were found to have linear temperature gradients with different values and the same response frequencies, i.e. they had peaks and lows in emperatures at the same time. The resultant complete temperature data can be used as the fundamental bases for analysis of thermoelastic properties of the materials such as thermal strian and stress, and for the prediction of cannon tube life-time through calculation of wear rate.
