본 연구는 오영진의 희곡 「맹진사댁 경사」를 원작으로 하는 임준희의 희극 오페라 《천생연분》(2006)을 고찰한 것이다. 「맹진사댁 경사」는 전통적인 신분사회와 결혼풍습에 대한 풍자로서, 한국희극정신의 구현으로 평가받는 작품이다. 하지만 작품에 내재된 가부장적인의식이 페미니즘적 비평의 대상으로 지적되기도 한다. 임준희의 《천생연분》은 이러한 원작의 모순을 해체하고 신분타파와 여성해방 모두를 해학적으로 표현하는 이상우가 쓴 새로운 대본에 의한 것이다. 작곡가 임준희는 대본의 각색방향에 맞춰, 낙관적이고 긍정적인 해학정신과 사랑의 힘을 통한 인간해방이라는 보편적인 공감대를 음악을 통해 완성한다. 전통혼례 때 자주 사용되는 <타령>의 선율이 전 곡에 통일적으로 사용되어 긍정적인 분위기를 창출하며, 라이트모티브 기법, 한국 전통악기들과 서양 오케스트라의 효과적인 결합, 불규칙적인 리듬, 판소리적 요소의 사용, 그리고 한국음악적 요소와 서양 현대음악적 요소의 혼용 등이 극적의미를 표현하고 있다. This study investigated the literary and musical characteristics of the Comic Opera, 《Soul Mate》(2006), by Lim June-Hee adapted from the Original Korean Drama, Festivity of the Maeng Family, by Oh Young-Jin. 「Festivity of the Maeng Family」 is a highly valued Korean literary work that realized Koreans’ satirical spirit by dramatizing the country’s traditional classicism and marriage custom into a comedy. However, the satire has received much criticism from a feministic perspective for its still inherent patriarchal prevalence. Lim June-Hee’s Comic Opera purports to address such an irony embedded in the original work and thereby express anti-classicism and liberation of women in humorism. Lim utilized Taryeong mode used in Korean traditional weddings consistently throughout the work to elicit festive and humorous mood effect. Musically, the dramatic meanings of 《Soul Mate》 are realized through various elements, such as use of Leitmotiv technique, irregular rhythm, and the essential musical characteristics of Pansori. Furthermore, its musical uniqueness culminates in the effective combination of Korean traditional instruments and western orchestra and integration of various Korean and modern western musical components.

찌개 HMR (Home Meal Replacement)에 대한 L.A. 지역 미국 소비자들의 태도, 인식 조사 및 기호도 조사

This study was performed to examine attitude, perception, and sensory evaluation of Jjigae HMR (Home Meal Replacement) for Americans in the L.A. area. Attitude and perception of Jjigae were conducted by 128 consumers. The questions were as follows: 1) frequencies and attitude toward soup and stew, 2) experience and frequency of Korean food intake, 3) awareness of Korean Jjigae. A total of 69.5% of American had previous experience with Korean foods. However, the frequencies of Korean food intake were once every few months (27.4%) or once a year (18.9%). The 20.2% of consumers selected Kimchi-jjigae as the best-known Korean Jjigae, and 17.1% of consumers had previous experience with Kimchi-jjigae. However, the 23.7% of consumers did not have experienced with Jjigae. Sensory evaluation was conducted using Sundubu-jjigae and Kimchi jjigae. Overall liking and flavor liking were conducted by Americans using a nine-point scale (1: Dislike extremely - 9: Like extremely). The degree of intensity for sensory attribute was also rated using a nine-point Just-About-Right(JAR) scale (1: not nearly spicy/sour enough, 5: Just-About-Right, 9: too spicy/sour). Purchasing intention was rated using a five-point scale (1: Definitely would not purchase, 5: Definitely would purchase). Overall liking and flavor liking of two jjigae (Sundubu-jjigae & Kimchi-jjigae) had a value higher than five on the nine-point scale. The level of spiciness of Sundubu-jjigae was suitable for consumers whereas spiciness of Kimchi-jjigae was significantly different from the JAR value of five points on the nine-point JAR scale, showing that Kimchi-jjigae was significantly spicier than JAR point. Purchasing intention had a value higher than three on the five-point scale.

교양소설의 두 유형에 나타난 교양주체의 의미

This paper presents an attempt to “re-read” The Square by Choi In-hun and Portrait of the Days of Youth by Lee Mun-yeol from the perspective of bildungsromans. The plots and embodiments of subject of culture in both the novels are similar to those of German"Bildungsroman"and also exhibit enough Korean features. Culture builds characters as intellectuals and cultured individuals and thus becomes a criterion to show the cultural refinement of the upper class of the time. It also contains the policy and ruling ideology of the time. Subjects of culture ultimately seek after harmony with the world through an ego exploration process, but the results are sometimes unsuccessful. The processes and results can lead to the disillusive and romantic types of bildungsromans. While The Square by Choi In-hun is one of the representative works in the disillusive type of bildungsromans, Portrait of the Days of Youth by Lee Mun-yeol is one of the representative works in the romantic type of bildungsromans. In disillusive bildungsromans, the subjects of culture fail to narrow down the gap between the world and themselves and eventually face frustration. In romantic bildungsromans, the main characters secure their own worlds. In The Square, Lee Myeong-jun, who is capable of criticizing the contradictions of political and social reality, is one of the utmost intellectuals and cultured men of the time, but he has a feeling of disappointment due to the gap between his own ideal and the reality and chooses to take his own life. In Portrait of the Days of Youth, Lee Yeong-hun, on the other hand, strengthens his own artistic world through ego exploration and achieves harmony with the world. Here one cannot disregard the gender differences in culture building between male and female subjects of culture. While male subjects of culture build their culture through"books"both in disillusive and romantic bildungsromans, their female counterparts build their culture by the influence of male subjects rather than on their own. In The Square, the female subject is perceived as the object of abasement by the male subject rather than being embodied as a perfect cultured person. The bildungsroman by Lee Mun-yeol, however, shows different aspects from the bildungsroman by Choi In-hun, embodying female subjects of culture in two types. They either receive instructions for culture building from the male subject or become subjects of culture through their own abilities. The former become the objects of criticism to male subjects like in The Square, the latter are set as helpers that exert influences on the ego exploration process of male subjects. Those changes to female subjects are the results of accepting the changes to the consciousness of culture.

Purpose:The purpose of this study was to identify the patient's characteristics influencing patient's comprehensibleness of doctor's explanation. Methods: This study was conducted as a secondary data analysis using the raw data of The 6th Korea National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (KNHANES VI) conducted in 2015. The survey sampled 22,948 adults, and 4,469 of them were included in this analysis. Multiple regression analysis was performed to determine the patient's characteristics influencing patient's comprehensibleness of doctor's explanation. Results: The patient's comprehensibleness of doctor's explanation were more higher as age (t=5.65, p<.001), female (t=4.40, p<.001), subjective good health status (t=3.48, p=.001) were higher. On the other hand, the patient's comprehensibleness of doctor's explanation were more higher education level (t=-6.80, p<.001), not-recent outpatient experience (t=-6.04, p<.001), pain/discomfort (t=-2.64, p=.008), anxiety/depression (t=-2.58, p=.010) were lower. Conclusion:It is necessary to be provided the patients who are higher education level, pain/discomfort and anxiety/depression with applying the doctor's detailed explanation and intervention programs.

Klippel-Trenaunay 증후군과 Sturge-Weber 증후군이 동반된 1례

저자들은 26개월된 여아에서 양측 안면과 우측 상, 하지에 화염상모반증, 골조직 및 연부조직의 이상 비대 소견을 보이면서 우안의 녹내장 및 맥락막 혈관종, 연수막 혈관종, 전신성 경련, 발달지연을 동반한 Klippel-Trenaunay 증후군과 Sturge-Weber 증후군의 특성이 동시에 관찰된 드문 1례를 경험하였기에 문헌 고찰과 함께 보고하는 바이다. Klippel-Trenaunay syndrome is a rare mesodermal phakomatosis characterized by cutaneous haemangiomata( usually unilateral and involving an extremity), venous varicosities and osseous and soft tissue hypertrophy, of the affected limb. Sturge-Weber syndrome, also a mesodermal pharkomatosis, is characterized by a port-wine nevus, which is present from birth and covers the face and cranium in the territory of the first division of the trigeminal nerve. Homolateral to the skin lesion, there is atrophy and calcification of the cerebral hemisphere. We experienced an unusual 26-months-old female, who had features of both Klippel-Trenaunay syndrome and Sturge-Weber syndrome. She had an extensive nevus flammeus which extended primarily over both sides of her face and the right side of the trunk and extremities, hypertrophy of the right extremity without evidence of arterovenous fistula, right glaucoma, choroidal hemangioma and leptomeningeal hemangioma, which combined Klippel-Trenaunay syndrome and Sturge-Weber syndrome. We reported this rare case with a brief review of some related literatures.

《리진》에 나타난 동아시아 근대의 다문화적 체험

A novel by Shin Gyeong-suk, Lee Jin restored the life of"Lee Jin,"who was a court dancer and the first Korean to live in Paris. Accidently the same figure was dealt with in Lee Shim by Kim Tak-hwan. While Kim`s work replays the path of Lee Shim from the perspective of multicultural experiences and imperialism, Shin`s work highlights the influences of the Paris Arcade phenomenon on Lee Jin and further maternity and confession, which are the strong points of her literature. Furthermore, unlike the old history novels that depicted heroic figures within the scope of authentic history, Shin focuses on restoring and mourning forgotten or hidden figures especially marginal ones in history in Lee Jin. Lee Jin consists of two volumes; Volume 1 shows the process up until Lee Jin left Joseon, and Volume 2 depicts her life in Paris. This study approached her life in Paris with her encounter of"Arcade"because it was her first response to multicultural experiences. The culture city of Europe she first arrived in, Paris was the place of newness to the Joseon court lady. It was full of advanced civilization and in full bloom of capitalism. It awakened her to the meaning of freedom, economy, and art. In the novel, confessional writing is revealed through"letters."The letter narrative is comprised of Collin`s letters and Lee Jin`s letters. While the former`s letters were related to his affairs as a diplomat, Lee Jin`s letters were personal writings of"confession."Her letters were addressed to the Queen, telling about the changes she experienced inside as an alien from Far East who was exposed to a new culture. The true addressee, however, was Lee Jin herself not the Queen; she could not mail them to the Queen because they were what she wanted to tell herself at the excuse of the Queen. In Lee Jin, maternity is embodied through Ms. Seo, who failed to bear a child and left to live alone. She accepted Lee Jin and Kang Yeon who were orphaned without even asking about their origins and devoted her entire fortune to running the orphanage. Ms. Seo`s extreme benevolence is on the extended line of maternity observed in Shin`s novels. While the Queen was Lee Jin`s spiritual mother, Ms. Seo was her real-life mother. Shin`s Lee Jin was an extension of her writing into the new area of history novel but still remained within the scope of maternity discourse and confessional writing

급성기 중풍환자의 발병시간에 따른 특성 및 위험인자 연구

Objectives : The aim of this study was to assess the distribution of general characteristics and risk factors according to onset time in acute stroke patients. Methods : We studied hospitalized patients within 4 wks after the onset of stroke who were admitted to the Department of Internal Medicine at Kyunghee University Oriental Medical Hospital, Kyunghee University East-West Neo Medical Hospital, Kyungwon University Songpa Oriental Medical Hospital, Kyungwon University Incheon Oriental Medical Hospital, and Dongguk University Ilsan Oriental Medical Hospital from April 2007 to August 2008. The 24-hour day was divided into quartiles (6:00 to 12:00, 12:00 to 18:00, 18:00 to 24:00 and 24:00 to 6:00). We analyzed the general characteristics and risk factors according to onset time in acute stroke patients. Results : 468 subjects were included into the final analysis. 1. The most common time period for ischemic stroke onset was between 6:00 and 12:00. It demonstrated a 50% excess risk between 6:00 and 12:00. 2. On the demographic variables of the patients, the rate of hypertension was significantly higher from 18: 00 to 24: 00 than 24:00 to 6:00. 3. There was no significant difference of stroke type, Sasang constitution, or lifestyle between times. 4. According to the blood test, high density lipoprotein cholesterol was significantly higher at 24:00 to 6:00 and lower at 12:00 to 18:00 than other time-groups. 5. The patients diagnosed with metabolic syndrome were significantly more at 12:00 to 18:00 and fewer at 24:00 to 6:00. 6. Hypertension and coffee drinking showed close relationship with patients whose stroke occurred while awake in multivariate analysis. Conclusions : The above results showed that the overall tendency of acute stage cerebral infarction patients varied according to their onset time. These results can be utilized in the future as a basis material.

Female subjectivity in novels written by Hwang Seok-young has maternity, post-colonialism and critical feature. Of these, maternity was given concrete expression most widely and deeply. In < Near Ipseok >, his debut work, < Pig Dream >, < The Way to Sampo >, and < A Bird of Molgaewol > he wrote in the early days, maternal imagination was showed, which became a sprout of maternality in his next works. < The Way to Sampo > and < A Bird of Molgaewol > shows dismantled family in the industrial era through maternity led by sister complex. Han Yun-hee, the character of < Old Garden > has maternity which rises above family and leans toward the outside. Maternity Han Yun-hee bestows a favor on her father is a form in family, while maternity she shows to other characters including Oh Hyeon-woo, Lee Hui-soo, Song Young-tae, Choi Mi-kyeong rises over blood relation. There exists more extended maternity in「Sim Cheong」. That’s because it represents a maternal family unit bonded with sororal love. At the same time, deification of female maternity is achieved through indicating altruistic maternity above a people. Post-colonialism of female subjectivity is showed through Oh Hye-jung, the character of「The Shade of Arms」, Yohan’s wife of「Guest」, and Sim Cheong of「Sim Cheong」. In these works, post-colonialism is realized through free female who is not under men, female who recognizes and confronts new colonial condition, their dauntless attitude toward conflict of ideology, and their recognition in the process of East Asia being eroding by imperialism. Last, critical feature of female subjectivity is represented through female practice teacher of「For Younger Brother」, Han Hey-ja of「Annals of Mr. Han」and Park Mi-ri of「A Slender Hand」. The target female subjectivity criticizes is absurdity of reality, contradiction of capitalism, and adherence of divided people. These female features enables Hwang Seok-young to get out of a prejudice that he wrote male masculine works and emphasized masculinity.

급성기 중풍 환자의 중풍발병시간에 따른 제속성 비교

Objectives : The aim of this study was to provide basic background information on stroke by evaluating various etiological factors on the basis that the onset time of cerebral infarction varies according to its cause. Methods : We studied hospitalized patients within 4 weeks after their ictus who were admitted at Kyunghee OMC, Kyungwon OMC, or Donguk Ilsan OMC from [month] $1^{st}$, 2005 to June $30^{th}$, 2007. We compared the general characteristics of acute stroke patients according to onset time. Results : Regardless of the onset time, the distribution of cerebral infarction patterns showed high SVO. The onset time did not show significant difference for average age, height, weight, BMI, waist measurement, hip measurement, or waist/hip ratio between onset during sleep and awakening. Patients whose stroke occurred while awake were more likely to have a past history of HTN, DM, ischemic heart disease, or atrial fibrillation but did not show significant difference according to their onset time. Conclusions : The above results show that the overall tendency of acute stage cerebral infarction patients varies according to their onset time. This study was carried out on the basis of previous findings that cerebral infarctions that occurred during sleep were more likely to have been caused by cerebral thrombosis, and strokes that occurred while awake were more likely to have been caused by cerebral embolism. However, there were no statistically relevant results, so a larger study group is needed to research the tendency of stroke patients.

구문요소의 전치에 기반한 문서 워터마킹

이 논문은 한국어 문장을 대상으로 구문요소의 전치를 기반으로 한 문서 워터마킹 방법을 제안한다. 한국어와 같은 교착어는 구문요소의 순서가 자유롭기 때문에 구문 트리 기반의 자연어 워터마킹을 위한 좋은 환경을 제공한다. 본 논문에서 제안하는 자연어 워터마킹 방법은 7단계로 구성되어 있다. 첫째, 문장의 구문분석을 수행한다. 다음으로, 구문요소가 해당 절의 범위 안에서만 전치되도록 범위를 한정하기 위하여 구문 트리로부터 각 절을 분할한다. 세 번째로, 전치를 위한 목표 구문요소를 선택한다. 네 번째, 목표 구문요소의 전치 후에도 문장의 의미나 문체의 변화가 최소화되도록 가장 자연스러운 전이위치를 결정한다. 그 후, 목표 구문요소에 대한 워터마크 비트를 삽입한다. 여섯 번째 단계로, 워터마크 비트가 목표 구문요소의 전치 방향과 상응하지 않으면 구문 트리에서 목표 구문요소를 전치한다. 마지막으로 변환된 구문 트리에서 워터마킹된 문서를 얻는다. 실험 결과를 통해 본 논문에서 제안한 방법의 적용률은 91.53%이고, 최종 워터마킹된 문장들 중 부자연스러운 문장의 비율은 23.16%로서 기존 시스템들보다 좋은 결과를 보여준다. 또한 워터마킹된 문장이 원시 문장과 같은 문체를 유지하고, 의미적인 왜곡없이 같은 정보를 나타내고 있다. This paper explores a method of text watermarking for agglutinative languages and develops a syntactic tree-based syntactic constituent movement scheme. Agglutinative languages provide a good ground for the syntactic tree-based natural language watermarking because syntactic constituent order is relatively free. Our proposed natural language watermarking method consists of seven procedures. First, we construct a syntactic dependency tree of unmarked text. Next, we perform clausal segmentation from the syntactic tree. Third, we choose target syntactic constituents, which will move within its clause. Fourth, we determine the movement direction of the target constituents. Then, we embed a watermark bit for each target constituent. Sixth, if the watermark bit does not coincide with the direction of the target constituent movement, we displace the target constituent in the syntactic tree. Finally, from the modified syntactic tree, we obtain a marked text. From the experimental results, we show that the coverage of our method is 91.53%, and the rate of unnatural sentences of marked text is 23.16%, which is better than that of previous systems. Experimental results also show that the marked text keeps the same style, and it has the same information without semantic distortion.
