Objectives : The purpose of this study is to investigate the effects of Polygonum multiflorum THUNB(何首烏) on decresing concentration of serum lipid which are triglyceride, total cholesterol, HDL-cholesterol, LDL-cholesterol. Thiobarbituric Acid Reactive(TBARS) in high cholesterol diet induced hyperlipidemia rats. Methods : Sprague-Dawley rats were divided into 3 groups, Normal group (supplied enough water and feeds only, Normal Group), high fat diet administered group(AIN-76 high fat diet #100496 used beef tallow for 4 weeks, Control Group) and Polygonum multiflorum THUNB(何首烏). administered group(AIN-76 high fat diet #100496 used beef tallow and Polygonum multiflorum THUNB(何首烏) extracts 85.0mg/200g 1time/day for 4 weeks, HSO Group). Rats were sacrificed and concentration of triglyceride, total cholesterol, HDL-cholesterol, LDL-cholesterol, TBARS were measured in rat's serum lipid. Results : There was no significant difference in the level of weigh between Control and HSO Group.(by Duncan test) Concentration of Total lipid has no significant difference in each group. (F=0.702, p=0.511, ANOVA test) Concentration of triglyceride has no significant difference in each group. (F=0.727, p=0.500, ANOVA test) Concentration of LDL-cholesterol was significantly different in each group.(F=.9.894. p=0.002, ANOVA test) It was significantly increased in the Control group compared with the Normal group and it significantly decreased in the HSO group compared with the Control group. Concentration of HDL-cholesterol has no significant difference in each group. (F=1.079, p=0.365, ANOVA test) TBARS values(Thiobarbituric Acid Reactive Substances) were significantly different in each group.(F=15.580, p=0.0001, ANOVA test) It was significantly increased in the Control group compared with the Normal group and significantly decreased in HSO group compared with the Control group. Conclusions : According to the above results, it is considered that Polygonum multiflorum THUNB(何首烏) is effective in decreasing concentration of serum lipid in high cholesterol diet induced hyperlipidemia rats.

스위스의 영세중립 모델 : 남북통일에 적용가능성 모색

한반도의 국내외적 정치 환경을 극복하는데 스위스의 영세중립 모델은 우리에게 여러가지 시사점을 준다. 본 논문은 남북통일을 위한 새로운 대안으로써 스위스의 영세중립 모델을 적용할 수 있는 가능성을 모색하는데 초점을 둔다. 오늘날 한반도의 정세는 마치 1세기 전과 유사한 주변강대국의 헤게모니 경쟁 장소로 전개될 조짐을 보이고 있다. 미국은 일방주의 유일 강대국으로 북한의 핵문제를 평화적 협상보다는 무력에 의한 강압적 해결방법을 고집하고 있다. 중국은 동북공정계획을 통해 고구려 역사를 자국역사에 편입시키려는 문화적 패권주의를 지향하고 있다. 보통국가를 지향하고 있는 일본은 미-일동맹을 강화하면서 이라크 파병과 독도의 영유권에 대한 망언을 의도적으로 하고 있다. 러시아는 한반도 문제에 개입하기 위해 6자 회담에 참석하면서 시베리아 철도와 송유관 매설문제를 통해 북한에 영향력을 확대하고 있다. 한반도를 중심으로 한 강대국의 대립과 패권의 경쟁에서 남북은 주변국가의 국제정치 상황을 바르게 인식하고 갈등과 대립보다는 분단을 극복하려는 의지를 보여야 할 것이다. 더 나아가 남한은 통일의 환경 조성을 위해 보수와 진보, 지역과 지역, 부유층과 서민층,구세대와 신세대간의 대립과 갈등을 완화해야 할 것이다. 스위스는 수세기 동안 독일, 프랑스, 이탈리아 등 주변 국가로부터 무수한 외침과 식민지 경험을 했다. 스위스 국민은 독일계, 프랑스계, 이탈리아계의 다민족으로 구성되어 인종, 언어, 문화가 다양하기 때문에 과거 각 주들 간의 영토확장을 위한 전쟁과 민족간의 갈등이 계속되었다. 그러나 스위스는 중립정신으로 내전을 종식하고 1536년부터 외국의 침입을 방지하기 위해 영세중립 정책을 추구함으로써 1815년 비엔나(Vienna)회의에서 주변국가로부터 영세중립국의 국제적 지위를 부여받게 되었다. 그 후 스위스는 어떠한 국제전쟁에도 개입하거나 편의를 제공하지 않고, 외국으로부터 침입도 받지 않았기 때문에 오늘날 국민소득 1위의 모범국가로 성장했다. 한반도는 남북간의 이념 갈등을 극복하고 전쟁을 방지하면서 통일 후에는 주변국의 침입도 방지할 수 있는 제도적 장치가 필요하기 때문에 스위스의 영세중립 모델은 한반도 통일에 유용한 시사점을 준다. The purpose of this paper is to explore a possibility of applying a model based on Swiss permanent neutrality to the unification of the Korean Peninsula. Switzerland was in violent civil wars between 13 cantons in an effort to expand their territories from 1436 to 1467. Furthermore, it was continuously engaged in bloody battles throughout the 16th century; for example, Switzerland was heavily defeated by French aggressions in the Marignano war of 1515 and then again, in the Senalcaldian war of 1546. In 1815, Switzerland had two aims when it be came apermanent neutral state. One was to prevent internal civil wars between cantons, and the other was to protect itself from the foreign aggressions. The Korean Peninsula experienced a number of foreign aggressions as Switzerland had experienced in the 16th century. According to a statistics of the Korean history, there were about 720 foreign skirmishes including 53 foreign aggressive wars. In fact, a number of foreign invasion wars upon the Korean Peninsula was 33times from China, 17 times from Japan, once from each of three countries: France, the United States, and England. In this context, it is preferred that the Korean Peninsula is unified as a permanent neutral state in order to deter a possible war between South and North Korea, and the foreign aggression after Korean reunification. It is expected that there is a possibility for the Korean Peninsula to realize its permanent neutral unification based on the model of Swiss permanent neutrality.

한국에서 동물간호사제도의 필요성과 자격시험에 대한 분석 및 평가

The study examined qualification test of the 1st term Animal Nurse Technician and conducted questionnaire survey as well as site investigation to settle Animal Nurse Technician system in Korea. The objects were undergraduates, graduates and director of animal hospital. 115 applicants applied to the qualification test of animal specialists, and 50 applicants passed the test to record 43.47% of ratio of successful applicants. The subjects having relative difficulty were anatomy physiology and public hygiene to record 19 points in average: In particular, the anatomy physiology recorded 35 points of the highest score and 6 points of the lowest score to have the highest deviation and to require adjustment of difficulties. 89.2% of the interviewee supported needs of animal nurse technician system in Korea to show positive response. At the survey of actual conditions of recruitment of animal nurse technicians at animal hospitals, 28.6% of the interviewee was employing the technicians, and 35.7% had employment plan, and 32.1% wanted to employ them under good conditions. In other words, 96 4% of the interviewee responded positively, while no more than 3.6% did negatively. In Korea, the animal nurse technicians had roles as follows: The animal hospitals gave priority to reception service and customer controls followed by medical examination support,whilethecollegesdidtomedicalexaminationsupport. To differentiate hospitals in accordance with the increase of number of animal hospitals, the animal hospitals should employ animal nurse technicians having specialty and qualifications on animal nurse technician examination. In particular, the roles and demand of animal nurse technicians were expected to grow because of developed technologies of veterinary medical science, development of medical supplies and instrument, and the increase of aged animals, etc. Therefore, job analysis on animal nurse technicians should be done to adjust the subjects of qualification test and to develop questions.
