The purpose of this paper is to investigate how the patterns of the perception of English stops in word boundaries are related to those of their production. As was discussed in Kim, Ji-Hyang and Kim, Kee-Ho (2014), the closure duration of the stops in the word boundaries, the duration of VOT, and vowel duration are said to be the main characteristics of the production of English stops by the English and the Korean speakers. Based on this, it will be examined in this paper how the three factors play a role in the perception of English stops in word boundaries by the English and the Korean listeners.

Most plays are written not to be read in books but to be performed. True, plays are meant to be seen on stages, but equally true, reading a play may afford advantages. So even if a play may be seen in a theater, sometimes to read it in print may be our way of knowing it as the author wrote it in its entirety. This paper is a study of Serbian drama and theater through a close reading of Ljubomir Simović's drama, Travelling theater Shopalovich (1975). This paper aims to read Travelling theater Shopalovich from a historic as well as a popular point of view like a spectator. The action takes place in the provincial town of Užice, at the beginning of World War Ⅱ. precisely in the summer of 1941. A travelling company of actors lead by Vasilije Šopalović and whose members are the young actress Sofija, the experinced actress Jelisaveta and the unpredictable Filip, arrive in the town and they want to preform Schiller's The Robbers. They find accomodations in the house of Simka, a widow who is still young. Also living in the house are Gina, a woman of the people, and her alcoholic husband Blagoje. Attempting to somehow organised their performance they come across a gendarme who finds them extremely suspicious, particularly because they tell him that in private life they use certain names, while in the performance they "play" people with quite different names. For this reason he takes them into custody, and takes them to the German headquarters of the town, where they are taken over by the Volkdeutscher Majcen. When the leader of the company shows the interrogator a written permit to hold a performance of the Robbers issued by a higher authority, he lets them go, but wonders how they can perform a play when the "shadow of gallows" falls across their stage. While the company prepares for their first evening performance, there is shooting on the town square and the quisling deputy of the town and his mistress are killed. Suspicion falls on Gina and Blagoje's young son, the political activist Sekular, who is arrested immediately. Before interrogation he will be worked over by the infamous Drobac, widely known for his brutality and bloodthirstiness. Since there has been a shooting incident, the gendarme comes to inform the actors that aa public meetings have been prohibited and their performance as well. The actors show the written permission that they have, but it cannot help them since the gendarme eats it on the spot. The infamous thug Drobac appears making bloody tracks with his enormous peasant shoes. Though brutal and ruthless. Drobac is taken with the coquettish and attractive Sofija. At one moment during a sweltering summer night they meet on the river, a stranges love scene takes place in which the torturer undergoes a kind of catharsis. Seeing this, lead by Blagoje the citizens attack the innocent actress, beat her and shave her hair off. Bloody tracks are left behind the leader of this group, Blagoje. There is soon another incident in which the crazed actor, Filip, who speaks the lines of his role and seemingly admits the morning assassination, is killed. The play's finale takes place in the morning of a new day in which the Šopalović travelling theatre sets out on a new journey. They try to explain Filip's intention. Didi he, under the mask of an actor, really kill the evildoers, or did he consciously take the responsibility in order to save the young man or was be quite an innocent victim of his stage madness - the mystery remains. The young woman comes to wish the actors a good journey and she does not hide that she is happy that her lover, Sekular, has been freed, but she forgets to tell them that the thug Drobac has hung himself by the whip he used to beat others. It focuses on analyzing its characters' statements, behaviors, backgrounds and their mutual relationships with each other.

Relapsing polychondritis is a rare autoimmune disease of unknown etiology with episodic but potentially progressive inflammatory manifestations. Auricular, articular and nasal manifestations are the most frequent disturbances. Fever is one of the manifestations of this disease but it rarely appears as an initial presentation. In this situation, the diagnosis is delayed until other manifestations are obvious. We report a case of relapsing polychondritis, which was presented as fever of unknown origin. Ten months after the onset of fever, auricular chondritis appeared and gave us the key to diagnosis.

This paper aims at investigating how Korean speakers’ speech production and perception of English voiceless stops on the word boundaries are different from the English native speakers’. The production experiment conducted in this paper reveals that Korean speakers’ production of voiceless stops on the word boundaries is affected by their mother tongue. What makes Korean speakers’ production mainly distinctive from the English speakers’ is that not only does a vowel epenthesis take place in their production, but they also demonstrate a longer duration of the VOT and the voiceless stops than the native speakers. For the perception of continuous speech containing voiceless stops across word boundaries, the native listeners turn out to employ phonetic and acoustic cues such as aspiration to segment it into words. Through the perception experiment, this paper has figured out whether the Korean listeners have an ability to use such cues as the native listeners use for segmentation. The result indicates that they have difficulty segmenting a stream of the consecutive words in the stimuli into words for the perception due to the fact that they are not able to use as many acoustic and phonetic cues as the native speakers.

전 세계적으로 언택트 영향력이 증가함에 따라 홈트레이닝과 관련된 제품과 서비스들이 다양하게 출시되고 있다. 그중 인공지능 홈트레이닝 서비스는 에이전트 개념인 인공지능 홈트레이너를 중심으로 사용자에게 새로운 경험을 제공하고 있으며, 의인화된 에이전트는 사용자에게 긍정적인 사용경험을 제공하여 심리적인 유대감을 형성한다는 연구결과가 나타났다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 오프라인 퍼스널 트레이닝, 온라인 콘텐츠 기반 홈트레이닝을 전통적 트레이닝 유형으로 분류하고, 인터뷰를 통해 사용자에게 있어 멘탈모델이라고 할 수 있는 실제 트레이너의 강점을 8가지로 도출할 수 있었다. 이후 인공지능 홈트레이닝 서비스 경험이 있는 집단에게 의인화 관련 요구사항 11가지를 수집하여 실제 트레이너의 강점과 대응하였고, 에이전트 의인화 수준을 높일 수 있는 아이디어를 발산하였다. 이를 6개의 사용단계로 정리하여 프로토타입을 제작하고 해당 디자인의 검증을 위해 유용성, 만족도, 지속의도를 판단할 수 있는 설문조사를 실시하였다. 그 결과 응답자들은 인공지능 트레이너와 인터랙션이 가장 활발한 ‘사용자를 위한 설정’과 ‘인공지능 트레이너와의 대화’ 단계에서 유용성과 만족도, 지속의도가 상대적으로 높게 나타났다. 이와 같이 본 연구는 인공지능 홈트레이닝 에이전트의 의인화 수준을 높이는 데에 실제 트레이너의 강점을 차용하여 긍정적 결과를 얻었다는 것에 의의가 있다. With the increasing influence of untact worldwide, a variety of home training-related products and services are being released. Among them, a service called Artificial Intelligence Home Training is providing new experiences to users focusing on artificial intelligence home trainers. Studies have shown that these anthropomorphic agents provide users with positive use experiences, creating psychological bonds. Thus, this study classified offline personal training and online content-based home training as traditional training types, and interviewed to derive eight strengths of real trainers, which can be called mental models for users. Since then, 11 personalization-related requirements have been collected for groups with experience in artificial intelligence home training services and responded to the strengths of real trainers. Then, we came up with an idea to increase the level of agent personification. This was organized into six stages of use to produce prototypes and to determine their usefulness, satisfaction, and sustainability for verification of the design. As a result, the respondents showed relatively high usefulness, satisfaction, and sustainability in the "set-up for users" and "talking with artificial intelligence trainers" stages, where artificial intelligence trainers and interactions are most active.
