문예사의 맥락으로 읽는 힌데미트의 그로테스크: ≪한 밤 중에 ... 꿈과 체험≫과 ≪우스꽝스러운 신포니에타≫를 중심으로

본 논문은 힌데미트의 그로테스크가 도드라지는 초기 기악곡 ≪우스꽝스러운 신포니에타≫ op. 4와 ≪한 밤 중에 ... 꿈과 체험≫ op. 15에 주목하면서 유럽 문예사에서 구축되어온 그로테스크의 개념, 내용, 미학의 맥락 안에 힌데미트의 그로테스크를 놓아본다. 힌데미트는 그가 당면한 낭만주의 음악의 전통, 질서, 윤리, 표현 방식을 풍자하면서 그것들의 무의미와 무가치를 드러내는 작업에서 그로테스크를 요긴한 도구로 쓴다. 거센 반음계와 불협화음, 혼란의 박절과 리듬, 피아노의 타악기화 등을 통해 낭만주의 음악을 과장, 왜곡하며 일그러뜨린다. 이것은 기존 질서에 대한 부정 및 거부라는 그로테스크의 본질적인 의도를 담아내면서 강렬한 긴장, 당혹, 생경, 섬뜩의 인상을 불러일으킨다. 힌데미트는 반낭만주의적 그로테스크의 악곡들 사이에 재즈 춤곡을 위치시켜 본질과 태생이 다른 형상들의 혼합이라는 그로테스크의 고전적 어법을 다루기도 한다. 표현주의 시와 엮어 교향곡 중심부의 구조 체계를 허물어버리기도 한다. 이때 고대부터 르네상스, 바로크를 거쳐 19-20세기까지 주요하게 쓰인 그로테스크의 수법과 어법들이 곳곳에서 읽힌다. 힌데미트의 창작을 넘어 음악예술이 더 큰 문예사적 맥락 안에 놓이게 되는 지점이 형성되는 순간들이다. This thesis puts Hindemith’s Grotesque in the context of aesthetics and contents of the Grotesque, paying attention to the early instrumental Lustige Sinfonietta für kleines Orchester op. 4 and In einer Nacht ... Träume und Erlebnisse op. 15, in which Hindemith’s Grotesque stands out. Satirizing the traditions, order, ethics, and expression of romantic music he faces, Hindemith uses the Grotesque as an indispensable tool and reveals the meaningless and worthless features of those kinds of music. He magnifies, twists, and contorts the pieces and genres of romanticism with strong chromatic scales, dissonances, confused beats and rhythms, and the use of the piano as a percussion. It excites strongly strained, confusing, strange, and uncanny features, capturing Grotesque’s essential intention of denying and rejecting the existing order. Hindemith places jazz dance music among anti-romantic Grotesque pieces and handles its classical grammar of mixing shapes of different natures and origins. Also, he interweaves it with expressionist poetry and breaks down the structural system of the center of the symphony. At this time, the techniques and grammar of the Grotesque, which were mainly used from ancient times to the 19-20th centuries through the Renaissance and Baroque, are placed everywhere. These are the moments when the points where music art are placed within a greater artistic and literary context beyond Hindemith’s creation are formed.

일반적인 기체분리막은 투과도와 선택도의 역상관 관계를 가지고 있다. 본 연구에서는 P25(TiO₂ 나노입자의 상품명)와 양친성 가지형 공중합체로 구성된 혼합매질을 제조하였으며 투과도와 선택도가 동시 향상되는 결과를 얻었다. 가지형 공중합체는 폴리비닐클로라이드(PVC) 주사슬과 폴리옥시에틸렌메타크릴레이트(POEM) 곁사슬로 구성되었으며 원자전달라디칼중합(ATRP)을 통해 합성하였다. DSC 결과를 통해 P25를 도입했을 경우 PVC-g-POEM의 유리전이온도가 감소되는 것을 확인하였으며 이는 사슬 결정도의 감소를 나타낸다. XRD, SAXS, TGA, SEM을 통해 분리막의 결정 구조, 도메인간의 간격 변화, 미세 모폴로지 및 열적 특성을 분석하였다. 순수 PVC-g-POEM에 비해, P25/PVC-g-POEM 혼합매질 분리막은 투과도는 46.2에서 102.8 Barrer(1 Barrer=1×10<SUP>-10</SUP>cm<SUP>3</SUP>(STP)·cm·cm<SUP>-2</SUP>·s<SUP>-1</SUP>·cmHg<SUP>-1</SUP>)로 122% 증가하였으며, CO₂/N₂ 선택도는 29.6에서 39.1로 32% 향상되었다. 증가된 CO₂ 투과도는 증가된 확산도의 결과이며, 향상된 선택도는 N₂ 용해도 감소로부터 기인한다. Conventional gas separation membranes have a trade-off relation between permeability and selectivity. Here, we report simultaneously improved permeability and selectivity through a mixed matrix membrane (MMM) consisting of P25 and amphiphilic graft copolymer. A graft copolymer composed of poly(vinyl chloride) (PVC) and poly(oxyethylene methacrylate) (POEM) as the backbone and side chains, respectively, was synthesized. The glass transition temperature (Tg) of PVC-g-POEM decreased upon addition of P25, indicating a decrease in chain rigidity. The crystalline structure, d-spacing, morphology and thermal properties of membranes were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), small angle X-ray scattering (SAXS), thermogravimetric analysis (TGA), and scanning electron microscopy (SEM). Compared to pristine PVC-g-POEM, the CO₂ permeability through P25/PVC-g-POEM MMM increased by 122% from 46.2 to 102.8 Barrer, while the CO₂/N₂ selectivity increased by 32% from 29.6 to 39.1. The increased CO₂ permeability mostly resulted from increased diffusivity, while the increased selectivity was attributed to decreased solubility of N₂.
