      • 생물정보시스템을 이용한 Local Animal BLAST Search System 구축

        BLAST(Basic Local Alignment Search Tool)는 서열 데이터베이스 탐색을 위하여 가장 많이 사용되는 프로그램이다. 전체 서열간의 최적 글로벌 정렬을 수행하는 대신에 지역적 유사성이 있는 부분을 찾아 서열 짝짓기를 수행하는 특징을 갖는다. 일반적인 연구자들은 서열 상동성 검색을 위해 NCBI에 접속하여 웹 브라우저를 통해 온라인으로 BLAST를 수행하게 되는데, 이 경우 사용자 각각의 네트워크 환경이나 입력할 데이터양에 따른 검색속도의 지연 및 제한 등과 같은 여러 문제에 부딪히게 되고, 또한 보안유지가 필요한 서열 데이터의 유출 가능성이 존재한다. 그러므로 대량의 서열 데이터에 대하여 빠르고 안전하게 BLAST 상동성 검색이 가능한 Local BLAST 검색 시스템의 필요성이 증대되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 NCBI의 Genbank에서 공개된 동물의 발현 유전자 단편들(ESTs)에 대한 데이터를 이용하여 소, 돼지, 닭, 등의 경제형질과 연관된 유용 유전자만을 추출하여 이들만으로 구성된 새로운 데이터베이스를 구축하였고, 또한 이들을 사용할 수 있는 새로운 검색시스템을 개발하였다 자체 제작한 Perl script를 사용하여 필요한 데이터를 축종별로 추출 하여 새로운 DB를 구축하였으며 이 속에는 소의 경우 650,046개, 돼지의 경우 368,120개, 닭의 경우 693,005개의 발현 유전자 단편들(ESTs)이 포함된다. 또한 이들 DB 분석이 가능한 Local Animal BLAST Web 검색시스템(http://bioinfo.kohost.net)을 고성능 병렬 PC Cluster 시스템과 연동하도록 자체 구축함으로써 본 시스템이 보다 효율적인 생물정보학 연구수행이 기여할 것으로 기대된다. The Basic Local Alignment Search Tool (BLAST) is one of the most established software in bioinformatics research and it compares a query sequence against the libraries of known sequences in order to investigate sequence similarity. Expressed Sequence Tags (ESTs) are single-pass sequence reads from mRNA (or cDNA) and represent the expression for a given cDNA library and the snapshot of genes expressed in a given tissue and/or at a given developmental stage. Therefore, ESTs can be very valuable information for functional genomics and bioinformatics researches. Although major bio database (DB) websites including NCBI are providing BLAST services and EST data, local DB and search system is demanding for better performance and security issue. Here we present animal EST DBs and local BLAST search system. The animal ESTs DB in NCBI Genbank were divided by animal species using the Perl script we developed. and we also built the new extended DB search systems fur the new data (Local Animal BLAST Search System: http://bioinfo.kohost.net), which was constructed on the high-capacity PC Cluster system fur the best performance. The new local DB contains 650,046 sequences for Bos taurus(cattle), 368,120 sequences for Sus scrofa (pig), 693,005 sequences for Gallus gallus (fowl), respectively.

        자동차 HUD 표시장치의 인식특성에 관한 연구

        The Paper presents some potential new uses for Head-Up Displays (HUDs) in vehicular applications, where the information conveyed to the driver goes well beyond the content of today's production HUDs. Such information potentially related to the use of cellular telephones, navigation systems, vehicle to roadside communications systems, and many others. Improvements in flat panel display technologies are enabling the presentation of larger, more reconfigurable, more daylight-viewable HUD images. In addition, A Formal test and evaluation is proposed to ensure that new information displays support the driver tasks. The above developments suggest increased future opportunities for HUDs to present useful information in an as-needed, eyes-on-the-road manner.

        자동차 클러스터용 PCB의 전자기 노이즈 저감 방안 연구

        In this paper, an EMI reduction effects using an EMC chamber is described and reduction methods is proposed. In the case of general electronic components a working frequency is low. But in this paper the vehicle cluster works 75MHz in the main clock frequency, becoming weak by noise because of being attached in TFT LCD. As the outer case installed in the vehicle is made up of plastic materials, the noise is radiated if not protecting noise in the PCB itself. Therefore, This paper will explain the theoretical basis and propriety with respect to the discussion and need about the guide for PCB design considering EMC, through the reduction of PCB noise.

        HC 분사에 의한 디젤 분진 저감의 제어특성 연구

        The goals of this research are to understand the regeneration characteristics in diesel particulate filter using the HC injection. This research emphasized on the development of Continuously Regenerating DOC/DPF and HC technology which was the best particulate matters removing technology of current existing technology. This experimental study has been conducted with equipped a Continuously Regenerating DOC/DPF and HC injection on displacement 2.0, 3.3ℓ diesel engine and compared in terms of particulate material and emission. In this study, we could constructed 3 kinds of database according to quantity of temperature to decide the HC injection quantity and develop DOC/DPF ECU algorithm.

        전자식 조향장치를 위한 조향 센서 개발에 관한 연구

        In this paper, for the first time a new type of narrow-range angle sensor based on inductive effect is introduced and studied. A prototype steering angle sensor is also designed and fabricated to compare the characteristics of the four methods from the viewpoints of sensitivity, linearity and resolution, angle range of the sensor output. This sensor is designed to be sensitive to very small resolution in angle with detected range is scaled down to about 12bit. An intensive investigation has been carried out to study the behaviors of the sensor and optimize its performance by signal compensation. These behaviors are discussed and explained using an analytical and experimental testings. Moreover, Application possibility of the sensor are proposed and a demo device based on the sensor is presented.

        자동차 CNG용 고압 레귤레이터의 특성해석에 관한 연구

        자동차 천연가스의 주행거리를 증가시키기 위해서는 연료용기의 고압이 필요하고 고압의 연료를 적절한 압 력으로 저감시키는 기술개발이 요구된다. 본 연구에서는 천연가스 자동차에서 가장 중요한 압력 제어기의 압력특성을 조사하였다. 압력 제어기에서의 히스테리시스, 압력저하 및 제어기의 유량특성을 수학적으로 해석하였다. 또한, 본 논 문에서는 CNG 제어기에 대한 새로운 방식의 유압해석 방법을 제시하였다. 마지막으로 실험을 실시하여 실제 동작조 건에서 압력 제어기의 수학적 해석의 유용성을 검증하였다. To increase the driving distance of a natural gas vehicle, the high pressure of fuel charge is necessary and the development of the device reducing the pressure to suitable pressure for fuel of high pressure. In this study, Pressure characteristics at the pressure regulator, which is very important for gas supply systems for vehicles, are investigated. Numerical simulations are carried out to quantify pressures at regulators for several flow rates and to investigate pressure drop, hysteresis losses at some parts in the pressure regulator. Moreover, this paper presents a new kind of hydraulic simulation which is composed of CNG regulator. Lastly, experiments are carried out to verify the effectiveness of the prosed mathematical simulation with various regulator components as in real working condition.

        고전압 시스템을 위한 초고용량 축전지 모듈 특성 연구

        Supercapacitors as novel energy storage devices between conventional capacitors and batteries, with more specific capacitance and energy densities than conventional capacitors and more power densities than batteries are to be used in many fields. Supercapacitor is regarded as one of good alternatives for meeting the requirement of market with excellent power performance and high cyclability. This paper deals with the characteristics of charge and discharge behavior of supercapacitor module for developing 42V hybrid energy storage system with lead acid battery and supercapacitor in order to adopt to 42V power net for vehicle. An analysis performed in this paper indicates that supercapacitor storage system may be cost effective for high cycle applications

        It is necessary to carry out quantitative analysis for the ABS hydraulic modulator to upgrade the system performances. Mathematical modeling method for the ABS hydraulic modulator, is suggested in the view of electromagnetism and fluid mechanics. Also, an analytic method is proposed for the resultant forces of electromagnetism and hydraulic pressure generated in the real vehicle ABS. The relationships between the design factor of Inlet & outlet solenoid valve and the system performance of ABS, are investigated through the analytical precess.

      • 지능형 ESC 시스템을 위한 모델 기반 결함검출

        This paper describes a model based fault detection algorithm for an Advanced ESC System which consists of Hydraulic Control Unit (HCU) with built-in wheel pressure sensors. Advanced ESC System can be used for various value-added functions such as Stop & Go Function and Regenerative Brake Function. Therefore, HCU must have a reliable fault detection. Due to the huge amount of sensor signals, existing specific sensor based fault detection of HCU cannot guarantee the safety of vehicle. However, proposed algorithm dose not require the sensors. When model based fault detection algorithm detects severe failures of the HCU, it warns the driver in advance to prevent accidents due to the failures. For this purpose, a mathematical model is developed and validated in comparison to actual data. Simulation results and data acquired from an actual system are compared with each other to obtain the information needed for the fault detection process.
