        This paper introduces evolutionary computing to Fractal Image Compression(FIC). In Fractal Image Compression(FIC) a partitioning of the image into ranges is required. As a solution to this problem, there is a propose that evolution computation should be applied in image partitionings. Here ranges are connected sets of small square image blocks. Populations consist of configurations, each of which is a partitioning with a fractal code. In the evolution each configuration produces children who inherit their parent partitionings except for two random neighboring ranges which are merged. From the offspring the best ones are selected for the next generation population based on a fitness criterion Collage Theorem. As the optimum image includes duplication in image data, it gets smaller in saving space, more efficient in speed and more capable in image quality than any other technique in which other coding is used. Fractal Image Compression(FIC) using evolution computation in multimedia image processing applies to such fields as recovery of image and animation which needs a high-quality image and a high image-compression ratio.

Fractal Image Compression(FIC) using evolution computation in multimedia image processing applies to such fields as recovery of image and animation which needs a high-quality image and a high image-compression ratio. 프랙탈 영상 압축(Fractral Image Compression:FIC)의 진화 계산(Evolution Computation)을 이용한 영상 분할(Image Partition)을 소개한다. 프랙탈 영상 압축에서 지역(Ranges)의 영상 분할은 꼭 필요하다[1]. 프랙탈 영상 압축은 쉽고 빠르게 복원된다는 장점을 갖는 데 비해 반복적인 프랙탈 변환의 적용으로 많은 계산량을 필요로 한다는 단점을 가지고 있다. 위와 같은 문제점을 해결하기 위한 방법으로 영상 분할을 하는데 있어 진화 계산을 적용하는 것에 대해 제안한다. 치역 영상(Ranges Image)은 작은 사각(Square) 영상 블록들의 결합된 집합으로 구성할 수 있다. 모집단을 구성하는 하나의 $N_p$는 분할되어진 하나의 코드들이다. 진화 계산에서 각각의 구성은 두 개의 이웃하는 치역은 제외하고 그들의 부모(Parent)로부터 분할을 상속받은 자식 $\sigma$를 생성한다. 자손들의 최적의 영상은 콜라주 정리(Collage Theorem)에 기초를 둔 다음 세대 모집단을 위해 선택되어지고 처리된다. 최적의 영상은 영상 데이터에 포함된 중복성을 포함함으로서 적은 저장 공간을 차지하고 속도 문제에 있어서 효율적이고 영상의 화질에 있어서 다른 부호화를 사용한 기법보다 우수한 성능을 갖는다. 멀티미디어 영상 처리(Multimedia Image Processing)의 진화 계산을 이용한 프렉탈 영상 압축은 영상의 복원과 영상의 질, 고 압축률을 요하는 동영상의 적용등의 많은 분야에 적용된다.

        패밀리레스토랑 조리사의 조직공정성인지가 직무만족 및 경영성과에 미치는 영향

        The purpose of this study was to investigate the influence of a cook's understanding about organizational fairness on job satisfaction and business performance at family restaurants in Seoul. Frequency analysis, reliability analysis, factor analysis, and SEM were applied to analyze the data. First, a confirmatory reliability analysis indicated that organizational fairness, job satisfaction, and business performance were sufficient to be used in this investigation. Organizational fairness, job satisfaction and business performance had generally significant relationships by implementing SEM. According to the results, distributive fairness (p< 0.001), procedural fairness (p< 0.05) and interactive fairness (p< 0.05) had positive influence on cook's job satisfaction. Job satisfaction had a positive influence on financial (p< 0.05) and non-financial performance (p< 0.001). Therefore, for the purposes of food-service companies' continuous increases in business performance and competition are generally necessary to suitably manage the fairness of various policies such as job stability, promotions, impartial distribution of salary, bonus and welfare work, and internal marketing.

        Investigation of Single Nucleotide Polymorphisms in the Adipocyte Fatty-Acid Binding Protein (FABP4) Gene

        본 연구는 돼지 4번 염색체에서 FAT1 좌위의 후보유전자인 Adipocyte Fatty-Acid 결합단백질 (FABP4) 유전자에서 8개의 Single Nucleotide Polymorphisms (SNPs) 를 발견하였다. Duroc, Landrace, Berkshire, Yorkshire를 기초 축으로 이용한 800두에 대해 FABP4 유전자의 단일염기 분석과 PCR-RFLP를 이용하여 그 다형성을 조사하고 돼지의 일당증체량, 등지방두께, 사료요구율, 정육율과 그 유전자형 간의 연관성을 규명하고자 실시하였다. FABP4 유전자에 대해 각 단일염기에 관한 PCR-RFLP를 이용하여 400~800 bp 산물을 증폭한후 각각의 제한효소로 사용하여, 얻어진 FABP4 유전자의 빈도는 품종별로 다르게 나타났다. 통계적 분석을 통하여 각 유전자형에 대한 경제형질과 연관성을 분석한 결과 일당증체량, 등지방두께, 정육율, 사료요구량은 다른 유전자형을 가진 개체들이 유의적으로 우수한 능력을 보였다 (P<0.05). FABP4유전자는 일당증체량, 정육율, 등지방두께 에 높은 연관성이 있음을 관찰하였다. 따라서 돼지의 성장과 정육율에 관련된 선발력을 높이기 위해서 FABP4 유전자의 다형성 분석에서 검증된 PCR marker를 우량돼지육종 계획에 있어 분자생물학적 선발 marker로 사용할 수 있을 것으로 사료된다. We found 8 single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) in adipocyte fatty acid bonding protein (FABP4) gene as candidate gene of FAT1 locus on pig chromosome 4. With over 800 heads of major commercial pig breeds including Duroc, Landrace, Berkshire and Yorkshire, we analyzed SNPs of FABP4 gene to determine possible effects of FABP4 genotype to economically important traits. 400~800 bp amplicons in FABP4 gene were used PCR-RFLP for each SNPs and we found that the frequency of some SNPs of this gene was different among the breeds. According to the statistical analyses to determine possible associations of each genotype with economic traits, it was found that subgroup with different genotypes showed significant differences in daily gain, backfat thickness, lean percentage and feed conversion ratio (P<0.05). Thus, as a part of enhancing the selection competence related to swine growth rate and lean percentage, it is expected that FABP4 gene markers verified in this study will be useful to use for Korean commercial pig industry.

      • 전처리 알고리즘을 이용한 멀티미디어 영상처리 개선에 관한 연구

        Preprocessing is a essential step in image processing. We analyzed the image filters by comparing several differently processed image in order to quantify the applied method filters not by option but a rule. One way extract the minimum data by preprocessing without losing it's fidelity in image processing. But there is no quantified rule for preprocessing algorithm, and the algorithm is treated by experience. So several types of result are appeared by intelligence or experience of one who embodies the algorithm. In order to compensate these demerits, I propose MS filter and ML filter that are simple and save the time consumed in computation.

        In this paper, we propose a motion of people tracking using Snakes Model. Snakes Model is an active contour model defined by an energy function in terms of the internal energy, the image energy, and the external energy. Then we can find the people contour model in the image by minimizing the energy function using Finite Element Methods. In order to increase an effect of object tracking and adaptable motion prediction, it used temporary motion information existing in an image and led to the transformation matrix from the motion tracking algorithm for the transformation process and motion of object.
