The present study is of ultra-fine structure of Cryptococcus neoformans by means of electron microscopy and reveals the following : 1) In constrast to the bacteria, the normal Cryptococcus neofrmans contains nuclear enveloped with nuclear menbrane, mitochondria, endoplasmic reticulum, distinct cell wall and cell membrane, vacuoles and storage granules as observed in the eucaryotic cells. 2) In apparent cell walls and cell membrane with the appearance of electron transparent area (ETA) and changes of cell morphology were observed in the ultra-violet ray irradiated cell. 2) In apparent cell walls and cell membrance with the appreance of electron transparent area (ETA) and changes of cell morphology were observed in the ultra-violet ray irradiated cell. 3) Morphology changes and cytoplasmic element abnormality was increased with irradiated time. 4) Increase of electron transparent area was thought to be associated with degradation of cell.
체외수정의 예후지표로서 정자의 Zona-Free Hamster Ovum Penetration 분석에 관한 연구

Defective or inadequate semen quality, usually presenting as low sperm count or poor sperm motility , is recognizable by semen analysis. However, the ability of spermatozoa to fertilize an ovum is not determined used in various experiments. In this study, hamster oocyte sperm penetration assay was used to determine the fertilizing capacity of sperms in 20 subjects which divided into two groups, group A with 10 normal fertile men, and group B with 10 infertile men. The % penetration in group A and group B were 61% and 35% respectively, which showed statistically not significant but fertilization index was significantly different between group A(FI=2.24) and group B(FI=O.05). Additionally it seemed that the percentage of sperm penetraton was influenced more by the motility of spermatozoa than by the number.
철도차량의 온실가스배출량 산정을 위한 제품범주규칙(PCR)에 관한 연구

Product category rules(PCR) defines the criteria for identification of a specific product category and sets out the parameters to prepare product's environmental informations. PCR has a strong point which can compare the environmental informations clearly, if the products that fulfill same function, declare the environmental information via PCR. PCR considers the whole life cycle(raw material extraction stage, manufacturing stage, use stage and end of life stage) and it is based on ISO 14025 and ISO 14040 series. The purpose of this study is developing PCR to calculate the quantity of greenhouse gases emission from railway vehicle. PCR sets required categories and scope for railway vehicle and defines the methodology to calculate the GHG. Railway vehicle has lots of components and parts, so this characteristic is considered to set system boundary. Greenhouse gases data based on PCR of railway vehicle is possible with data for certificating the carbon labeling.
범용 신틸레이터 감마카메라와 심근전용 반도체 감마카메라의 성능 비교 연구

최근 Cadmium-zinc-telluride (CZT) 반도체를 이용한 심장전용 감마카메라가 심장 핵의학 검사에 사용되고 있다. 본 연구는 기존 NaI(Tl) 신틸레이터를 사용한 감마카메라와 성능을 비교해 보고자 한다. CZT반도체를 사용한 심장전용 감마카메라(DSPECT, Spectrum-dynamic)와 범용 신틸레이터 SPECT 감마카메라(Infinia, GE)를 사용하여 연구를 진행했다. 방사성 동위원소는 $^{99m}TcO^{-4}$를 사용하고, 일반 임상 심장핵의학 검사에 사용된 조건을 실험 조건으로 설정 했다. NEMA 2001, 3 line phantom을 사용하여 반치폭(full width at half maximum, FWHM)을 측정하여 공간분해능(Spatial resolution)을 비교했다. 심장 팬텀을 사용하여 대조도대잡음비(Contrast to noise, CNR)를 비교하여 영상을 평가했다. 그리고 팬텀의 시간 당 MBq당 계수를 측정하여 민감도도 평가했다. NaI (Tl) 신틸레이터를 사용한 범용SPECT 감마카메라와 CZT 반도체를 사용한 심장 전용 감마카메라의 영상평가에서 감도는 $52.83counts{\cdot}sec^{-1}{\cdot}MBq^{-1}$과 $195.83counts{\cdot}sec^{-1}{\cdot}MBq^{-1}$로 나왔고, 공간분해능은 16.90 mm과 9.47 mm로 나왔다. 그리고 대조도대 잡음비는 3.6 과 4.2 로 나왔다. 기존 카메라를 이용한 심장 핵의학 영상과 비교하여 CZT를 사용한 심장 전용 감마카메라는 감도 및 공간분해능, 대조도대잡음비가 기존 감마카메라와 비교하여 월등하여 임상에서 환자의 피폭선량 저감과 검사 시간 단축, 높은 분해능의 영상으로 환자 만족도에 큰 영향을 줄 것으로 사료 된다. Purpose Recently, Cadmium-zinc-telluride (CZT) semiconductor myocardial SPECT (Single Photon Emission Computed Tomography) has been used myocardial scintigraphy. In this study, the performance of Semiconductor SPECT and conventional SPECT systems was compared by a comprehensive analysis of phantom SPECT images. Materials and Methods Methods: We evaluated the DSPECT CZT SEPCT (Spectrum-dynamic) and INFINA conventional (GE). Physical performance was compared on reconstructed SPECT images from a phantom. Results For count sensitivity on cardiac phantom images ($counts{\cdot}sec^{-1}{\cdot}MBq^{-1}$), DSPECT had a sensitivity of conventional SPECT. This classification was similar to that of myocardial counts normalized to injected activities from phantom images (respective mean values, $counts{\cdot}sec^{-1}{\cdot}MBq^{-1}$: 195.83 and 52.83). For central spatial resolution: DSPECT, 9.47mm; conventional SPECT, 16.90mm. For contrast-to-noise ratio on the phantom: DSPECT, 4.2; conventional SPECT, 3.6. Conclusion The performance of CZT cameras is dramatically higher than that of conventional SPECT. However, CZT cameras differ in that spatial resolution and contrast-to-noise ratio are better with conventional SPECT, whereas count sensitivity is markedly higher with the DSPECT.
사용내구연한이 만료된 철도차량의 주요 재질별 재활용률 산정에 관한 연구

The regulation involved with railway vehicles is defined by law to protect customer and fundamental safety. The persisting period of domestic railway vehicles in general are 25~30years. Expired railway vehicles are disused in various way. The railway vehicles are consists of recyclable various materials, but there is no standardization or calculating method related with railway vehicles to make disuse scenario. In this study, performed to get a recycling ratio about major materials of domestic subway railway vehicles using ISO 22628 which is Road vehicles-Recyclability and recoverrability method. This research provide foundation for further researches, standardization of EoL stage and recycling railway vehicle.
