        동의보감(東醫寶鑑) 외용고(外用膏)에 대한 고찰(考察)

        Objective : The study was performed to investigate prescriptions, herbal drugs, how to make of external ointment treatment in "Dongeuibogam". Method : I will try to find out external ointment treatment in "Dongeuibogam" using a word, Go(膏). Result : 1. The external ointment has been widely used medical diseases as well as sugical diseases. 2. The same prescription name to have different information was written by other people. 3. Various kinds of medicinal herbs, minerals, anlmals were used and type of oil or juice was used to dissolve these. 4. Methods to make the external ointment were to grind medicines or melt medicine. 5. The external ointment was used to put in eyes or to push into wound and rubed the skin. Conclusion : Go(膏) In "Dongeuibogam" are external ointment treatment when they are used at skin. However, they are used as internal medicine in other side so we might be careful to use Go(膏) for medicine.

      • 한방클리닉에 내원(來院)한 감기환자에 대한 조사연구

        Objectives : A common cold is a viral disease. There exists only allopathy for it depending on symptoms because of no cure. Korean medicine has taken a serious view of common cold patients with digestive problems as well as patients of the common cold. Accordingly, this study is aimed at finding out the traits of patients with digestive problems among common cold patients. Methods : A survey was conducted with 62 cold patients who got medical treatment in Korean medicine clinics located in small cities and towns including metropolitan cities. The SPSS for Windows( 19.0 Version) was used for statistical analysis. Results : Depending on which clinic common cold patients decided to go to, there was a significant difference in the number of sick days. The group of patients who decided to go straight to oriental medicine clinics had fewer sick days. Only 9.7% of the group of patients who got treatment in Koean medicine clinics had more than 6 sick days. The group of common cold patients with digestive problems had more sick days than the group with no digestive problems, which showed that there was a significant correlation between digestive problems and sick days. When it came to digestive problems depending which clinic common cold patients decided to go to, there was no significant value because of little data collection. However, while 41.9% of the group who went to hospital at first and then to Koean medicine clinic had digestive problems, 24.2% of the group who directly went to Koean medicine clinic had digestive problems. On the whole, 66.1% of the entire common cold patients were shown to have digestive problems. Conclusion : There are relatively many patients with digestive problems among common cold patients, and there is a significant correlation between digestive problems and sick days on common cold.

        남성의 패션관여상황에 따라 추구하는 자기이미지와 선호 패션스타일

        The purpose of this study is to investigate the self-image of men and the characteristics of their fashion styles, as they are fast becoming an influential consumer group. Men in the thirties and forties who had a higher-than-average interest in fashion were surveyed online and the results from this study are as follows. In terms of variations of self-image connected to situations, we found that there were strong relationships between the preference of the “charming & romantic” image to private meet-ups with acquaintances, “intelligent & classy” to official events, “rational & realistic” to everyday work in an official setting, and “modest & ordinary” to complex situations including family occasions and customary events. Those who aimed for “urban refinement - sensitive” appeal also preferred a “charming & romantic” self-image, while pursuing a “classic & modern” fashion style for official settings and a “gentle & charming” style in private settings. Those who aimed for “stable elegance - intelligent” youth” image preferred the “intelligent & classy” image, while pursuing a “stable & intelligent” fashion style in official settings, and an “intelligent yet active & young” style in private settings. Those who aimed for “rational practicality - comfortable activity” image preferred a “rational & realistic” self-image, while pursuing a “rational & practical” fashion style in official settings, and a “comfortable & active” style in private settings. Those who aimed for “ordinary modesty - plain simplicity”preferred a modest and ordinary self-image, while pursuing an ordinary fashion style, and a simple style in private settings. The various situational assessments used in this study to analyze the fashion-related circumstances for male consumers can be utilized in upcoming studies, and can be an effective indicator of situational consumer preferences in terms of men’s fashion marketing and product planning strategies.

        X세대 남성의 패션스타일 유형과 특성

        Due to desire for more variation from male consumers within the men’s fashion market in Korea, there has been an ongoing development of departmentalization of fashion styles. The Generation-X man, in particular, is the most active member of our current day society, and will be the principal agent in the senior market from here on forth. Thus, this study categorized their preferred fashion styles, and will seek to analyze the behaviors related to the pursuit of clothing of the Generation-X man. The qualitative investigations of the Q-method as well as the quantitative investigation of the SPSS 12.0 were used in conjunction as the method of study. Additionally, images and types resulting from the preceding first-year study entitled “The Type and Characteristics of the Modern Men``s Fashion Images” were utilized as part of the surveys. As a result of the Q-method, which was used to derive the preferred fashion styles of the Generation-X man, they were classified into three categories: the classic suit preferring ‘conser- vative class type’, the polished, comfortable style preferring ‘modern sophisticated type’, and the adventure and variety seeking ‘uninhibited individualistic style’. After analyzing the factors which influence clothing preference behaviors of these men, a total of seven causes were drawn from the results, including: conservative indifference to fashion, others conscious pursuit of fashion, the aim to show off brand name products, high involvement in the aspect of design, pursuit of TPO, pursuit of self-image, and conformity to fashion. The elements that revealed differences in the behaviors in pursuing clothing within the preferred fashion style types of the Generation-X man included the conservative indifference to fashion, and others conscious pursuit of fashion, which therefore shows that rather than enjoying the fashion lifestyle, these men possess a more conservative disposition instead.

        현대 남성 패션 이미지의 유형 및 특성

        Modern male has displayed an increased desire to express their social influence and image, and the male fashion market has had to provide various styles and images to fill these needs. The current domestic menswear market, however, is unable to satisfy the needs of male consumers who have a need for diversity in a rapidly changing society; more segmented fashion images and styles are needed. The purposes of this study are to classify fashion images and to establish character of the types. This study was done by performing a literature review and a survey. This study proposed 10 categories of fashion style images. Men’s fashion style is classified into the classic image, sophisticated image, urban casual image, chic modern image, mods modern image, basic casual image, ethnic image, avant-garde image, active & outdoor image, and street-kitsch image. In the case of the classic images, common in formal setting, men’s formal wear is the main focus with the classic suit. The sophisticated image is that of a colorful formal wear seasoned with elegance. Urban casual image is contemporary image, and therefore is meant for city life wear. Chic and modern image conveys an urban image by seeking a simple and chic feel. Mods modern image is retro yet dandy, giving off a sense of youthfulness compared to the other classic images. Ethnic image expresses the exotic quality of folklore as the main representatives of the character casual wear. Avant garde image portrays strong character casual wear with oversized silhouettes or exaggerated details. Active & Outdoor image is leisure life wear conveying active, functional images. Street Kitsch image is men’s street casual wear with graphic patterns such as pop art and graffiti. This study’s significance lies in its presentation of fashion style data, which can be utilized in the design and marketing of fashion targeted to males.

        『동의보감(東醫寶鑑)』고제(膏劑)에 대한 연구

        Objectives: The study contains formulas, medicinal herbs, how to make of paste preparations in 『Dongeuibogam』. Methods: I will try to find paste preparations in 『Dongeuibogam』using a word, paste(膏). Results: Paste preparations are categorized into two types: the external and the internal medicine. Paste preparations were used not only in the dermatology disease but in the internal disease. The same formula name to have different information was written by other people. Various kinds of medicinal herbs, minerals, animals were used and type of oil or juice was used to dissolve these. Methods to process paste preparations were to grind medicines or extract from medicinal materials. Paste preparations for the external was used to put in eyes or to push into wound and apply them to the skin. Paste preparations for the internal was used to take with wine, water and herbal tea. Some paste preparations were used both external and internal. Conclusion: These results explain that Paste preparations were variously used in『Dongeuibogam』.

        20~30대 패션업계 종사자들의 이직과 스트레스에 대한 심층연구

        The purpose of this study is to conduct an in-depth examination into the cause of stress as well as reasons for turnover relative to fashion industry workers in their 20s-30s, thereby seeking effective improvement methods to reduce turnover. The study method consisted of one-on-one in-depth interviews to collect data on 15 fashion industry workers. Results were as follow. First, causes of stress for fashion industry workers in their 20s-30s include work related factors, interpersonal relations, and organizational culture, while the most frequently mentioned reasons for turnover were concerns about career track and aptitude as well as annual salary, revealing that self-improvement related growth potential is the most significant factor for turnover. Second, it was not one stress factor that influenced turnover but a composite of several stress factors that motivated individuals to change jobs. Last, time flexibility, self-esteem, and development potential were critical factors for turnover. Self-esteem and development potential that provide a sense of acknowledgment were especially emphasized as the most significant, revealing that the younger generation considers personal happiness to be critical and the more this aspect is not treated adequately the more the odds of choosing turnover. To mitigate this issue, an in-house educational system for self-development and an assignment rotation system must be adopted for workers to change to positions that fit their aptitude.

        패션 디자이너 브랜드의 디지털 스토리텔링 유형과 특성

        The purpose of this research is to systemize the fashion digital storytelling by analyzing the communication method and its elements, and extracting the characteristics and processes of digital storytelling. Based on the previous study on the characteristics and types of storytelling the following things have been researched: 1) the process of digital storytelling in the communication process, 2) the concept and the feature of the academia of digital storytelling 3) storytelling in the document research. On the groundwork of the document research, we were able to sort out the various types, and formed a system of the features in the fashion digital storytelling cases, mainly in the four collections (Milan, Paris, London, New York) from 2000`s to recent years of 2010. The types of fashion digital storytelling are episode type, narrative type, and creative type. The characteristics of each of the types are as follows. Firstly, the episode type communicates through the digital media based on the information or fact of the fashion designer brand. Secondly, narrative type communicates with the consumers using previous literature or an existing idea of the original cultural form that is rearranged in digital story expressed by the digital media. Lastly, creative type makes the designer`s and consumer`s susceptibility and creativity communicate through the newly made story, which expresses the unique originality of the designer. It seems that the cases and studies of using the fashion digital storytelling will increase because of its short history and lack of the case study. Fashion designer brands will show their brand image using the digital storytelling because they are able to better express originality, creativity and imagination of the fashion designer, which were factors that could not be conveyed through fashion alone.
