        초등학교 교사들의 융합인재교육(STEAM)에 대한 인식 연구

        The purpose of this study was to investigate the elementary school teachers` perception in STEAM Education. STEAM is an acronym of Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics. Korean government defined “STEAM” as the convergence education for quality human resources in the fields of science and technology. For this study, 93 elementary school teachers who have taught mathematics/science in gifted class were selected and a fifteen items questionnaire designed to elicit teachers` perception of steam education was to administered to them, The major findings are as follows: First, the ratio of teachers who understood a steam education exactly is very low. But teachers have positive thoughts about the need of steam education. Second, teachers thought that steam education has a good effect on elementary education. Third, teachers thought that steam education will be an alternative teaching and learning method. Fourth, teachers have negative thoughts to participate in class work related on steam education. To improve negative attitudes on steam education, incentives for teachers seems to be required. In order to spread steam education among the elementary school teachers successfully, the expansion of school facilities, administrators and staff in mind, improving financial support, strengthening education through the development of content and teaching strategies were analyzed as a challenge

      • 한국에서의 가상 교육의 현황과 운영에 관한 연구

        본 연구는 한국에서의 사이버 교육의 현황과 전망에 관한 연구이다. 이를 위해 사이버 교육의 각 개념과 용어에 대해 살펴보았으며, 가상 교육을 위한 원격 교육의 기반 기술 및 구성과 운영 방안에 대해 S/W 와 H/W적인 측면을 고찰하였고, 외국의 가상 교육의 사례와 한국의 가상 교육의 사례를 비교 고찰하였다. 또한 이에 대한 고찰을 기반으로 한국 상황에서 알맞은 가상 교육의 새로운 패러다임에 따른 수업의 구성과 운영 방안에 대하여 제시하였다. The purpose of this study is to investigate the situation and sound direction of Cyber Education in Korea. For this purpose, the concepts and terminologies of Cyber Education were summarized and major technologies and issues of Cyber Education as distance education in the area of hardwares as well as softwares were investigated. The comparison between foreign situation and Korean situation of Cyber Education in detail was made. Finally, the study suggested what would be the sound direction, sample curriculum, and management issues for the new paradigm in Korean Cyber Education.
