        움직임 추정 전용 프로세서를 위한 효율적인 루프 가속기

        본 논문은 움직임 추정 전용 프로세서를 위한 효율적인 루프 가속기를 제안한다. 실제로 움직임 추정 알고리즘은 복잡하고 다양한 순환 명령어들을 포함하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 효율적인 하드웨어 루프 명령어들을 지원하기 위해서, 네 개의 루프 명령어와 그에 따른 하드웨어 구조를 소개한다. 검증 결과 제안된 루프 가속기가 early-termination을 이용한 움직임 추정 시 비교명령어와 조건부 점프명령어를 갖고 있는 전형적인 구현 방법과 비교했을 때 평균 명령어 사이클 수를 약 29% 줄일 수 있다는 것을 보여준다. 제안된 움직임 추정 전용 프로세서 루프 가속기는 프로그램 메모리의 접근 빈도를 상당히 줄일 수 있고, 전력 소모를 많이 절약할 수 있다. 따라서, 제안된 루프 가속기는 전력 소모가 적고, 유연한 움직임 추정에 적합하다. This paper proposes an efficient loop accelerator for a motion estimation specific instruction-set processor. ME algorithms in nature contain complex and multiple loop operations. To support efficient hardware (HW) loop operations, this paper introduces four loop instructions and their specific HW architecture. The simulation results show that the proposed loop accelerator can reduce about 29% average instruction cycles for ME early-termination schemes compared with typical implementation having a combination of compare and conditional jump instructions. The proposed loop accelerator of the motion estimation specific instruction-set processor can significantly reduce the number of program memory accesses and greatly save power consumption. Hence, it can be quite suitable for low power and flexible ME implementation.

        조망 대상 위치에 따른 아파트 단위세대 조망 경관 선호 특성 분석

        The purpose of this study was to analyze the characteristic of each view in an apartment unit in terms of the quality. This study was accomplished by two research methods; the field survey on 181 apartment complexes in Daegu, and the preference evaluation on 24 cases sampled in the sense of its location, i.e. inside or outside of a complex. In the field survey, view targets were categorized into various items such as a building, a road, a mountain, a tree, another apartment, the sky, and so on, and the characteristics of the distance from a viewer to view targets and view of the level in an apartment were analyzed. In the preference evaluation, 24 cases, each one has one of the follows; the natural view, the artificial view, and the combined view of the both, were chosen and those were evaluated by 167 interviewees. As a result, the conclusions from the study were drawn as follows; 1) The view, the combination of buildings, roads, mountains, trees, apartments, and the sky, is usually seen in an apartment unit. 2) The type of view target is more significant to a person than its location. 3) The natural and combined view are preferred to the artificial one. 4) In the case of the same outside view, a person likes the open view more than the somewhat covered one.

        아파트 단위세대에서 보이는 경관에 대한 인지 및 선호 특성

        Following the previous ones, this study is intended to explore methods of qualitative assessment on the view from apartment units. It first complemented and analyzed the attributes of landscape elements and then set up questionnaire items based on these attributes to identify the tendencies in apartment inhabitants' recognition of landscape elements, and then conducted a preference assessment on the test cases sampled on the basis of picture and other data collected in the previous studies to identify the characteristics of the preference for the view from apartment units according to landscape elements. Consequently, the following results have been derived. First, the landscape elements seen from apartment units may be classified into a total of sixteen categories, and the overall ratio of natural elements to artificial ones is shown to be approximately one to three. Second, it is also shown that apartment dwellers tend to prefer natural landscape elements over artificial ones, and the preferences for the distance to and location of landscape elements exhibit certain variance depending on the type of the elements. Third, the analysis of the preference for landscape elements has revealed that the types of landscape elements, the make-up and diversity of landscape elements, and the perceived distance to landscape elements as well as the resultant feeling of openness all affect the preference tendencies.

        I. 아동의 외부활동을 위한 공간으로서 대구시 단독주택지 주거환경과 거주자 의식에 관한 연구

        The purpose of this study is to provide the information about improvement method of the detached housing area for children's outdoor activities. This study was accomplished by two research methods; the evaluation of physical environment of two detached housing areas, and the analyzation of satisfaction & consciousness of 190 residents. Outdoor spaces of detached housing area were divided into 6 areas (play space, education facility, commercial facility, green space, street space, and empty space & parking lot). And then, 6 outdoor spaces were evaluated about the physical characters such as accessibility, network, safety, variety, functional, natural elements. Also, the survey for resident's satisfaction and consciousness was used the Likert scale. According to the result of this study, many parts of the detached housing area were not good for children's outdoor activities, and the resident's satisfaction was low. In the sample detached housing areas, negative factors were car and motorcycle. And many residents pointed out the lack of natural elements, variety, and safety of outdoor space in dwelling area. Finally, this study suggested the several constitution method for the children's activities based on the results of evaluation and survey.

        대구시 아파트단지의 주차수요에 관한 연구

        After 1980's, the ratio of car possessions has been increased rapidly. Nowaday, most large cities have suffered a lot of problems about traffic and car parking. Specially in apartment complexes, they have parking problem which is caused by the parking demand. The ratio of parking demand at multi-family housing sites has been increased significantly, therefore several parking problems have occurred. The goal of this study is to investigate the parking demand per housing unit size of apartment complex in Daegu city. The results of this study is as follows. (1) The parking demand of 60 $m^2$ below sized housing unit is 1.09 car per the unit. (2) The parking demand of 60 $m^2$ over 85 $m^2$ below sized housing unit is 1.31 car per the unit. (3) The parking demand of 85 $m^2$ over 135 $m^2$ below sized housing unit is 1.74 car per the unit. (4) The parking demand of 135 $m^2$ over sized housing unit is 2.10 car per the unit.

        This study aims to analysis the migration tendency according to the residents' lifestyle in a large residential estate development. The lifestyle of residents in the suburban area who make their life by agriculture is different from that in the inner city. It may affect on the migration tendencies of the residents. Sin-seo residential land development district is located in the suburban of Daegu is chosen as the case study. This study examines the characteristics of residents' lifestyle and their migration tendency and analyzes the correlation between them. According to the results, the appropriate countermeasures to support the migrants are drawn as follows; First, the people who want to resettle and continue to do farming in the same place should be compensated with housing lands near their farmlands. Second, the residents who want to carry on a small business should be provided with the housing land near to the commercial zones. Third, the size of the new neighborhood unit should be enough to preserve the existing social structure as the social relationship among the neighbors is one of the most important factors in rural communities. Fourth, the high level of housing attachment of the residents needs to remain by maintaining the names of villages and roads of the neighborhoods. It is required to consider the lifestyle of residents and active communities when large residential land development district is planed in the suburban.

        주거지 외부공간에 대한 아동의 의견 및 선호도 분석에 관한 연구 -대구시 초등학교 학생을 중심으로 -

        The purpose of this study is to provide the planning device of outdoor environment of housing area for children. This study was accomplished the analyzation of opinion and preference of 230 children, elementary school students in Daegu. The contents of survey included the general items of children, the characteristics of outdoor activities, and the opinion & preference about outdoor space of housing area. And the survey of children's preference was used the 5 Likert scale. The conclusion of this study are as follows : First, generally, the design guidelines of housing area were provided to adult user, but the guidelines for children are limited at play space and park. So, the design guidelines of housing area must be provided by the children's opinion, pointment, and dissatisfaction. Second, children have the definite opinion and can point the preference about the outdoor space of housing area. So, children's opinion can not be bypassed in the process for planning of housing area. Third, children prefer the outdoor space that was furnished the facilities for convenience of the children's outdoor activities. So, exiting guideline of the outdoor space of housing area must improve to children.

        도시마을 커뮤니티 활성화를 위한 전통마을 공간 구조 특성 분석

        This study analyzes areas, traffic lines and characteristics of block of traditional villages in order to suggest how to build urban village in the way that can solve problems occurring in residential areas these days. The study showed the following results: 1) Traditional villages have definite boundary and entrance, and the community area for the villages is close to the entrance to encourage community activities of villagers. 2) With an access in the form of a blind alley branched from the main road, traditional villages form a small-sized clustering and encourage community activities in a natural way. 3) Formed of block with a pattern of net, blind alley or standing in a line on both sides, traditional villages help residents to form close relations between. These findings suggest that for building desirable urban villages, 1) they should have definite boundary, 2) size and location of community area should be determined in the way to activate community activities of residents, 3) roads inside the village should have branched form rather than standardized check pattern so that small-sized clustering could be formed along the branched inner roads, and 4) clustering in villages should be arranged in a line on both sides or in the form of a blind alley giving consideration to the length and width of roads. The roads should be also of a closed type so that residents could create strong bonds with their neighbors.

        임대주택단지 거주자의 물품구매 및 서비스 이용행태분석을 통한 주거지 개선방안에 관한 연구

        The purpose of this study is to analyse the pattern of residents behavior in public rental housing and to provide practical data based on the life style of low income groups. The neighborhood planning concept is the major influences in determining the pattern of residents behavior. From this point of view, this study focuses on residents' behavior pattern based on their life style, especially in the permanent rental housing in Daegu. This study examined residents' shopping and service using behavior, connected with convenience facilities, of 4 case areas by questionnaire. According to the result of this study, most residents in permanent rental housing do their daily work within walking distance area. In order to satisfy the increasing needs of diverse choices, it is resonable to develop the neighborhood planning methods which is well-matched with the pattern of residents behavior.
