세계적으로 친환경 교통수단인 철도 시장이 활성화 되면서 국내기업들도 해외에 진출하고자 각 기업들만의 경쟁력을 살려 컨소시엄 구성에 참여하는 방안으로 해외철도사업에 진출하고 있다. 반면에 해외 주요 철도기업들은 다각화된 사업 범위와 거대기업의 그룹형태로 세계 시장에 진출하고 있는 실정이다. 본 논문에서는, 해외 주요 철도기업들의 구조 분석을 통해 국내 철도 기업들이 해외 철도시장 진출 준비를 위해서 방향성 정립을 고찰하고자 외국 주요 철도기업 구조를 분석해 보았다. 외국기업의 구조 분석을 통해 국내 기업들의 사업방향성을 고찰하고자 한다. As railway market, the means of environmentally friendly transportation, has been vitalized, domestic companies with competitive edge expand overseas business in a consortium form. Otherwise, world leading companies for overseas railway business have entered world railway market through diversified business scope and the form of mega-corporation. This study aims to suggest the establishment of directivity of entering overseas markets for domestic railway companies taking into consideration analysis on the structure of world leading companies for overseas railway business and the business directional value through analysis on the structure of overseas railway companies.

해외철도시장 진출을 위한 공기업 역할과 사업수수방안 고찰

지금 세계는 지구 온난화에 따른 온실가스 저감방안으로 친환경교통수단인 철도가 각광받고 있다. 세계 철도시장은 매년 120조원 규모에 4.5% 증가 추세를 보이며 앞으로도 철도 부문의 투자는 지속적 확대가 될 것으로 예상된다. 유럽을 비롯한 선진 공기업은 민·관 합작 회사를 통해 해외 철도시장을 주도하고 있는 반면, 한국철도의 경우 건설·운영 경험을 통한 경쟁력을 갖추고 있음에도 불구하고 해외시장 진출에 어려움을 겪고 있는 실정이다. 본 연구는 해외 철도기관의 진출사례와 국내 공기업의 해외사업 수주 사례 검토를 통해 해외 철도시장 진출을 위한 공기업의 역할과 효과적인 수주 전략 방안을 검토하여 공기업의 해외진출 가능성을 높일 수 있는 기반을 조성하고자 한다. Now, with the way of reducing greenhouse gas according to global warming, railway has emerged a means of environmentally friendly transportation. As the amount spent on world railway market, 120trillion Won, has showed an annual increase of 4.5%, the investment on railways is expected to expand consistently. Korea railway has been difficult to enter overseas markets despite high levels of reliability and stability. Advanced state-owned enterprises including Europe, on the hand, take the lead in world railway market through joint venture company. This study aims to suggest the role of state-owned enterprise for overseas railway projects and the chance of entering overseas markets for state-owned enterprise of Korea taking into consideration domestic and foreign case study, successful marketing strategies.
