        용담화 에탄올 추출물의 항염증 효과에 관한 연구

        Objective : This research has been conducted to comparative analysis of anti-inflammatory effects to suggest a usefulness of ethanol extracts fromGentianae sino-ornata(GSO) as a functional material for inflammatory activities.Methods : Cell viability was measured by neutral red (NR) assay, and nitric oxide (NO) production in RAW264.7 cells was monitored by measuring the nitrite content in culture medium. The expressions of cyclooxigenase-2 (COX-2) was determined by western blot analysis, and Inducible nitric oxide syntase (iNOS) and cytokine were determined by reverse transcriptase-polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR).Results : When the GSO extract was added the concentration of 5-20 ㎍/㎕, the viability of cells was maintained 90% or more at all levels. NO production was suppressed by the treatment of GSO in LPS-stimulated RAW264.7 cells. GSO inhibited the expression of iNOS, COX-2, IL-1βand IL-6 in LPS-stimulated RAW264.7 cells.Conclusions: From this results, we consider that GSO can be a useful therapeutic and preventive approach to various inflammatory diseases as a functional material for inflammatory activities.

        ITO 기판에 제작된 PLZT 박막의 소성온도에 따른 특성

        2/65/35 PLZT stock solution prepared by Sol-Gel processing was spin-coated on ITO coated glass and annealed by RTA(Rapid Thermal Annealing). The crystal structure of films was reported based on the observation of crystallization process and microstructure of the film fabricated at different fabrication condition. Films were crystallized into rhombohedral structure by annealing at $750^{\circ}C$ for 5 min. As the annealing temperature increased, the size of rosette structure of the films was grown up from $2.4{\mu}m$ to $15{\mu}m$, dielectric constant was increased, coercive field was decreased 33.82 kV/cm, remnant polarization was increased to 39.84 ${\mu}C/cm^2$ and Optical transmittance was decreased.

        광해지역 토착 자생식물에 의한 중금속 흡수

        The purpose of this study was in search of native plant species showing metal-resistant property and excessively accumulating heavy metals in metal-contaminated soil or abandoned mines as well as in evaluation of applicability of phytoremediation. In the study area, species showing excessively accumulating heavy metals were a shepherd´s purse, pampas grass, a Korean lettuce, a Hwansam vine, the Korean persicary, a foxtail, a goosefoot, and a water pepper. The first screened plant species in Sambo mine were as shepherd's purse, Korean lettuce and pampas grass Among them the shepherd´s purse can be excluded because it is a seasonal plant and has lower removal capacity for heavy metals. The Korean lettuce was also excluded because of having lower removal capacity for heavy metals. Pampas grass is a highly bionic plant species constantly growing from spring. However it has weak points such as little accumulation capacity for zinc as well as small values of an accumulation factor and a translocation factor. Another problem is regarded as removal of roots after the clean up if pampas grass is applied to a farmland. In Sanyang mine, wormwood and Sorijaengi were considered as adaptable species.

        용담화 에탄올 추출물의 항노화 작용 연구

        Objective : The goal of this study is to identify the effects of extract ofGentianae sino-ornata(GSO) on the anti-oxidative activity of skin.For this purpose, several functions of GSO were analyzed in terms of skin-lightening activity and wrinkle improvement. Methods : Cell viability was measured by neutral red (NR) assay, and GSO showed highly efficacy in DPPH radical scavenging activity. The level of tyrosinase and matrix metalloproteinase-1 (MMP-1) in media was analyzed by ELISA kit, and the expressions of p-JNK and p-ERK was measured by Western blot. To elucidate inhibitory effects of GSO on melanin synthesis, I determined the tyrosinase activity and melanin production in B16F10 cells. Results : MMP-1 production in UVB-stimulated HDF cells was inhibited by GSO treatments, and also GSO inhibited protein expression levels of p-JNK and p-ERK. GSO significantly reduced tyrosinase activity and melanin synthesis in B16F10 cells. Conclusions : From these results, GSO appears to be effective on skin elasticity increase, wrinkle improvement, whitening as anti-aging activity.

        사회학 분야의 연구데이터 특성과 지적구조 규명에 관한 연구

        여러 학문 분야에서 데이터의 공유와 재이용에 관한 관심이 증가하고 있다. 실제로 다른 연구자의 데이터를 다시 연구에 사용하고 인용을 부여하는 관행이 서서히 자리를 잡아가고 있다. 이러한 변화를 반영하여 톰슨로이터는 Data Citation Index(DCI)라는 데이터인용 색인 데이터베이스 서비스를 2012년부터 제공하기 시작하였다. DCI는 모든 학문의 전 영역에서 데이터의 인용 현황을 저널의 논문과 유사하게 집계한다. 본 연구에서는 데이터인용이 활발한 사회학 분야의 인용된 연구데이터를 분석하여 해당 분야의 특성과 지적구조를 규명하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 논문인용을 기반으로 한 사회학 분야의 지적구조와 비교하였으며, 사회학 분야의 연구데이터의 특성과 고유한 지적구조를 살펴보고자 하였다. 분석을 위한 데이터는 두 종류로 수집하였다. 첫째는 DCI에서 'Sociology'로 주제 검색을 수행하여 총 8,365건의 인용된 데이터를 수집하였다. 둘째로, 논문 인용 분석과의 비교를 위해서 Web of Science에서 'Sociology'로 주제 검색을 수행하여 총 12,132건의 데이터를 수집하였다. 이 두 데이터를 활용하여 저자키워드 동시출현단어 분석을 수행한 결과, 데이터를 기반으로 한 사회학 분야는 2영역 15군집으로 구성된 반면, 논문을 기반으로 한 사회학 분야는 3영역 17군집으로 나타났다. 내용적인 특성을 살펴보면, 전통적으로 사회학의 지적구조를 나타낸다고 볼 수 있는 논문 기반 사회학과 달리 사회학 분야의 연구데이터는 의학 분야와의 활발한 접목을 찾아볼 수 있으며, 그 중에서도 공중보건과 심리학이 중심 영역인 것으로 나타났다. Through a wide variety of disciplines, practices on data access and re-use have been increased recently. In fact, there has been an emerging phenomenon that researchers tend to use the data sets produced by other researchers and give scholarly credit as citation. With respect to this practice, in 2012, Thomson Reuters launched Data Citation Index (DCI). With the DCI, citation to research data published by researchers are collected and analyzed in a similar way for citation to journal articles. The purpose of this study is to identify the characteristics and intellectual structure of sociology field based on research data, which is one of actively data-citing fields. To accomplish this purpose, two data sets were collected and analyzed. First, from DCI, a total of 8,365 data were collected in the field of sociology. Second, a total of 12,132 data were collected from Web of Science with a topic search with 'Sociology'. As a result of the co-word analysis of author provided-keywords for both data sets, the intellectual structure of research data-based sociology was composed of two areas and 15 clusters and that of article-based sociology was composed with three areas and 17 clusters. More importantly, medical science area was found to be actively studied in research data-based sociology and public health and psychology are identified to be central areas from data citation.

        용담초 추출물의 화장품 소재로서 약리활성에 관한 연구

        In this study, we investigated the effect of ethanol extracts from Gentianae scabrae bunge (GSB) on the activities of antioxidant, whitening and anti-inflammation. Viability of cells was measured by neutral red (NR) assay, and inhibitory effects of GSB on melanin synthesis was determined the melanin production in B16F10 cells. The expression level of matrix metalloproteinase-1 (MMP-1) in media was analyzed by ELISA kit, and nitric oxide (NO) production in RAW264.7 cells was monitored by measuring the nitrite content in culture medium. GSB showed highly efficacy in 1,1-diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazyl (DPPH) radical scavenging activity, and significantly reduced melanin synthesis in B16F10 cells. MMP-1 production in UVB-stimulated human dermal fibroblast (HDF) cells was inhibited by GSB treatments. NO production was suppressed by the treatment of GSB in LPS-stimulated RAW264.7 cells. From this results, it was indicated that GSB could be utilized as anti-aging and whitening cosmetic ingredients.

        고해상도 Bootstrapped Differential Semblance를 이용한 자동 속도분석

        효율적이고 객관적인 NMO 속도분석을 위해 사용되는 자동 속도분석의 정확성은 속도 빛띠의 속도 해상도에 많은 영향을 받는다. 본 연구에서는 고해상도 BDS (high-resolution Bootstrapped Differential Semblance)를 이용하여 속도빛띠를 구성하고, 이를 이용하여 공통 중간점 모음 별로 병렬적으로 자동 속도분석을 수행하는 모듈을 개발하였다. 또한 이 고해상도 BDS를 이용하는 자동 속도분석 모듈의 속도분석 결과를 BDS (Bootstrapped Differential Semblance)를 이용한 자동 속도분석의 결과와 비교하였다. 수평층을 포함한 속도모델로부터 얻은 합성 탄성파 탐사자료를 생성하고 이를 이용하여 개발된 모듈을 검증한 결과 본 연구를 통해 개발된 모듈이 좀 더 정확한 속도를 추정하는 것을 확인하였다. 또한 현장자료에 개발된 모듈을 적용하여 이벤트의 연속성이 향상된 공통 중간점 겹쌓기 단면을 구할 수 있는 NMO 속도를 추정하였다. The accuracy of the automatic NMO velocity analysis, which is used for an effective and objective NMO velocity analysis, is highly affected by the velocity resolution of the velocity spectrum. In this study, we have developed an automatic NMO velocity algorithm, where the velocity spectra are created using high-resolution bootstrapped differential semblance (BDS), and the velocity analysis on CMP gathers is performed in parallel with MPI. We also compared the velocity models from the developed automatic NMO velocity algorithm with high-resolution BDS to those from BDS. To verify the developed automatic velocity analysis module we created synthetic seismic data from a velocity model including horizon layers. We confirmed that the developed automatic velocity analysis module estimated velocity more accurately. In addition, NMO velocity which yielded a CMP stacked section, where the coherency of the events were improved, was estimated when the developed module was applied to a marine field data set.
