In this paper the experiments of insulation characteristics by temperature change of SF? gas and liquid SF? in model GIS(Gas Insulated Switchgear) were described. From this results, the breakdown voltage was increased with a drop of temperature and an increase of the inner pressure in model GIS. The ability of insulation in liquid SF? was higher than that of the highly pressurized SF? gas. A liquid SF? discharge characteristics was caused by bubble formed evaporation of liquid SF? and bubble caused by high electric emission. It is considered that these result are fundamental data for electric insulation design of superconductor and cryogenic application machinery which will be studied and developed in the future.

If obstacle in GIS(Gas Insulted Switchgear), its affects are great are on the community and it is consequently demanded lots of difficulities to recover and repair. Accordingly, diagnosis techniques, that are able to prevent from accidents before they happen by providing more stable and highly reliable power effectively and finding sign of the accidents is very important. A novel UHF(Ultra High Frequency)-microstrip antenna is presented. The measured impedance bandwidth of the proposed antenna is from 0.5[㎓] to 11[㎓] with the stop band from 0.5[㎓] to 1.5[㎓] for VSWR<2. Form results of this study, The antenna is will play an important role for the senser for insulation diagnosis system by UHF method of real site GIS and power equipment using SF? gas.

The ability of insulation in liquid SF? was higher than that of the highly pressurized SF? gas. A liquid SF? discharge characteristics was caused by bubble formed evaporation of liquid SF? and bubble when high voltage apply to electrode. Corona was happened to weak bubble and was proceed to new bubble breakdown.

With the improvement of industrial society, the high quality electrical energy, simplification of operation and maintenance, ensuring reliability and safety are being required. This paper reviews a basic data of the surface discharge characteristics for teflon resin in not only pure N₂, N2₂:O₂ mixture gas and Dry-Air as being focused on environmentally friendly insulating Gas also SF?. Used electrodes are Needle-Plane. We can find it, surface discharge voltages. Breakdown voltage and dielectric strength are found out and sorted. These results are getting higher as increasing the gas pressure according to the medium effect. By researching the increasing rates of breakdown voltage as following the solid dielectric thickness, it reveals that the thickness also affects the breakdown voltage. Finally, through comparing and corresponding between SF? and Dry-Air & N₂, the possibility of replacement of SF? by environmentally friendly gas is proved.

The paper used to the Neral Netwok for a forecasting conservation system A neural network is a powerful data modeling tool that is able to capture and represent complex input/output relationships. The motivation for the development of neural network technology stemmed from the desire to develop an artificial system that could perform ""intelligent"" tasks similar to those performed by the human brain. The true power and advantage of neural network lies in their ability to represent both linear and non-linear relationships and in their ability to learn these relationships directly from the data being modeled. Form results of this study, the Neral Netwok is will play an important role for insulation diagnosis system of real site GIS and power equipment using SF6 gas.

현재 산업사회의 발달과 더불어 신뢰성 높은 양질의 전기에너지와 운전 및 보수의 간편화, 계통운용의 신뢰성의 확보가 요구되고 있다. 또한 SF?을 대체할 친환경적인 절연매체의 개발이 절실히 요구되고 있다. 이에 본 연구는 모의 GIS내 친환경적인 절연재료인 질소(N₂)와 건조공기(Dry-Air)의 기본적인 절연특성을 구명함하였다. 또한 본 실험의 조건내에서 절연설계식을 도출하여 각종 전력응용 설비의 절연매체로 사용가능시 기초자료로 사용 가능할 것으로 사려된다.
