관계와 존재의 변주곡 -최상규의「함정(陷穽)」을 중심으로

The novelist Choi, Sang-Gyu had not become the center of general novel-readers and many critics becau.se his novels had unique narrative equipments and interpretive abstruseness in them. But recently, the researches about his novels gradually is accumulating up. The early story, Pitfall is a important work in respect of deep self-reflection about the human existence and the transformation motif that is the chief motif in Choi, Sang-Gyu’s novels. Moreover, Pitfall is a suitable to the comparison with The Strange Travel at Dawn, his masterpiece. The stylistic characteristic of his works is short sentense, common word and easy description, dry expression with abstract nouns, intelligent and speculative editorial discourse, soliloquy form's statement, steam of consciousness technique and so on. And Pitfall’s special style is ‘sensual image style’, it creats the fantastic space. The fantastic space, The Sea, < The Woman > and The Ship all support the hero < he >’s transformation course. The narrative structure of Pitfall is very interest and very perilous. It begins with < he > in chaotic seashore, passes through his being removed to a unidentified ship by men having never seen before, finishes by his transformation to their < department manager >. < He > insisted chat < he > was not < department manager >, but after all, < he > recepted their < department manager > in the new relationship. Like this, in Pitfall, < he > is inserted in a new relationship, the other side in The Strange Travel at Dawn, < I > is excepted from his family relationship and social relationship. Not coming up to The Strange Travel at Dawn, Pitfall shows perilous narrative structure that reveals incomplete existence of human in various relationship. According to Pitfall, the human existence is easy to being hided in hypocritical human relationship. Then, < he > recognizes changed himself. I would like to describe this situation to 'existence sinked in relationship', or ‘existence failed into a trap of relationship’. The writer warns that goodwill, convenience and power provided from this false relationship would encroach natural selfish of human. This aspect appear in the whole of Choi, Sang-Gyu's works. In conclusion, Pitfall, through transformation motif in standstilled chronotope, remind us of the meaning of real human existence that we must seek for constantly. The writer, focusing on existence, perfofms variation between relation and existence with the instrument of novel.

최상규의 「발짝소리」 서사 장치

This study starts in bringing up the concept narrative "set"(set device). This term can be used in vary meaning, but in this paper, it means the whole functional set that can prescribe a fiction for special narrative features. This term and its clearly usage, of course, isn't yet established in novel criticism. Therefore, I would try to suggest the possibility of 'set' aesthetics In investigation on narrative set, Choi, Sang-Gyu's short storty, Baljjaksoti is very useful text. In this text, the purity of Choi, Sang-Gyu fiction and aspects of peculiar narrative set are expressed. I explained in four area that aspects First, specific time through university that postpone the time in fiction. Second', vacuous conditional space of underground that is thoroughly planned. Third, the character by a function that is throwed in turn. Fourth, dichotomy in essence and form, substance and shell. The above-stated narrative features fulfil their function in Baljjaksori, that have became the narrative power in which whole story come into action. This is the why narrative set can be a kernel on the analysis of fiction. In conclusion, narrative set is fiction itself in Choi, Sang-Gyu, so that studying about it is a short cut of understanding his fictions. This, in progression, can open up a new possibility of narrative analysis.

「탁류」의 크로노토프 연구

문학 예술적 시공성인 ‘크로노토프’는 생성중인 열린 개념이다. 이유는 문학 용어로 제창한 바흐친 자신의 중의적 표현, 미결정적 문체, 그리고 번역의 문제 때문이다. 크로노토프를 바흐친의 기획과 의도의 범위 내에서 소설 비평적 도구로서 효과적으로 활용하기 위해서는 단편적 시공성 분석보다는 바흐친의 전체 소설 이론의 맥락에서 접근해야 한다. 그리고 텍스트 전체를 관장하는 결정적 토대로서 작동하는 작품을 선택해야 적절한 분석의 의미를 획득할 수 있다. 최상규의 <그날의 산행>은 여러 이유들로 잘 알려지지 않은 중편소설이지만, 크로노토프의 기획과 분석에 최적화된 텍스트이다. 이 작품을 관통하는 크로노토프는 2가지인데, ‘절정 수렴의 크로노토프’와 ‘이질 시간의 크로노토프’이다. 젊은 남녀의 하루 산행을 다루는 <그날의 산행>은 이 두 크로노토프에 의해 추동된다. 형태적/형식적으로는 산 정상까지의 여정을 관장하는 ‘절정 수렴의 크로노토프’, 그리고 산 정상에서의 펼치는 축제와 죽음의 장인 ‘이질 시간의 크로노토프’로 양분된다. 하지만 실질적/상징적으로는 두 크로노토프 모두 ‘죽음’이라는 한 최후 목표를 향하고 있다. ‘절정 수렴의 크로노토프’는 산행 여정의 시공간 이동에 따른 소설 내적 요소 혹은 지표들-폭염, 식수, 지면의 상태, 산행의 고통, 인물들의 감정과 의식, 의지 등-의 증감을 미세하고 민감하게 반영해 이야기를 이끌어간다. 시간과 공간의 동시적 상호 작용의 3차원을 미묘한 차이를 표출하며 인물의 행동이 통과한다. 극도의 고생과 의구 끝에 목적지에 도착한 후부터 인물들은 ‘이질 시간의 크로노토프’ 속으로 흡인된다. 종합적-신체적, 지형적, 물질적, 의지적-으로 산 정상에 갇힌 그들은 미증유의 사랑을 절대 순수의 시공 속에서 나누고 해방의 축제를 즐긴다. 2차례의 오수를 거치며 시간대는 물리적/보편적 흐름을 벗어나 45억 년 만에 처음으로 시간 역행의 궤도에 오른다. 중천에서 지속해 작렬하는 태양 아래 남녀는 시간 역행을 인지하고 죽음을 행한다. 이러한 순수하고 절대적인 사랑, 축제, 죽음(의지)는 걸맞는 크로노토프의 토대 없이는 재현될 수 없는 행위들이기에 이질 시간의 크로노토프는 필연적이다. 고위적 죽음은 신을 향한 전복과 해방, 죽음과 공포의 극복을 내포한 카니발적 발현이다. <그날의 산행>의 크로노토프는 작품의 본원적이고 입체적인 얼개로서 밀도와 구체성이 더해지면 특유의 소설적 풍성함이 발현된다. 역으로 크로노토프는 소설기획과 창작의 시작점이다. 크로노토프가 <그날의 산행> 정도의 결정적 역할과 입지를 담지한 작품이 크로노토프 분석의 대상이 될 수 있다. The chronotope is artistic time-space inseverable relation in literary. But, this conception that is applicated by M. M. Bakhtin had not been established yet. To make use this chronotope as a method of narrative analysis, we have to make a study it through literary context of Bakhtin and find a appropriate text. Choi Sang-gyu’s A climbing of the day is appropriate for chronotope application that contain narrative plan and narrative analysis. There are two chronotope in A climbing of the day. ‘Climax-convergence chronotope’ and ‘heterogeneity-time chronotope’ are literary control instrumention system in A climbing of the day. A climbing of the day is story that young man and young women go up a special mountain in a day. The first chronotope manages climbing course to ‘climax’ which is intercourse in mountain top, the second chronotope manages several actions in mountain top. Climax-convergence chronotope leads to total story aspects by moving time-space with subtile change of internal elements and indicators of narrative’s; heatwave, water, state of surface for climbing, suffer of climbing, emotion and consciousness, will of characters. After ultimate hardships and doubt about climbing accompanying climbing, they flow into the second chronotope, heterogeneity-time chronotope. This chronotope provides to them pure-absolute time-space suitable pure love, carnival action and death against God. Heterogeneity-time chronotope is completed with time reverse-sun running against normal track. They is isolated on a scale; physical, material, geographical, intentional. After all, they are determined to accepte natural death. The heterogeneity-time chronotope enable this pure death and carnival paradox. The chronotope of A climbing of the day is a three dimentional outline and design of literary text. It is fulfill with density and concreteness of story. Adversely, chronotope is start-point of narrative planning and creation. A climbing of the day is the most suitable text for chronotope analysis.

지역사회안전과 가출청소년보호를 위한 방안 연구

The present article broaches the issue of the significant role of the police regarding municipal safety and the protection and support of street children. The purpose of the study is to ascertain possibilities of achieving an effective and efficient collaboration of the police and the accommodations for the support and protection of street children. For this study, based on the previous research and analysis on the street children, survey on the youth accommodation employees and focus group interview were carried out. Results of the latest research reveal that there are controversies between the police and the accommodation for street children. From the point of view of the police, the street children are regarded as risk factors for the social safety whereas the workers in the accommodations consider them as victims or people for protection. The expert group consistently advances the view that introduction of an integrated support system by the government and establishment of an operation manual is urgent for interrelationship and cooperation. Based on the previous discussions in this article, to develop a municipal support system for achieving safety for the street children and a general municipal security, it requires the achievement of a consensus on the attitude towards street children on the one hand and the establishment of a specific legal basis and a manual regarding the interdepartmental collaboration, and eventually the necessity for a community support center for the street children on the other hand.

청소년의 행복에 관한 척도 개발 연구

This Purpose of the study was Development fo the Scale for Youth`s Happiness. Happiness is substantially a sociological question that needs to be approached from the viewpoint of the total goodness and harmfulness of human being, thus this investigation defines it as a concept of wellness formed through balanced and coherent harmony of internal, external and spiritual components of human beings. This investigation, first of all, suggests the relational variables of the quality of life (happiness), using comprehensive reflections on established studies on the quality of life (happiness) of the youths. By proposing the relational variables of the quality of life (happiness) based on the concept of distinguishable but inseparable formational structure-frame of the Holistic life, this investigation aims to establish the new feasible foundation for the formation of youth culture.

교육과 현대사회의 종교 -평생학습에 대한 종교사회학적 분석

Today, knowledge has become a basis and reference point for every action in society. The recently increasing interest in lifelong learning reflects this fact. In contemporary society, lifelong learning has developed into a reality that influences the individual`s life and practice in the lifeworld. This reality is changing the society`s and individuals` view of education and learning. In other words, education and learning is today being considered as a ``gospel of salvation`` or ``panacea``. By reference to Walter Benjamin`s conception of ``capitalism as religion``, this study examines the new (or evangelical) characteristics of lifelong learning. In particular, this study focuses on functional equivalence between lifelong learning and religion rather than their common substances. In so doing, this study tries to offer an opportunity to overcome inadequate and limited perspectives of lifelong learning, which are characterized by excessive expectations or negative and nihilistic views.
