        Worldwide competition for securing leadership in Artificial Intelligence(AI) technology, which is considered the key to industrial digital transformation and new growth momentum, is getting intense. However, Korea’s competitiveness in AI technology is found to be generally lagging behind that of major countries, and the fact that the introduction and utilization of AI in the industry and industrial digital transformation are generally sluggish is evidenced through several sources. Even though it is essential to find ways to enhance the technological competitiveness of industrial AI, which is AI with the purpose of use in the manufacturing industry, necessary empirical evidence is extremely insufficient in Korea. The aim of this study is to provide empirical evidence of the current status regarding the development of industrial AI in Korea and the factors affecting the technological competitiveness of industrial AI, thereby providing several policy implications. First of all, we constructed a dataset consisting of AI patents, which include industrial AI patents, applied between 2007 and 2019 and finally registered (as of July 2022) by linking patent data, government R&D project data, and corporate financial data. Then we using the dataset analyzed the status of industrial AI development, regarding government support, and the determinants of the technological competitiveness of industrial AI and found the following. First, domestic AI technology development and government support are focused on AI for general purposes rather than industrial AI. Second, the Korean government is focusing its support for AI technology development including industrial AI in terms of basic research stage rather than applied research or development stage. Third, it is necessary to expand government R&D support in terms of the development stage in order to enhance the overall competitiveness of industrial AI technology. Fourth, the need for government support centered on the development stage for industrial AI is more pronounced for small and medium enterprises. Finally, it can be effective in enhancing the technological competitiveness of industrial AI to activate technology transactions between firms in manufacturing sector and those in ICT sectors. This study comprehensively provides information and policy implications on the current status of domestic industrial AI and the determinants of its technological competitiveness by utilizing the advantages of patent data including details and potentials for linking to various sources of data. However, the results of this study depend mainly on patent data, and hence, it can be followed by studies based on comprehensively various other data sources including surveys in the future.

        Current production systems changing from mass production to small quantity production with advantages of production equipments, Accordingly, the inventories of the system has the larger effect on the operations of the systems, Therefore it is interesting to compare inventory models in accordance with business system"s environment, Fazel[l988] studied the relative in advantages of inventory polices by comparing the differences of the total cost of EOQ system and JIT system. This study compared (S, S) inventory model with JIT inventory model. The total cost of (S, S) inventory model with probabilistic demand was computed by Arena Simulation and the total cost of JIT inventory model was compared and analyzed according to the changes of the demand and leadtime. This study also compared JIT and (s, S) policy with varing unit prices when demand is increasing and leadtime is increasing.

        딴곳요관증과 요막관 잔존증 증례 보고

        An intact male, 3-month-old, Great Pyrenees mountain dog, weighing 7.3 kg with a history of severe hematuria during 2 months was referred. Hematology showed mild leukocytosis. There were no remarkable findings in abdominal radiographs due to ingesta and gas in the gastrointestinal tracts. Ultrasonographs showed bilateral hydronephrosis, bilateral dilated and tortuous ureters, and hyperechoic sludges in the urinary bladder (UB). And a dilated cavity was identified cranial to the UB. Excretory urography and cystography were performed to examine the cause of hydronephrosis and an abnormal cavity cranial to the UB. Bilateral ureters were tortuously dilated and opened into the craniodorsal part of the UB. An abnormal cavity was connected to the UB at the left cranioventral part of the UB. Therefore bilateral ectopic ureters and urachal remnant were diagnosed.

        개에서 자궁축농증과 병발한 척추원반염 1례

        Discospondylitis is an infection of intervertebral discs, associated end plates, and adjacent vertebral bodies causing destruction and proliferation. A 10-year-old intact female Rhodesian Ridgeback dog was referred to the Veterinary Medical Teaching Hospital, Seoul National University with paraparesis and severe pain at T13-L1 region for one week duration. The treatment with PDS for one week by referring veterinarian showed no clinical improvement. At time of presentation, clinical signs of the patient included depression, vaginal discharge, and fever. In T-L spine radiography, osteolytic change was found between caudal endplate of T13 and cranial endplate of L1. The affected vertebral bodies were shortened and intervertebral disc space was widened. In abdominal radiography, a dilated soft tissue opacity tubular structure was found in mid-caudal abdomen. The abdominal ultrasonography revealed the uterus dilated with echogenic fluid. The CT findings showed concentric lysis of T13-L1 endplates. The dog was diagnosed as diskospondylitis at T13-L1 and pyometra. Urine and blood were cultured, and Staphylococcus (S.) intermedius was identified. The patient had surgical treatment for pyometra but died for septicemia.

        Experimental renal artery embolization with iohexol-ethanol and barium-ethanol in dogs

        임상적으로 건강한 18두의 개에서 선택적인 삽관술을 통해 ethanol과 iohexol 합제 혹은 ethanol과 barium 합제를 이용한 신동맥 색전술을 실시하였다. Iohexol과 ethanol 합제는 1.5, 2.0 및 3.0 ml/kg을 적용하였고 barium과 ethanol 합제는 0.2, 0.4 및 0.8 ml/kg 각각 적용하였다. 검사항목으로 신기능 이상 유무의 판단 척도로서 혈청 BUN과 creatinine을 술전 및 술후 경시적으로 측정하였으며, 배설성 요로조영술을 7일째, 혈관조영술 및 조직병리학적 검사를 14일째 각각 실시하였다. 혈청 BUN 수치와 creatinine 수치는 시술 후 1일째 조영제 주입에 따른 일시적 변화로 다소 상승하였으나 전반적으로 정상 범주에 속하였다. 배설성 요로조영술 및 혈관조영술 결과 iohexol과 ethanol 합제를 사용한 1군에서는 1.5 ml/kg 용량으로 색전되지 않아 시술한 신장이 영상화되었으며 3.0 ml/kg 투여에서는 용량이 과도하여 실험동물이 폐사하였으나 2.0 ml/kg에서는 모두 색전되었다. barium과 ethanol 합제를 사용한 2군에서는 0.2 ml/kg 1두는 색전되지 않아 신장 및 요관이 영상화되었으며 0.8 ml/kg 2두는 용량 과다로 신장 주위에 X-선 비투과성 barium음영이 확인되었다. 그 중 0.4 ml/kg 3두 모두는 색전되어 신장 및 요관이 영상화되지 않았으며 색전 물질이 역류되지 않아 신장 주위에 X-선 비투과성 barium 음영도 확인되지 않았다. 색전술을 실시하고 2주 후에 신장을 적출하여 육안적으로 관찰한 결과 1군과 2군 모두 색전된 신장의 크기는 반대쪽에 비해 그 크기가 감소하였다. 이상의 결과로 iohexol과 ethanol 합제를 사용한 1군에서는 2.0 ml/kg이 barium과 ethanol 합제를 사용한 2군에서는 0.4 ml/kg이 가장 적절하였다. 모든 개는 그 용량에서 만족스런 색전 효과를 나타내었다. The present study was performed to investigate the effect of iohexol-ethanol mixture and barium-ethanol mixture on the induction of transcatheter renal artery embolization in healthy 18 dogs, which were divided into two groups of 9 dogs and the 9 dogs were divided into 3 subgroups of 3 dogs. The renal artery embolization was undertaken unilaterally with the dose of 1.5, 2.0, and 3.0 ml/kg iohexol-ehtanol mixture and with the dose of 0.2, 0.4, and 0.8 ml/kg barium-ethanol mixture. And serum chemistry on 0, 1,3, 7, and 14 days, intravenous pyelography on 7days, angiography on 14 days, and histopathology on 14 days were evaluated. Serum BUN and creatinine concentration of two groups with iohexol-ethanol mixture and barium-ethanol mixture administration were mildly increased a t 1 day after injection of embolic materials and then returned to baseline. No significant changes in BUN and creatinine levels occurred in any of dogs. In all dogs with the dose of 1.5 ml/kg iohexol-ethanol mixture, the renal arteries were not embolized. All dogs with the dose of 3.0 ml/kg died. In all dogs with the dose of 2.10 ml/kg, the treated arteries were completely occluded. In barium-ethanol mixture administered group, the renal artery in one dog with the dose of 0.2 ml/kg was not embolized. In all dogs with the dose of 0.8 ml/kg, the renal arteries were completely embolized, but loac overembolization occured in two dogs. All animals with the dose of 0.4 ml/kg had effective embolization and no evidence of radiopaque barium opacity in systemic arteries distal to the renal-artery was found. All embolized kidneys were shrunk and decreased in size in gross examination and were shown diffuse necrosis in histopathologic examination. In the present study, renal arteries were embolized with the dose of 2.0 ml/kg iohexol-ethanol mixture or 0.4 ml/kg barium-ethanol mixture. And it is considered that the dose had a satisfactory embolic effect.

      • 중국 자동차 시장의 현황과 중국 진출의 성공전략

        This study researched automobile markets in China and suggested successful strategies to advance into Chinese car markets. Chinese economy has been going through. huge progress since its opening to foreign capital at 1978. Since then production of vehicles in China sharply increased from 372 thousand to 5.707 million. Chinese government announced the car industry as a national strategic industry. In 1994, with new industry policy for car makers and joining in WTO, Chinese auto mobile market took third place only behind U S and Japan. For car makers, Chinese market is promising land. So is it to Korean car makers. It was inevitable for Korean car makers to confront with difficulties along dispersing of part factories, instability of the market economy, and unfavorable location for plants because of overcrowded existed companies. This research aimed to study how Korean car makers would successfully advance into Chinese market Studies of previous researches made four categorized strategies: industrial relations between labor and company, production, marketing, and general strategies. Relying on these four categorical strategies, Korean companies would have, and will take primary places on magnificent Chinese markets.

        개에서 발생한 간 농양의 진단 영상과 치료 증례

        A castrated male, 4-year old, Dachshund weighing 5.3 kg with an acute history of anorexia, vomiting, severe depression, and hypothermia for 1 day was referred. Severe leukopenia, mild increased hepatic enzymes, and mild imbalanced electrolyte were found on laboratory tests. There are no remarkable findings on abdominal radiographs. Ultrasonography showed multifocal heterogeneous and hypoechoic round regions in the liver. Ultrasound guided fine needle aspiration and drainage were performed and hepatic abscess was diagnosed. The patient was recovered normally without any complications through aggressive medical treatments from the result of culture and sensitivity test.

        개 비강에서 발생한 악성 흑색종의 영상 진단 증례

        A neutered male, 8-year-old, Pekingese, weighing 4.3 kg with a history of anorexia, sneezing, nasal discharge, and epistaxis for one month was referred. Soft tissue swelling around the nasal bone and small defects of the hard palate with a tiny round dark red mass were found on physical examination. The laboratory tests represented mild leukocytosis. On skull radiographs, soft tissue swelling and osteolytic change of the incisor bone, nasal bone, and maxilla were found. On computed tomography scan images, there was soft tissue attenuating opacity with calcified spots in the bilateral nasal cavities and frontal sinuses. Loss of nasal turbinate pattern and nasal septum was found. And destruction of the insicor bone, nasal bone, maxilla, hard palate, perpendicular palatine bone, and cribriform plate were identified. Nasal malignant melanoma was confirmed by nasal biopsy.

        Radiographic Evaluation of Limb Bone Development in Miniature Porcine

        미니돼지의 긴 뼈의 뼈끝(epiphysis) 성장에 대한 연구를 위해 상완골, 요골, 척골, 대퇴골, 경골의 근위 및 원위뼈끝 부위를 중심으로 방사선 촬영을 실시하였다. 실험에 이용된 미니돼지의 연령대는 4주, 8주, 12주, 20주, 40주, 48주, 96주, 144주령으로 총 58마리였다. 뼈 성장과정에 대한 평가는 Owada & Sutow가 제안한 11가지 기준을 토대로 하였다. 긴 뼈에서 이차뼈발생중심은 4주령에서 40주령까지 빠른 성장을 보였고, 그 이후 96주령까지는 초기보다 느린 성장을 보였다. 가장 빠른 뼈끝 유합시기는 96주령으로 근위 요골, 근위 및 원위 대퇴골에서 관찰되었다. 미니돼지의 일반적인 긴 뼈의 완전한 뼈끝 유합은 144주령에 나타났으며 근위 상완골, 근위 및 원위 척골, 원위 요골, 그리고 근위 경골에서 관찰되었다. Epiphyseal development in the long bones was studied radiographically in minipigs. Radiographs of the proximal and distal epiphyses of humerus, radius, ulna, femur and tibia were obtained at 4, 8, 12, 20, 40, 48, 96 and 144 weeks of age in total 58 minipigs. The assessment of maturity process was made in accordance with the criteria proposed by Owada and Sutow. The secondary ossification centers developed rapidly from 4 weeks of age to 40 weeks of age, and gradually thereafter until 96 weeks of age. The earliest epiphyseal fusion was apparent in the proximal radius, proximal and distal femur at 96 weeks of age. The complete fusion of the epiphyseal line in the long bones was evident on 144 weeks of age and was observed in most long bones such as the proximal humerus, the proximal and distal ulna and the distal radius, and the proximal tibia in minipigs.
