The Guduk Traditional Culture Center is established to meet rapidly increasing demands for the healing and self-discipline, and to create new form of tourism package which is associated with traditional Korean culture in accordance with the basic guideline of Culture-Tourism Policy of Busan in an era of 3 million foreign visitors. This center is designed to celebrate the traditional Korean culture to the visitors from both home and abroad, and allow them an opportunity to experience traditional Korean culture by providing the optimized training programs and facilities with aesthetic and artistic structures. The Korean Traditional Tea History Museum, the Traditional Tea Ceremony Exhibition Hall and the Multi-Purpose Experience Center are well designed for both tea culture program and guest accommodation. These structures are marked by the creative ideas and technologies. The well balanced combination of traditional Korean-style and Western-style is reflected to this center for harmonization with its surroundings. The beauty of Korea is projected into the space by decorating the inside with various traditional materials including roof-tile and rafter for Hanok(traditional Korean house), Hanji(traditional Korean hand-made paper), clothes and traditional patterns to express traditional Korean images. Moreover, the exhibition hall is organized with digital mediums in analog method, so that the visitors can learn and practice the tea ceremony and tradition Korean manner effectively.
