오디 생산용 뽕 품종 육성을 위한 교배모본 "팔청"의 특성

We bred a mulberry cultivar named Palcheong, through local adaptability test, which is under registration as a new cultivar for fruit production. Local adaptability test had been carried out at four places (Suwon, Kongju, Wanju, and Jinju) for seven years from 2007. This is belonging to (Morus Lhou(Ser.) Koidz.) selected among mulberry genetic resources preserved in Suwon. Its sex expression was hermaphrodite, which can be used for the production of seedling for fruit production by artificial crossing as pollen parent Palchung showed lower yielding in fruit productivity by 16% compared to control cultivar ‘Chungil (Morus alba L.)’ for five years. Although Palchung was higher in sugar content of mulberry fruits, it was bigger than that of ‘Chungil’. It is adaptable to every where except the places where cold damage and sclerotic disease happen frequently.

주로 누에사육을 위한 사료 생산용으로 이용되던 뽕나무의 용도가 다양화 되면서, 부산물로 이용되어 온 오디가 새로운 소득작목으로 정착되어 가고 있다. 이에 따라 오디 생산에 적합한 뽕 품종에 대한 수요가 늘어나고 있어, 새로운 오디용 뽕품종으로 “상마루”를 육성하여 품종 보호출원하였으며(출원번호: 2015-418)하였다. 이 품종의 육성 경위와 특성은 아래와 같다. 1. ‘상마루’는 국립농업과학원 잠사양봉소재과 수원 뽕나무 유전자원 포장에 보존되어 있던 ‘청일’ 품종의 겨울눈에 콜히친을 처리하여 4배체로 만든 계통을 ‘수원상 102호’로 명명하였다. 2. ‘수원상 102호’를 ‘08-’12년까지 3개 지역(수원, 청주 및 장성)에서 ‘청일’을 대조품종으로 하여 지역적응 시험을 하였으며, 직무 육성신품종 심의회에서 오디생산용으로 우수한 품종임이 인정되어 품종으로 보호 출원하였다. 3. ‘상마루’는 백상형(Morus alba L.)에 속하는 암나무이며, 발아개엽기는 청일뽕과 비슷한 직립성의 중생종이다. 4. 오디는 식재 후 3년차부터 결실하기 시작하였으며, 식재 후 3년차(‘10, 결실 1년차)에는 대조품종인 ‘청일’보다 14% 높은 수준을 나타내었다. 식재 후 4년차(’11, 결실 2년차)에는 7% 낮았고, 5년차(’12, 결실 3년차)부터 7년차(’14, 결실 5년차) 까지는 6 ~ 11% 높아, 시험기간 결실 5년간의 평균수량은 ‘청일’보다 6% 증수되었다. 5. 오디 한 개의 무게인 단과중은 3.8g으로 ‘청일’ 품종 2.3 g에 비하여 무거운 중과형이며, 완숙된 오디의 색상은 검은색으로, 오디의 당도는 ‘청일’보다 약간 낮다. Local adaptability test had been carried out at three places(Suwon, Chuncheon and Jinju) for four years since 2003. This is tetraploidy variety belonging to (Morus Lhou(Ser.) Koidz.) made by colchicine treatment on growing point of winter buds. Daejappong was high yielding in productivity by 3% compared to control cultivar Chungilppong for two years.The sugar contents of Daejappong was higher than that of control cultivar ``Chungilppong(Morus alba L.)``. It is adaptable to every where except the places where cold damage and sclerotic disease happen frequently.

Shimheungppong was high yielding cultivar in fruit productivity by 5% compared to control cultivar ``Chungilppong (Morus alba L.)`` for four years. Although Shimheungppong was a little lower in sugar content of mulberry fruits, it was bigger than that of Chungilppong. It is adaptable to every where except the places where cold damage and sclerotic disease happen frequently.

주로 누에사육을 위한 사료 생산용으로 이용되던 뽕나무의 용도가 다양화 되면서, 부산물로 이용되어 온 오디가 새로운 소득작목으로 정착되어 가고 있다. 이에 따라 오디 생산에 적합한 뽕 품종에 대한 수요가 늘어나고 있어, 새로운 조숙계 오디용 뽕품종으로 ‘수향’을 육성하였으며 이 품종의 육성 경위와 특성은 아래와 같다. 1. ’07∼’12년까지 수원, 공주, 완주 및 진주 4개 지역에서 ‘청일’을 대조품종으로 하여 지역적응시험을 거쳤으며, 직무 육성신품종 심의회에서 아래와 같이 오디 생산용으로 우수한 품종임이 인정되어 품종으로 보호 출원하였다. 2. ‘수향’은 국립농업과학원 잠사양봉소재과 뽕나무 유전자원 포장(수원 소재)에 보존되어 있는 계통 중 오디의 특성이 우수한 ‘조생홍피상’을 모본으로 하고, ‘개량뽕’을 부본으로 하여 교배한 계통이다. 3. ‘수향’은 백상형(Morus alba L.)에 속하는 암나무이며, 발아개엽기는 ‘청일뽕’과 비슷한 직립성의 중생종이다. 4. ‘수향’의 잎모양은 타원형으로, 오디 수확시기에 조사한 ‘수향’ 품종의 잎의 기부부분부터 잎의 정단부까지 측정한 잎의 길이는 26.7 cm, 잎의 가장 넓은 부위의 길이를 측정한 옆폭은 19.8 cm로 청일뽕보다 상대적으로 큰 편이다. 5. 오디는 식재 후 3년차부터 결실하기 시작하였으며, 식재 후 3년차(’09, 결실 1년차)에는 대조품종인 ‘청일’과 같은 수준을 나타내었다. 식재 후 4년차(’10, 결실 2년차)에는 19%, 5년차(’11, 결실 3년차) 14%, 6년차(’12, 결실4년차) 11% 높아, 시험기간 결실 4년간의 평균수량은 ‘청일’ 보다 12% 증수되는 결실성이 우수한 품종이다. 오디숙기는 ‘청일’ 보다 초숙기 기준 7일정도 빨리 수확되는 조숙계이다 6. 오디 한 개의 무게인 단과중은 2.5 g으로 ‘청일’ 품종 2.0 g에 비하여 무거운 중과형이며, 육안 관찰에 의한 완숙된 오디의 색상은 검은색으로, 오디의 당도는 ‘청일’보다 높다. Local adaptability test was carried out at four places (Suwon, Kongju, Wanju and Jinju) for six years from 2007 to 2012. This is belonging to (Morus alba L.) crossed between Josaenghongpisang (Morus alba L.) and Kaeryang (Morus alba L.) among mulberry genetic resources preserved in Suwon. Suhyang was high yielding cultivar in fruit productivity by 12% compared to control cultivar ‘Chungil (Morus alba L.)’ for four years. Although Suhyang was higher in sugar content of mulberry fruits, it was bigger than that of ‘Chungil’. It is adaptable to every where except the places where cold damage and sclerotic disease happen frequently.

We bred a mulberry cultivar named Sangberry, through local adaptability test, which is under registration as a new cultivar for fruit production. Local adaptability test had been carried out at four places(Suwon, Kongju, Jangseong and Sangju) for six years from 2005. This is tetraploidy variety belonging to(Morus alba L.) made by colchicine treatment on growing point of winter buds. Sangberry was high yielding cultivar in fruit productivity by 70% compared to control cultivar Chungilppong(Morus alba L.) for four years. Although Sangberry was a little lower in sugar content of mulberry fruits, it contains more bioactive materials like C3G, rutin and amino acids than Chungilppong. It is adaptable to every where except the places where cold damage and sclerotic disease happen frequently.
