        BK21사업 참여를 통한 대학원생의 플로리싱(Flourishing) 경험에 대한 탐구

        목적 본 연구는 BK21사업에 참여한 대학원생의 플로리싱 경험을 탐구하는 데 목적이 있다. BK21사업 참여 과정에서 대학원생이 어떠한 경험을 통해 플로리싱을 체감하는가를 이해하고 플로리싱 경험의 내용을 구체적으로 탐구하는 것이다. 방법 이러한 연구목적을 달성하기 위해 A 광역시에 위치한 C 대학 단일 BK21사업에 소속된 참여대학원생 6명을 대상으로 심층 면담을 진행하였다. 자료 분석은 Giorgi(1997)의 현상학적 분석 방법을 활용하였으며, 셀리그만의 펄마(PERMA) 이론을 토대로 해석하였다. 결과 주요 연구결과는 크게 세 가지 영역(학습활동, 교육환경, 공동체 활동)에서 플로리싱 경험의 내용이 도출되었다. 첫째, 대학원생들은 학습하는 과정에서 즐거움이라는 긍정 정서와 학업적으로 성취했을 때 플로리싱을 경험하였다. 둘째, 대학원생들은 자기 목적성을 발견할 수 있는 교육환경에서 지속해서 몰입하면서 플로리싱을 경험하였다. 셋째, 대학원생들은 공동체에 소속되어 친밀한 인간관계를 형성하고 나눔을 실천하는 과정에서 행복한 삶에 대한 의미를 발견하면서 플로리싱을 경험하였다. 결론 이러한 연구 결과는 교육의 주체인 학습자의 정서적, 심리적, 인지적, 사회적 근원을 움직일 수 있는 경험의 내용을 이해하고 진정한 플로리싱 대학 교육을 위한 기초자료를 제공하였다는 데 의의를 지닌다. Objectives The purpose of this study is to explore the flourishing experience of graduate students who partici-pated in the BK21 project. In the process of participating in the BK21 project, it is to understand what kind of expe-rience graduate students experience flourishing and to explore the contents of the flourishing experience in detail. Methods In order to achieve this research purpose, in-depth interviews were conducted with six participating graduate students belonging to a single BK21 project at C university located in A metropolitan city. For data analy-sis, the phenomenological analysis method of Giorgi (1997) was used, and Seligman's PERMA theory was analyzed. Results As for the main research results, the contents of the flourishing experience were derived in three major areas (learning activities, educational environment, and community activities). First, graduate students experi-enced positive emotions of pleasure in the process of learning and flourishing when they achieved academic achievement. Second, graduate students experienced flourishing while continuously immersing themselves in an educational environment where they could discover their own purpose. Third, graduate students experienced flourishing while discovering the meaning of a happy life in the process of belonging to a community, forming close human relationships, and practicing sharing. Conclusions These research results are significant in understanding the contents of experiences that can move the emotional, psychological, cognitive, and social roots of learners, who are the subject of education, and provid-ing basic data for true flourishing university education.

        어머니의 구강건강문해력: I. 인구사회학적 특성의 영향

        Objectives: This study aimed to examine oral health literacy (OHL) in mothers and the factors that influence it. Methods: A total of 431 mothers of preschool children were chosen as study participants using the convenience sampling method. A self-administered questionnaire was used in this study. The survey contents included the socioeconomic characteristics of the participants as well as their level of oral health literacy. Results: In total, 44.8 percent of the participants had a low level of verbal oral health literacy (0-6 grade), and 16.9 percent had a low functional oral health literacy (≤6). Educational level and family income were significantly associated with the participants’ oral health literacy (Pearson correlation). Verbal oral health literacy of the participants was related to their family’s income, whereas their functional oral health literacy was related to their educational level. Conclusions: Many of the participants had a low level of oral health literacy. For mothers, to improve their oral health literacy, an oral health literacy program must be in place. Oral health literacy programs should be targeted toward mothers with low socioeconomic status.

        성인의 구강건강문해력 및 관련 요인에 대한 연구: I. 언어적 구강건강문해력

        Objectives: The purpose of this study was to examine verbal oral health literacy and its influencing factors among adults. Methods: The subjects in this study included 760 adults who were selected by convenience sampling from the residents in the cities of Iksan and Jeonju. The data were collected from a self-reported questionnaire survey and interview. Results: As a result of testing the verbal oral health literacy of adults, 63.7 percent of subjects were deemed to be at a seventh or eighth grade level and 29.1 percent were at a fourth to sixth grade level according to the REALM. The dental term that was the most elusive for the adults was ``eruption``, followed by ``apicoectomy``, ``cavity``, ``inlay`` and ``fistula``. Verbal oral health literacy was related to education level, gender, and family income. Conclusions: The level of oral health literacy was low in many adults. Therefore, easy language should be used as much as possible when oral health education materials are prepared. Furthermore, the development of effective oral health education programs is urgently required in order to improve the oral health literacy of adults.

        한국어 교육에서 ‘만큼’의 형태 및 의미 선정을 위한 연구

        본 연구는 한국어 학습자들이 다양한 형태적, 의미적 유형으로 분류되는 ‘만큼’의 제시에 일관성과 체계성이 필요하다고 보고 그 대표 형태와 의미 선정에 목표를 두고 있다. 이러한 연구를 위해 다양한 자료 분석이 필요하다고 보고 기존 연구와 한국어 교육용 사전그리고 한국어 교재를 분석하여 ‘만큼’ 항목의 제시 단계와 형태적 제시 방법을 확인하였다. 그결과 ‘만큼’의 유형이 단계적으로 제시되지 않아 위계화가 제대로 이루어지지 않았고, 형태적제시에서도 문법 표기 유형에 일관성이 없거나 ‘만큼’과 ‘만치’의 이형태 수반 문법 항목 배열순서를 고려하지 않고 제시하는 문제가 드러났다. 또한 문법 형태 제시에서 부호나 선행 요소표시 부분에서도 통일성이 없는 것으로 드러났다. 그리고 같은 유형의 문법 형태임에도 교재에는다른 의미로 설명되어 있거나 지나치게 많은 의미가 노출되는 문제도 나타났다. 또 노출된 용례와의미 설명 부분이 일치하지 않는 문제도 드러났다. 이러한 내용을 바탕으로 ‘만큼’을 크게 네유형으로 나누고 하위 항목을 설정하여 그에 맞는 의미를 선정하여 제시하였다. 본 연구는 한국어에 직관이 없는 한국어 학습자들이 정확성을 갖춘 ‘만큼’의 형태적 유형과의미 변별을 활용하여 문맥에 따라 사용까지 확장할 수 있게 한다는 데 의의가 있다. The purpose of this study is to determine that Korean learners need consistency and systematicity to present mankeum which is classified into various morphological and semantic types, and to select a representative form and meaning of mankeum. Therefore, previous studies, Korean education dictionaries, and Korean language textbooks were analyzed to confirm the presentation stage and morphological presen tation method of mankeum. As a result, the hierarchization was not made correctly since the hierarchy was not presented step by step, such that the grammatical notation was inconsistent in the morphological presentation, or the order of grammatical item arrangements involving two forms of mankeum and manchi was not considered. In addition, it was found that there was no uniformity in the sign or the indication of the preceding element in the grammatical form presentation. Also, there was a problem of describing different meanings in the textbook or highlighting too many meanings in the same type of grammatical form. Another issue was that the textbook described different meanings even in the same type of grammar or provided too many meanings. Furthermore, the descriptions of the examples and meanings did not match. Based on the above, mankeum was divided into four types, and sub-items were set to select the appropriate meanings. This study is significant in enabling Korean language learners who do not have intuition in Korean language to expand their use of mankeum according to context by utilizing morphological types and semantic discriminations with accuracy.

        성인의 구강건강문해력과 구강건강관련 삶의 질의 관계

        Objectives: The purpose of this study was to assess the impact of oral health literacy on oral healthrelatedquality of life (OHRQoL). Methods: Self-administered questionnaires were handed out to 760 adults above the age of 18 selectedthrough convenience sampling. Among them, those above 60 years of age were also interviewedface-to-face. The Rapid Estimate of Adult Literacy in Dentistry (REALD-99) and the Test of FunctionalHealth Literacy in Dentistry (TOFHLiD) were used to measure verbal and functional oral health literacyrespectively. OHRQoL was measured using the oral health impact profile-14 (OHIP-14), a simplified versionof the oral health impact profile (OHIP). The sociodemographic characteristics (gender, age, maritalstatus, education level, and income) were also recorded. Higher scores on oral health literacy representedhigher levels of literacy, while higher OHIP-14 scores implied that the OHRQoL was lower. Results: During analyses, the sample was stratified into the top and bottom 25% based on functionaloral health literacy levels. OHRQoL had a statistically significant negative correlation with functionaloral health literacy. The items on functional limitation, physical disability, social disability, and handicapspecifically showed negative correlations. Multiple regression analysis was performed after includingsociodemograhic variables also. Only functional and not verbal oral health literacy had a statisticallysignificant influence on OHRQoL. The higher the functional oral health literacy level, the higher was theOHRQoL. Conclusions: Enhancement of functional oral health literacy level through oral health education is necessaryto improve the OHRQoL.

        전라북도 일부 지역 성인의 구강건강 문해력 및 관련 요인에 대한 연구; II. 기능적 구강건강 문해력

        Objectives: The purpose of this study was to examine the functional oral health literacy and its influencing factors among adults. Methods: The subjects were 760 adults living in the cities of Iksan and Jeonju. A survey was conducted among 18-59-year-olds. Adults who were 60 years of age or older were also selected by convenience sampling and interviewed. Results: In total, 36 percent of the adults tested on functional oral health literacy scored a seven or less on our survey, indicating that their functional oral health literacy was inadequate. Functional oral health literacy was related to age, educational level (especially, low levels of math) and family income. Conclusions: Many adults have poor functional oral health literacy. Therefore, improvement programs for oral health literacy for adults need to be developed, taking into account their social characteristics.

        어머니의 아동에 대한 치과의료 방임과 그 연관요인

        Objectives: The purpose of this study was to determine the level of dental neglect in mothers and their children and to analyze the factors that were associated with it. Methods: The subjects included in this study were 431 mothers with preschool children. The participants were given a self-report questionnaire for the study. The survey collected data on sociodemographic characteristics and dental neglect. For dental neglect, the Adelaide dental neglect scale was used for measurement. Results: The percentage of mothers with a high level (≥15 points) of dental neglect was 52.7%. In terms of dental neglect in mothers and their children, 37.1% showed feeding of snacks before and after meals, followed by postponement of dental treatment for mothers at 22.8%, and dental treatment postponed due to children 21.7%. The demographic factors affecting the mother’s dental neglect were found to be age of the mother, whether the mother was employed or not, and household income. The lower was the age of the mother, the higher was the level of dental neglect. In addition, when mothers had jobs, dental neglect was high, and the lower was the household income, the higher was the level of dental neglect. Conclusions: The level of dental neglect for mothers and their children was found to be high. Thus, this should be considered in the design of national oral health promotion strategies for children. In addition, the importance of dental neglect should be emphasized.

        간호사의 주사바늘자상 예방행위관련 변인들 간의 구조모형 분석

        Purpose: This study was conducted to determine the factors affecting the prevention of needle stick injury. Methods: Data collection was conducted during the period July 15-31, 2013 by a self-administered questionnaire involving 220 nurses working in 7 hospitals. The data was analyzed by SPSS v18 and AMOS v18. Results: Actions by nurses to prevent needle stick injury were directly and indirectly influenced by perceived benefits, attitude toward the behavior, perceived behavioral control, and intention underlying the behavior. Specially, perceived behavioral control is verified to have not only direct influence but also indirect influence on the performance of preventive action through the intention underlying the behavior. Also, perceived benefits indirectly influence the intention toward the behavior and performance of preventive action through attitude toward the behavior and perceived behavioral control. The predictor variables in this model are 52% explicable in terms of intention of prevention action against needle stick injury, and 66% explicable in terms of performance of preventive action. Conclusion: To ensure high performance of preventive action against needle stick injury, constructing not only the solution that inspires the intention toward behavior but also a system that can positively solve and improve obstructive factors in behavioral performance is of primary importance.

        우리나라 일부 치과의사의 직무분주도와 그 관련 요인

        Objectives: This study investigated the busyness of dentists and analyzed factors related to busyness in these professionals. Methods: The subjects were 243 practicing dentists. Surveys were carried out via mail. Busyness was measured by using the Mumma scale. The data were analyzed using the Kruskal-Wallis test. Results: The dentists` busyness index was 1.91. Of the participants, 40% of practicing dentists wanted more patients, 30.8% did not overwork but did not want more patients, and 27.1% overworked and did not want more patients. The busyness index was significantly related to the number of dental hygienists and dentists. However, it did not differ with respect to the number of assistant nurses. Conclusions: The busyness index should be considered when developing relevant human resource plans.

        우리나라 일부 청소년의 구강질환으로 인한 활동제한실태 및 구강보건행태와의 연관성

        Objectives: The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between restricted activity due to oral diseases and oral health behaviors among adolescents. Methods: A cross-sectional study design was used. The subjects were 238 middle school students and 231 high school students; a total of 469 students from 15 different schools located in 7 regions of Bucheon in Gyeonggi Province, Daejeon, and others. The adolescents who participated in the survey were chosen by convenience sampling. The association between restricted activities due to oral diseases and oral health behaviors was analyzed using multiple logistic regression analysis. Results: The annual experience rate of oral diseases stood at 1.4 percent, while the number of days absent and early departures from school was 0.15 days per student. The rate of middle school students who were disturbed by oral disease with respect to sleep, eating, speaking, and/or schoolwork was 33.1 percent. In high school students, it was 40.6 percent. Dental pain and gingival bleeding were identified as major factors to the restriction of activities, and being disturbed while eating was related to cariogenic beverages. Conclusions: It would be of great social interest to support and promote oral health programs among adolescents. Therefore, a national survey of the status of activity restrictions due to oral diseases in adolescents should be implemented in order to make specific future plans.
