『햄릿』의 첫째 배우의 대사

모방의 두 양식인 연극과 이야기 사이의 상호 작용이 희곡 햄릿』에서 자주 직접성이라는 강력한 상황을 만든다는 가정 아래, 이 논문은 첫째 배우의 대사의 특성과 이것이 자신의 부친의의 죽음을 복수하려고 애쓰는 햄릿에게 주는 영행을 검토하고자 한다. 본 논문을 통하여 극 중의 이야기들 중에서 “Aeneas's talk to Dido” (II.ii.406-456)에 대한 첫째 배우의 대사가 극의 중심적 순간에 나타타나며, 그리고 그는 자신의 비탄에 대한 어떠한 동가가 없음에도, 그가 전달하는 내용에 대해 감정이입의 몰입 상태를 보인다는 점을 알게 되었다. 그리고 배우의 이 구절이 햄릿의무위와 그가 등장하는 장면의 비활동성 을 함께 설명한다는 점도 발견하였다. 그리고 본 논문은 “O, what a rogue and peasant slave am I” (II.ii.485)로 시작하는 햄릿의 두 번째 독백은 단순히 배우의 대사에 대한 반응이 아니라, 그 자신과 배우 사이에 형성된 복잡한 관계는, 햄릿이 드러낼 수 없는 자신의 내적 고통을 지적함 것처럼, 그의 마음 속 비탄을 간절히 드러내려는 햄릿의 갈망의 암시라는 결론을 얻게 되었다. On the assumption that it is the interplay between these two modes of mimesis, drama and narrative, which often creates a powerful vision of immediacy in Hamlet, this paper tries to examine the characteristics of the First Player's speech ((II.ii.406-456) and its effect on Hamlet struggling to follow Pyrrhus' revenge of his father's murder. The essay finds that Hamlet manifests a fascination with narrative, that is, narrating the visual more intensely. And it argues that among the play's narratives the First Player's speech about “Aeneas's talk to Dido” (II.ii.406-456) emerges at a pivotal moment of the play, and yet the Player does not have any external motivation for his lament, but he exhibits the kind of empathetic engagement with his material. And it finds that the passage of narrative comments upon both Hamlet's inactivity, provides a fictional analogue for Hamlet's own situation, and the inactivity of the scene in which it appears. And the essay understands that Hamlet's extraordinary second soliloquy beginning with “O, what a rogue and peasant slave am I” (II.ii.485) is not simply a response to the Player's speech, but rather an indication of Hamlet's longing to display his grief imitating an imitation of hid grief. And finally it comprehends that the complex relationship which Hamlet sets up between himself and the Player creates a compelling illusion of immediacy, as Hamlet points towards an authentic inner suffering that cannot be shown.

『헨리 5세』(King Henry V)에서 1막 1장과 2장의 의미

본 논문은 셰익스피어의 『헨리 5세』의 1막 1장과 장에 연관된 다음의 두 의문에 대한 집중적인 논의를 하고자 한다. 첫째 셰익스피어는 왜 불란서와 전쟁에 관한 공식적인 논의와 전쟁의 정당화를 위하여 마련된 공간인 1막 2장이 아니라, 왕으로부터 교회의 재산을 압류당하는 것을 막기 위한 방법을 숙고하는 고위 성직자들의 등장으로 극을 시작하는가? 그리고 둘째 셰익스피어는 왜 불란서 왕위에 대한 헨리 왕의 권리에 대한 명석한 주장을 캔터베리 대주교가 전적으로 하게 만드는가? 위의 질문에 대한 논의를 통하여 영국의 헨리 5세가 대다수의 등장인물이 알지 못하게 1막 1장과 2장을 조직하고, 지휘하며, 성직자를 자신의 계획에 재정적, 법적 그리고 도덕적 기여를 하도록 유도하며, 1막 2장에서 대주교가 살리 법을 교묘하게 무효화시켜, 헨리 왕이 불란서 옥좌에 대해 주장할 족보상 근거로 제시하는 것을 보았다. 또한 대주교의 연설이 애매하고, 정황하며, 전쟁을 정당화하는 유일한 주장임에도 불구하고, 그것으로 군주로서 헨리 왕의 성격을 인식하는데 긴요하다는 것을 알게 되었다. 우리는 또한 헨리 왕의 영웅적, 애국적 행위 이면에 그의 교활한 면모가 존재함을 알게 되었다. 헨리 왕은 불란서 옥좌에 대해 합법적 주장을 할 수 없음을 알지만, 대담하게 그것을 합당한 전쟁의 수사적 구성을 확고히 하는데 성공하고, 그러한 근거에서 불란서에 전쟁을 선포한다. 그리고 교회의 재산을 지키기 위하여 왕에게 교회의 기금과 불란서를 공격할 정당한 근거에 대한 도덕적, 법적 확인에 전략을 기울이는 대주교의 위선적 모습을 보게 됨으로서, 헨리 5세에 비판적 해석을 할 부분이 있음을 알게 되었다. 그리고 마지막으로 셰익스피어가 『헨리 5세』에서 정당한 전쟁이라는 담화를 강조함으로서, 이 전쟁의 불분명하다고, 위선적 면을 강조하고, 동시에 그것이 기초하는 권위를 의심케 한다는 점을 인식하게 되었다. On the assumption that Act 1 scene 1 and 2 of Henry V are indispensable for fuller unpretending of King's Henry's seemingly prudent and yet guileful, warlike character, and that they are requisite to understand the truer nature of the prelates whose primary concern is the wealth of church and its power, and that from the outset Henry's will to attack France is firm and strong, and so the war with France is predestined and inevitable, this paper tries to examine the conversation of the prelates in I. i. and the Archbishop of Canterbury's speech and King Henry's masterful strategy to have the righteous cause for the war with France in I. ii. The essay perceives that the bishops see war as a welcome distraction from political plans to deprive church revenue, and that they make every effort to make secure the church property by providing the king with funds and a moral and legal validation of just cause. And the essay understands that the archbishop's speech whose disquisition is an ingenious dismissal of the Salic law in Act I scene ii is offered as the genealogical basis of Henry's claim to the French throne. And the essay discovers that in spite of the criticisms that the speech is ambiguous and prolix, and id the only justification of the war in the play, and the anomaly of the king's making war, it is indispensable for the complete recognition of Henry's character as Henry as a king. And it finds that neither the text itself nor the political context of the composition will allow Henry V be read as a textbook of a just-war doctrine, yet King Henry successes in securing the rhetorical construction of a just war and in that basis declares war to France. And finally Shakespeare foregrounds just-war discourse in Henry V only to reveal ambiguous and hypocritical character of the war and question the authorities on which it depends.

브레너의 헨리 5세

브래너의 영화 헨리 5세에 대한 본 논문은 셰익스피어 영화사에서 이 영화가 지니는 중요성을 알아내고, 그리고 영화기 지니는 현대성을 탐구하고자 한다. 본 논문은, 영화 속의 중요한 사건들에 초점을 두고, 그것의 본질적 측면을 중점적으로 검토하며, 동시에 외적 요소도 다룬다. 이 연구를 통하여, 우리는 이 영화를 완전하게 이해하게 되었고, 영화의 분위기는 암울하며, 잔인하고, 헨리 왕은 영웅적이며 동시에 인간적 나약함을 드러내며, 그리고 이로 인해 그와 그의 병사들이 형제애로 결합되었음을 알게 되었다. The purpose of this essay on Branagh's Henry V is to find out its importance in the history of Shakespearean movies, and also to explore the modernity of the film, which helps to impress the modern audience. Focusing on the major incidents of the film, the essay tries to examine its essential aspects, and also probe into the external elements such as closeups, flashbacks and music by Doyle. Through this study of Branagh's Henry V, we can come to have a comprehensive and thorough understanding of the film. The findings of the essay are that the general atmosphere of the film is darker and bloody than the original play by Shakespeare. And it finds that King Henry appears to be heroic as well as weak to shed tears or fall from his horse, and that the film accentuates his solidarity with his soldiers are the cores of film.

Purpose: Since 2012, acetaminophen can be accessed easily not only at pharmacies but also at convenience stores. The relationship between the easy access of acetaminophen and the risk of poisoning has been controversial. Several studies also reported different results regarding the risk of acetaminophen poisoning after access to acetaminophen was relaxed. This study examined the long-term effects on the risk of acetaminophen poisoning after easy access to acetaminophen was implemented. Methods: This was a retrospective analysis of an emergency department (ED)-based in-depth Injury Surveillance Cohort by the Korea Center for Disease Control and prevention from 2011 to 2018. Poisoning cases were selected from the Cohort, and the incidence of acetaminophen poisoning and the characteristics of the cases of acetaminophen poisoning were analyzed. The purchase path and the amount of ingestion in acetaminophen poisoning were sub-analyzed from data of six EDs. Results: Of 57,326 poisoning cases, 4.0% (2,272 cases) were acetaminophen poisoning. Of 2,272 cases of acetaminophen poisoning, 42.8% (974 cases) required in-patient care after ED management. Two hundred and sixty-four of these 964 cases required intensive care. The rates of cases that required in-patient treatment and the rates of cases that required intensive care increased from 29.4% in 2011 to 48.1% in 2018, and from 3.1% in 2011 to 15.2% in 2018, respectively (p<0.001, p<0.001). In the poisoning group with in-depth toxic surveillance (n=15,908), the incidence and proportion of acetaminophen (AAP) poisoning increased from 55 cases per year to 187 cases per year and 4.9% to 6.1%, respectively (p=0.009, p<0.001, respectively). The most common age group of acetaminophen poisoning was teenagers, which is different from the most common age group of other pharmaceutical agents: the middle age group of 40-49 years (p<0.001). Of 15,908 in-depth toxic surveillance patients, 693 patients had AAP poisoning, of whom 377 cases (54.2%) purchased acetaminophen from a non-pharmacy. The proportions of the purchase path from non-pharmacy were 41.4% at 2011-12 and 56.4% (2013-18) (p=0.004). The amount of acetaminophen ingestion was 13.5±14.3 g at 2011-12 and 13.9±15.1 g at 2013-18 (p=0.794). Conclusion: Although the incidence of acetaminophen poisoning did not increase remarkably in the short term after the implementation of the new regulation, the incidence of acetaminophen poisoning has increased slightly during the study period of 2017-18. In addition, the proportion of the purchase path from non-pharmacies has increased since the emergence of new regulations for the easy access of acetaminophen in 2012. The incidence of acetaminophen poisoning might have been affected after the increasing accessibility of acetaminophen in convenience stores. Continuous control of acetaminophen poisoning is required. Furthermore, the prevention of acetaminophen poisoning should be focused on teenagers with specialized school education programs.

Plutarch와 셰익스피어의 Caesar와 Brutus

플루타르크는 카이사르의 명성이 지닌 권능을 인정하지만, 그의 과도한 야망이 그의 몰락을 가져왔다는 입장을 확고히 보인다. 플루타르크는 카이사르의 행위가 공정하게 징계 받는 시점과 운명이 그를, 그가 죽은 후에도, 지지하였다는 사실을 구별한다. 그리고 그는 카이사르가 부패하지만 관대한 반면 브루투스에게 도덕적 우월성을 부여한다. 셰익스피어는 작품의 세부 사항 중 많은 것을 플루타르크에서 가져오며, 그의 서술적 기술과 대조적으로 극적 전개에 사용하였다. 셰익스피어는 공포의 분위기를 고조시켜 극적 효과를 얻는다. 그리고 셰익스피어는 상이한 줄거리는 택하여 특별한 강조를 한다. 그는 플루타르크가 분리시킨 것을 훌륭하게 결합시킨다. 로마의 이교도적 세계가 셰익스피어에게 자신의 비극이나 사극에서는 얻기 어려웠을 도덕적 해방감을 주었을 것이다. The paper finds that Plutarch acknowledges the power of Caesar's fame. he is determined that original judgment about his downfall (i. e. that he was too ambitious) should stand. Through this study I become aware of the fact that Plutarch distinguishes between the point Caesar's conduct was rightly castigated and the fact that fortune in some sense nearly always favoured him, after his death. And I come to know that Plutarch finds Caesar to be corrupt, though generous, while he accords the moral superiority of Brutus. The essay notices that Shakespeare derives some of its detail clearly from Plutarch. an effect mainly of dramatic as compared to Plutarch's narrative exposition. And that Shakespeare heightens the mod of fear, a natural enough dramatic effect, to appreciate how close Shakespeare to Plutarch. This essay finds that in Shakespeare different arguments produce a different emphasis and that Shakespeare seamlessly fuses together elements which Plutarch keeps separate. and that we can understand that the circumstances of a pagan Rome give him an ethical freedom.

In this study, the ways of calculating the efficiency of ball screws are presented to fix the design variables effectively. To calculate the efficiency of ball screws, the frection coefficient is needed to be deduced. Therefore it is deduced measuring the preload torque of double nut ball screws of which the preload can be varied by springs. The efficieny of ball screws and the mazimum efficiency condition are calculated with the deduced friction coefficient. In addition, the characteristic of friction and lubrication is considered.
