히스토그램을 이용한 기계부품용 소재에서 발생된 마멸입자의 분포 특성

It necessarily follows that wear particles are generated through a friction and wear in a mechanical moving system. The wear particles are relative to the failure and the life of machine elements directly. To analyze the wear particle, its shape characteristics were calculated quantitative values such as diameter, roundness and fractal parameters by digital image processing. In this study, the histograms of shape parameters of wear particles were used for the purpose of analyzing the distribution of wear particles in various conditions. We consider that the histogram of shape parameter can be effectively represented to study a wear mechanism.

The power servo cylinder for driving accurately turbine stop valve of an atomic power plant is necessary to do turn-over owing to a leakage of oil and a structure problem, especially, it of a power plant be in demand a high quality standard depends entirely on import. There are much problem that the AlBC be to used as a material of piston head in cylinder are caused by wear. Therefore, it is necessary to examine friction characteristics of it. In this study, wear test experiments was carried out with AlBC and SCM440, using reciprocating friction tester of pin on disk. This result was shown that the wear mechanism of AlBC on working condition is adhesive wear and the maximum temperature of infra redray thermal image of frictional surface show over 2 ㎜ from contact surface of pin and disk.

유압 서보실린더의 동합금 피스톤 헤드와 부시의 마멸특성에 관한 실험적 연구

Hydraulic servo cylinders have been used to control accurately a large machine in power plant. Especially, Piston head and bush of servo cylinder is assembled sleeve and piston head and bush made of Cu alloy and pad sealing part. A damages of sleeve and piston head, bush are caused by friction and wear. Thus, It is necessary to examine friction and wear characteristics of Cu alloys for the piston head and bush. In this study, to be reliable on the piston and cylinder parts, dry friction and wear experiments were carried out with Cu alloys of four kinds of AlBC, PBC, BC and BS using reciprocating friction tester of pin on disk type. From this study, the result was shown that the AlBC and PBC with alloy elements were excellent to resistance wear. As the sliding speed was increased, the wear loss of PBC decreased than another Cu alloy.
Analysis of Shape Characteristics of Wear Particles with Fractal Parameters

The fractal dimension aims to quantitatively define the irregular characteristics of the shape in nature. It can be useful in describing morphological characteristics of various wear particles. This paper was undertaken to diagnose failure condition for sliding members in lubrication using fractal dimension. The experiments were undertaken to analyze the shape of wear particles and to diagnose failure condition for sliding members in lubrication using the image processing and the fractal parameters. It was possible to diagnose wear mechanism, friction, and damage state of machines through analysis of shape characteristics for wear particle in driven condition using fractal parameters.
