This paper puts an in-depth study on the status of college life of first-year students from A university intending to promote understandingand adaptation and enhance welfare and campus life guidance for students through improving the quality of psychological counseling programs andprograms to encourage career exploration and self-development. A total of 543(27.6%) out of 1,966 first-year students from A universityparticipated in the questionnaire for this study. Firstly, 57.7% of first-year students had chosen A university as the second priority, and they obtainedadmission information from the university website. Secondly, 30.5% of first-year students have worked as part-time workers and answered that the most crucial thing in college life is managing academic performance and GPA. Thirdly, it revealed that the impression for a university and pride from first-year students was in the early 40~60%, and the satisfaction of supporting services was in the early20~30%. Fourthly, it turned out that they are facing various types of difficulties in their college life due to COVID-19, and 20% to 30% of students have thought of taking a year off, dropping out, and getting transferred. This reality suggests that academic and career-related counseling fromsupervising professors is required to help them settle down on campus inthe early stages of college life and functions of the student counselingcenter to implement a wide range of activities for enhancing mental healthand campus life
Design Optimization of Hybrid-Integrated 20-Gb/s Optical Receivers

This paper presents a 20-Gb/s optical receiver circuit fabricated with standard 65-nm CMOS technology. Our receiver circuits are designed with consideration for parasitic inductance and capacitance due to bonding wires connecting the photodetector and the circuit realized separately. Such parasitic inductance and capacitance usually disturb the high-speed performance but, with careful circuit design, we achieve optimized wide and flat response. The receiver circuit is composed of a transimpedance amplifier (TIA) with a DC-balancing buffer, a post amplifier (PA), and an output buffer. The TIA is designed in the shunt-feedback configuration with inductive peaking. The PA is composed of a 6-stage differential amplifier having interleaved active feedback. The receiver circuit is mounted on a FR4 PCB and wire-bonded to an equivalent circuit that emulates a photodetector. The measured transimpedance gain and 3-dB bandwidth of our optical receiver circuit is 84 dBΩ and 12 GHz, respectively. 20-Gb/s 231−1 electrical pseudo-random bit sequence data are successfully received with the bit-error rate less than 10−12. The receiver circuit has chip area of 0.5 mm × 0.44 mm and it consumes excluding the output buffer 84 mW with 1.2-V supply voltage.
COVID-19의 영향으로 인한 공업계 특성화 고등학교의 방과후학교 운영 실태 분석

이 연구는 공업계 특성화 고등학교의 2018년~2020년 사이 방과후학교 운영실태를 분석하여 방과후학교의 주요 현황, 운영 성과, 문제점 등의 실태를 분석하고자 한다. 그리고 2020년은 COVID-19의 영향으로 많은 공업계 특성화 고등학교에서 방과후학교가 운영되지 못했는데, 이에 대한 대안을 제시하는 데 목적이 있다. 연구를 위하여 2018년~2020년 학교알리미 공개용 데이터 분석, 선행연구, 방과후학교 운영 길라잡이 등의 문헌분석을 하였다. 공업계 특성화 고등학교의 방과후학교는 초・중・일반고의 방과후학교처럼 교과, 특기・적성 프로그램 외에 직업교육, 자격증 프로그램 등이 더 있다. COVID-19의 영향으로 2019년 대비 운영된 프로그램 수는 43.9%, 방과후학교 참여 학생 수는 37.9% 수준으로 운영되었다. 공업계 특성화 고등학교의 방과후학교는 COVID-19가 단기간에 종식되지 않으리라고 예측되어 기존의 대면 방식보다 비대면 방식의 프로그램 개발과 보급의 필요성이 더욱 커지고 있다. This study intends to analyze the actual operational conditions including main situation, performance and problems of after-school programs of technical specialized high school between 2018 and 2020. It, also, aims to provide an alternative as many technical specialized high schools failed to operate after-school programs due to COVID-19 in 2020. For this study, the analysis on public data of school notification from 2018 to 2020, prior research and the literature analysis on the operation guidelines for after-school program were conducted. The after-school program of technical specialized high school includes vocational education and certificate program in addition to subjects and specialty & aptitude program in the after-school programs of elementary, middle and general high school. Under the influence of COVID-19, the number of after-school programs operated was about 43.9% and that of students who took part in the programs was about 39.9% compared to 2019. The necessity of developing and deploying non-face-to-face approach of after-school program of technical specialized high school is growing more than conventional face-to-face one as COVID-19 would not be expected to come to an end in a short period.

근간에 기능성 소화불량증의 증상 양상에 따른 병태생리에 대한 새로운 개념의 정립으로 멀지 않은 시기에 우수한 치료법이 개발될 것으로 기대된다. 하지만 현재의 치료는 증상에 따라서 위장관 운동 촉진제와 위산 분비 억제제의 경험적인 사용이 전부인 상태이다. H.pylori 감염과 기능성 소화불량증의 강한 연관 관계 가 입증되지 않았지만, 서구에서는 경제적인 측면을 고려한 우선적인 제균치료가 위내시경검사를 우선한다. 우리나라와 같이 위암의 빈도가 높고, H. pylori 감염율이 높으며 항생제 내성이 문제가 되는 경우는 우선적으로 위내시경검사를 해서 기질적인 소화불량증을 배제하는 것이 바람직하다. 일정 기간의 경험적 약물 치료에 반응이 없는 난치성 소화불량증의 치료는 더욱 어렵다. 식이 요소에 대해 주의를 환기시키고, 보다 강력 한 약물의 사용이나 복합 처방 및 새로운 약물들을 사용하며, 정신과 의사와의 협진 및 허브나 민간 요법을 고려한다.
上部胃腸管出血과 下部腸管出血에서의 BUN/Creatinine Ratio의 比較

To evaluate the relationship between BUN/creatinine ratio and sites of gastrointestinal bleeding, to investigate the mechanism of high BUN level in gastrointestinal bleeding. I reviewed 228 cases (UGI 189 cases, LGI 39 cases) of acute gastrointestinal hemorrhage. The results were follows: 1. In the sites of bleeding, upper parts were involved more 5 times than lower parts. 2. The causes of upper gastrointestinal bleeding were gastric ulcer(29.6%), esophageal varix(24.3%), hemorrhage gastritis(14.3%), duodenal ulcer(11.1%), stomach cancer(8.5%), Mallory-Weiss syndrome(4.8%) and others(7.4%). 3. The causes of lower gastrointestinal bleeding were colon cancer(13%), ulcerative colitis(10.3%), hemorrhoid(10.3%), intestinal tuberculosis(7.6%), malignant lymphoma(5.1%), diverticulitis(5.1%), colon polyp(5.1%), typhoid enteritis(5.1%), bacillary dysentery(5.1%), hemorrhagic colitis(5.1%), vascular malformation(5.1%), others(10.3%) and unknown causes(13%). 4. The BUN/creatinine ratio were significantly high in UGI bleeding than LGI bleeding at same hemoglobin levels. 5. High level of BUN/creatinine ratio(above 20) were noticed in 64% of UGI bleeding and 2.6% of LGI bleeding(1/39 cases). 6. The mechanism of increased BUN levels in gastrointestinal bleeding was considered chiefly high urea formation in liver by intestinal nitrogen overload.
