        임플랜트로 수복된 하악 구치부에 대합되는 자연치 주변의 골변화

        Statement of problem: Alteration of tooth function is assumed to be changed by stress/strain on the adjacent alveolar bone, producing changes in morphology similar to those described for other load-bearing bones. When teeth are removed, opposing teeth will not be functioned. When edentulous area is restored by implant prostheses, opposing teeth will be received physiologic mechanical stimuli. Purpose: The aim of this study was to evaluate the bone changes around the teeth opposing implant restoration installed mandibular posterior area. Material and method: Eight patients who had mandibular posterior edentulous area were treated with implants. Radiographs of the opposing teeth were taken at implant prostheses delivery(baseline), 3 months, and 6 months later. Customized film holding device was fabricated to standardize the projection geometry for serial radiographs of opposing teeth. Direct digital image was obtained. Gray values of region of interest at each digital image were measured and compared according to time lapse. Repeated measured analysis of variance and post-hoc Scheffe's test were performed at the 95% significance level. Results: Alveolar bone changes around the natural teeth opposing the posterior implant in mandible showed statistically significant difference compared to control group(P<0.05). And gray values of alveolar bone around the teeth opposing implants were increased. There were no statistically significant differences of alveolar bone changes between crestal group and middle group and between mesial group and distal group according to time lapse(P>0.05). There were no statistically significant differences of alveolar bone changes among mesial-crestal group, mesial-middle group, distal-crestal group, distal-middle group, and control group(P>0.05). Conclusion: Alveolar bone around the natural teeth opposing the implant prosthesis showed gradual bony apposition.

        국방획득사업의 성과평가지표 개발에 관한 실증적 연구

        본 연구는 국방획득사업의 성과평가를 위한 성과평가지표를 BSC관점에서 개발하는데 있다. 공공부문의 BSC적용에 대한 선행연구자료와 국방획득관련 법규 및 전문가의 의견을 종합하여 국방획득사업의 전략목표 달성을 위한 성과평가지표들을 BSC관점에서 정리하고, 설문을 통해 성과평가지표들의 적합성과 관점간의 인과관계를 확인 하였다. 그 결과, 국방획득사업부문도 BSC모델을 적용한 성과관리가 가능하고, Kaplan과 Norton이 제시한 공공부문의 BSC모델과 일치하는 관점간의 성과동인관계를 확인하였다. 즉, 국방획득사업의 전략목표를 달성하는데 있어서, 학습 및 성장관점은 프로세스 혁신에 영향을 미치고, 프로세스 혁신은 프로젝트 성과에 영향을 미치며, 프로젝트 성과가 고객만족에 영향을 미친다는 결론을 얻었다. 그러나, 각 관점별 성과평가지표(KPI)는 근무부서와 학력 등에 따라 전략목표에 미치는 영향에 대한 평가가 상이하고, 전략목표 달성에 미치는 영향이 없다고 조사된 지표들이 일부 있기 때문에 성과평가지표들의 타당성과 신뢰성에 대한 추가적인 연구가 필요하다. This paper presents Key Performance Indicator (KPI) that evaluates the performances of National Defense Acquisition Activity (NDAA) on the perspectives of BSC. It includes prior research materials of the BSC applications for the public sectors, Laws for the NDAA and opinions of experts, and specialists. KPI is readjusted on the BSC point of view in order to achieve the strategic objectives of the NDAA. This paper also checks the compatibility of the KPI and causal relations among the perspectives via Questionnaire. The results shows that it is possible to manage the performances applying to the BSC model in the area of the NDAA and conforms the Performance Driver relations between the same results and the BSC model for the public sectors which Kaplan and Norton has shown. In addition, the paper has the following conclusions : Process Innovation is influenced by Learning & Growth ; Process Innovation has an effect on project performances ; and Customer Satisfaction is affected by project performances to achieve the strategic objectives of the NDAA.

        우울 경향과 복모혈(腹募穴), 배유혈(背兪穴) 압통과의 관계 비교 연구

        Objective: To examine whether any correlation between tendency towards depression and tenderness at special acupuncture points exists, thus to explore the potential diagnostic property of acupuncture points. Methods: A total 31 subjects were included in this study. They filled out questionnaires about their mental [Beck Depression Inventory (BDI), Stress Response Inventory (SRI), Profile of Mood States (POMS)] and physical (fatigue due to overexertion, and food accumulation) symptoms. Identical weight around Alarm points (CV17, CV12, ST25, CV5, CV4, and LR13) and transport points (BL14, BL20, BL21, BL22, BL25, and BL27) was given using an algometer and the subjects rated their pain on an 11-point numerical rating scale. Heart rate variability (HRV) was also measured. Results: The subjects were divided into two groups, normal and depressive tendency groups with a cut-off point of nine on BDI. The depressive tendency group reported significantly higher values in SRI, POMS, and questionnaire for fatigue due to overexertion. In the pressure pain measurement, depressive tendency group had more pressure pain at CV12, left side of BL20, BL14, BL22 and both sides of BL21, BL25, BL27, significantly (each p<0.05). The data of HRV did not show significant differences between groups. Conclusions: People with a tendency towards depression may be prone to stress, negative mood, and fatigue due to overexertion. In addition, they may be more likely to develop tenderness at alarm points and transport points compared with healthy people. Further research is needed to confirm this finding.

        데이터마이닝을 이용한 동의보감에서 경락의 주치특성 분석

        Objectives : DongUiBoGam is one of the representative medical literatures in Korea. We used text mining methods and analyzed the characteristics of the indications of each meridian in the second chapter of DongUiBoGam, WaeHyeong, which addresses external body elements. We also visualized the relationships between the meridians and the disease sites. Methods : Using the term frequency-inverse document frequency (TF-IDF) method, we quantified values regarding the indications of each meridian according to the frequency of the occurrences of 14 meridians and 14 disease sites. The spatial patterns of the indications of each meridian were visualized on a human body template according to the TF-IDF values. Using hierarchical clustering methods, twelve meridians were clustered into four groups based on the TF-IDF distributions of each meridian. Results : TF-IDF values of each meridian showed different constellation patterns at different disease sites. The spatial patterns of the indications of each meridian were similar to the route of the corresponding meridian. Conclusions : The present study identified spatial patterns between meridians and disease sites. These findings suggest that the constellations of the indications of meridians are primarily associated with the lines of the meridian system. We strongly believe that these findings will further the current understanding of indications of acupoints and meridians.

        Ar, He 및 $N_2$ 가스의 $\alpha$-입자 저지능과 저지 단면적 측정

        3MeV에 서 5.4MeV 사이의 $\alpha$-입자에 대한 저지능과 저지 단면적을 He, Ar, 및 $N_2$ 가스에 대해서 측정했다. Srivastava의 저지능 공식을 본 실험결과에 적용시켜 그 타당성을 알아보았다. 그결과 Ar의 경우는 매우 잘 일치됨을 보여주며, He의 경우는 27-28%, $N_2$의 경우는 13-26%의 불일치를 보여주고 있다. The energy losses of ${\alpha}$-particle with 3 to 5.4 MeV energy were measured as a function of gas absorber thickness and ${\alpha}$-particle energy in three light gaseous media; He, Ar, and $N_2$. The stopping powers and stopping cross-sections were determined by analyzing these data. For Ar gas, the experimental values are very well consistent with the corresponding values of Srivastava's stopping-power theory with the condition of the completely and partially stripped ion. For $N_2$ and He gases, these experimental values express the inconsistencies of about $13{\sim}36%$ and $27{\sim}28%$, respectively.

        팔요맥을 중심으로 살펴본 『동의보감』27맥 속성 연구

        Objectives: Pulse diagnosis is considered particularly important among several methods of diagnosis in DongUiBoGam. In spite of its importance, numerous and various pulse descriptions made it difficult to learn and practice pulse diagnosis. In this article, we tried to analyze properties of the twenty-seven pulses from pulse diagnosis cases from DongUiBoGam to enable the practical understanding of pulse diagnosis. Methods : We constituted the four axis according to the eight important pulses. And we analyzed properties of the twenty-seven pulses through the relationship between the four pairs of important pulses and the twenty-seven pulses. To quantify the relevances of important pulses to the twenty-seven pulses, we used the term frequency- inverse document frequency(TF-IDF) method. Results : We could elicit properties of the twenty-seven pulses according to the four axis. Also, we reexamined the categorization of the seven exterior pulses / the eight interior pulses and the similar pulses from DongUiBoGam with the analysis results. Conclusions : We could understand properties of the twenty-seven pulses more specifically with the eight important pulses. And we also could see the relationship among the twenty-seven pulses on each axis. However, the limitation arising from insufficient number of pulse diagnosis cases in this research requires further research with more sources such as other traditional medical records or clinical records in the present time.

        텍스트마이닝을 이용한 동의보감의 질병인식방식과 내경편 침구법 경혈 특성 분석

        Objectives: DongUiBoGam is a representative medical literature in Korea. This research intends to structurally grasp how DongUiBoGam understands the human body and review the methods of acupuncture and moxibustion in the NaeGyeong chapter of it using text mining. Methods: The structure of DongUiBoGam was analyzed with specific parts of the book that described contents, major premises of understanding the human body, and processes of treatment. We analyzed characteristics of each acupoints in a relationship with causes of diseases & symptoms in the NaeGyeong chapter using a Term Frequency - Inverse Document Frequency (TFIDF). Results: Three different categories of pattern identification (PI) were formed after structural analysis of DongUiBoGam. Every causes of diseases & symptoms were transformed according to the three categories of PI. After analyzing the relationship between acupoints and causes of diseases & symptoms, 114 acupoints were visualized with TFIDF values of three PI categories. Conclusions: The selection of acupoints in NaeGyeong chapter of DongUiBoGam were linked to causes of diseases & symptoms based on the three PI categories. Through visualization of bipartite relationships between acupoints and causes of diseases & symptoms, we could easily understand characteristics of each acupoint.

        텍스트마이닝을 통한 사암침법 오수혈 사용 패턴 분석

        Background : Saam acupuncture were composed by applying the elemental concepts from the Five Phase theory - the relationships between the cycles such as Saeng(Sheng, ‘nourishing’ or ‘creating’) and Geuk(Ke, ‘suppressing’ or ‘controllin ’) - onto the Five Phase points and 12 channels to compensate for the imbalance in each of the 12 main energy traits. Objective : The present study is aimed to find out the characteristics of Five Phase points pattern in Saam acupuncture. Methods : We analysed the characteristics of five elements of the Five Phase points in Korean medical texts such as Saamdoinchimguyogyeol, Dongeuibogam and Chimgugyeongheombang in mid Chosun Dynasty. Using non-negative factorization(NNMF) methods, we extracted the feature matrix of five elements of Five Phase points in each classic medical text. Results : In Saam acupuncture, two characteristics were most prominent: (1) Self component of Five elements, (2) Mother and Grandmother component of Five elements. Conclusions : Saam acupuncture used the combination of Five-Shu acupoint based on ZangFu pattern identification. Our findings suggest that grasping the characteristics of Five Phase points combinations can improve the understanding the selection of the relevant acupoints based on the ZangFu pattern identifications.

        요통 침치료를 위한 경혈 선정에 관한 체계적 문헌 고찰

        Objectives: The purpose of this study is to figure out which acupoints are selected to treat low back pain and attempt to analyze the effectiveness of those acupoints in current clinical trials. Methods: We searched the three electronic databases(PUBMED, RISS, KISS) and manually checked related Korean journals and reference lists up to April 2012. We included randomized controlled trials, clinical controlled trials, and case reports/series using needle type acupuncture(manual acupuncture, electronic acupuncture) to treat low back pain in English and Korean. We investigated the frequency of selected acupoints, change of visual analogue scale of low back pain and statistical significance in each study among trials. Results: We included 37 articles(Domestic 17, International 20) 53 studies(Domestic 28, International 25) in this study. The most frequently adopted acupoints were BL23, BL24, BL25, GB30, BL26, BL60, BL32, BL40, KI3, GV3, ST36 in domestic studies and BL23, BL25, BL40, BL60, GB30, GB34, BL32, BL26 in international studies. There were differential effectiveness of acupoints between domestic and the international studies using statistical significance of visual analog scale for low back pain. Conclusions: These results suggest that both proximal and distal acupoints based on meridian theory were used in clinical trials to treat low back pain. It would be helpful to provide clinical guideline, evaluate the results of clinical trials appropriately, and reveal the effectiveness of acupoints.

        경락경혈 의학정보의 시각화 방법에 대한 역사적 고찰

        Objectives : The meridian system is a systematic complex of empirical knowledge, which functions as a basis of acupuncture treatment. In this article, we reviewed the visualization methods of meridian and acupuncture points through the investigation of the characteristics of Diagram of Meridians, Mingtang Diagram, Diagram of Meridians and Collaterals, Bronze Statues and Diagram of Bronze Statue. Methods : We investigated the characteristics of Diagram of Meridians, Mingtang Diagram, Diagram of Meridians and Collaterals, and Bronze Statues. We reviewed the visualization methods of meridian and acupuncture points in those classical Diagrams and analyzed their relationships among them. Results : In order to explain the meridian and acupuncture points easily, ancient people usually used drawings which are named Mingtang Diagram, Diagram of Meridians and Collaterals, by their own characteristics. Owing to their limitations of drawings on the 2 dimensional plane, Chinese people designed the Bronze Statue for Acu-moxibustion and its first invention was invented in Tiansheng age of Song dynasty. For several decades and centuries, these models and drawings were inherited, also reflecting variations of meridian system. As the Bronze Statue has a deficiency in the educational use because of its limitations of mass production, Diagram of Bronze Statue drawn on the 2 dimensional plane was invented. At the beginning of Mingtang Diagram, Diagram of Meridians and Collaterals, Diagram of Bronze Statue and Bronze Statue, their own characteristics were significantly differed with other diagrams and statues. We found that both diagrams and statues were gradually combined with description of the relationship between internal organs and the skeletal structure and the meridian system. Conclusions : Our findings suggest that Diagram of Meridians, Mingtang Diagram, Diagram of Meridians and Collaterals, and Bronze Statues are the basic form of data visualization, one of the infographics. We suggest that ancient Chinese people intend to explain the empirical knowledge using the ancient infographics of meridian system, but have limitations on reflecting theorical or abstractional meaning.
