        간호대학생의 노인간호봉사 프로그램의 효과

        Purpose: The purpose of this study was to develop an elderly care volunteer program for nursing students and to evaluate its effects. Method: An elderly care volunteer program was developed and then used with 77 nursing students for 6 months. Before and after the program, students responded with a questionnaire on knowledge, attitude and behavior toward the elderly. Data was analyzed by descriptive statistics, χ²-test, t-test, and Repeated measure ANOVA. Result: The elderly care volunteer program significantly improved knowledge toward elderly between the experimental and control groups but not in attitude and behavior toward elderly. Conclusion: This study shows that the elderly care volunteer program was an effective service-learning program to improve knowledge toward elderly for nursing students.

        간호사 특성에 따른 일혈예방 지식과 간호수행

        이 연구는 간호사를 대상으로 일혈 관련 간호사의 지식 및 간호수행 정도를 파악하여 일혈과 관련된 심각한 손상으로 부터 환자를 보호하기 위하여 수행하였다. 연구 대상자는 D시의 3개 대학병원과 2개 종합병원 그리고 항암치료가 많이 시행 되고 있는 1개 전문병원에 근무하는 간호사 293명을 대상으로 하였다. 본 연구 결과에서 간호사들의 일혈 관련 지식은 18.50±2.18점이었으며 일혈약물은 주입한 때마다 혈액 역류를 확인해야 하는 문항에 대한 지식 점수가 가장 높게 나타났다. 대상자의 일혈예방 지식 점수와 간호수행 점수는 50세 이상, 기혼, 임상경력 10년 이상, 병원 일혈에 대한 관심이 있는 군에 서 유의하게 높았다. 또한 일혈예방 지식점수는 병원 안전관리체계가 있었던 경우에서 간호수행 점수는 고학력, 책임간호사 이상, 내과계와 중환자실, 정맥주입 관련 교육경험이 있었던 경우에서 높게 나타났다. 결론적으로 간호사들의 일혈예방 행위 를 증가시키기 위해서는 계속 교육을 통해 지식을 향상시킬 필요가 있으나 지식 향상 뿐 만 아니라 행위를 향상시킬 수 있는 프로그램의 개발이 필요하다. 그러므로 환자 안전 관리팀의 운영, 표준화된 프로토콜의 개발과 적극 사용을 위한 의료기관 차원의 지원이 필요하다고 본다. This study was aimed to identify the level of knowledge and performance on nurses for the prevention of extravasation. Subjects of this study was 293 nurses working at three university hospitals, two general hospitals and one specialized hospital that frequently performed chemotherapy in D city. The highest score for the knowledge of nurses was extravasation drug related that it was 18.50±2.18 . The knowledge and performance were also higher for nurses with age greater than 50 years and married, with a clinical career of more than 10 years and high regard for extravasation. It is essential to develop other plans that promote the prevention of extravasation and to provide a continuous education for preventing extravasation. Therefore, it is necessary for medical institutes to operate patient safety management teams to develop standardized protocols and educating nurses and related persons.

        수술실 간호사의 환자안전의식과 안전관리활동

        본 연구는 수술실 간호사의 환자안전인식과 안전관리활동을 분석한 후 상관관계를 파악한 연구이다. 목적은 수술환자의 안전관리활동 수행정도를 향상시키기 위한 교육 프로그램 개발과 안전한 수술실 환경 조성을 위한 기초자료를 제공하고자 함이다. 연구대상은 대구광역시와 경상북도에 소재한 8개 종합병원 수술실 간호사 161명이었고, 자료 분석은 SPSS 21.0 program을 이용하여 t-test, ANOVA, Correlation coefficient를 실시하였으며 사후분석으로 Scheffe’s test를 실시하였다. 그 결과 수술실 간호사의 환자안전인식 점수는 5점 만점에 3.33점이었으며, 환자안전관리활동 점수는 5점 만점에 4.28점이었다. 대상자의 일반적 특성과 근무특성에 따른 환자안전인식을 분석한 결과 수술실 간호사의 근무시간에 따라서 환자안전인식이 차이가 있었으며 안전관리활동은 병상 수와 인증평가 준비 유무에 따라 차이가 있었다. 수술실 간호사의 환자안전에 대한 인식과 안전관리활동 간의 관계를 파악한 결과 유의한 양의 상관관계가 있어 환자안전인식이 높을수록 안전관리활동 정도가 높은 것으로 나타났다. 결론적으로 안전관리활동을 향상시키기 위해서는 환자안전에 대한 인식을 증가시키는 것이 필요하며, 환자안전에 대한 인식을 증가시키기 위해서는 직원 간의 개방적인 논의와 환자안전에 대한 병원의 지원 및 주기적인 교육과 같은 중재가 필요하다. This study aimed to investigate the awareness and performance of safety in operating room nurses. There were 161 operating room nurses from eight general hospitals included for analysis in this study. The data were analyzed with t-test, one-way ANOVA, correlation analysis, and Scheffe"s test. The results show that their perception of patient safety was 3.33 out of a total of 5 points. Moreover, the score of safety management activity for patients in the operating room was 4.28 out of 5 points. As the perception of patient safety in operating room nurses was significantly correlated with their safety management activities, nurses with higher awareness of patient safety were found to have higher degree of performance of safety management activities. In conclusion, to improve safety management activities, open discussion about patient safety should be encouraged and periodic education regarding patient safety should be implemented for operating room nurses to increase the perception of patient safety.

      • 초중등학교 여교사의 육아실태와 직장탁아 요구도에 관한 조사

        This study was carried out to investigate the child rearing and the need for employer-supported childcare of female teachers. For this purpose, a total of 624 female teachers with children of ages 6 or under were selected from primary, middle and high schools in two cities and one province. The data were collected from 8th November to 18th December 1993 through questionnaire. Among the total interviewed teachers, 33.0% had thought about giving up their jobs because of difficulties in rearing their children. One of the biggest problems experienced by the teachers was that there were not appropriate places for day care(59.6%) and the other was that they could not attend their children's schools( 58.6 % ). The biggest problem experienced by the teachers who had no children was the fact that they had worried about their children's health and diet(87.4%) and then educating their children (86.3%). 38.0% of female teachers who was living with their children let their mothers-in-law to care their children while 47.4% who had no children let their mothers to care their children. Among total respondants, 89.9% said they would take advantage of employer-supported childcare, which was the reason why we should use employer-supported childcare facilities during the working hours (91.8 %) in highest rank.

      • 분만준비교육이 초산모의 분만만족감에 미치는 효과

        This study intends to examine the relationship between the childbirth education and the satisfaction on labor and delivery, and to find out the effects of childbirth education on the childbirth satisfaction of primiparas. A total of 50 primiparas were selected as the subjects of this study: 24 primiparas who have attended the childbirth education were selected for experimental group among those who gave birth to their babies at the delivery room of the Medical Center of Y University and P Hospital located in Taegu City between September 1 through December 30, 1996; and 26 primiparas who gave birth without childbirth education were randomly selected for the control group. For the experimental group, an experimental treatment was given to them once a week for five weeks, and in order to examine the relationship between the childbirth education and childbirth satisfaction, the Global Self Esteem Scale, Labor Agency Scale, Delivery Agency Scale, and Labor/Delivery Evaluation Scale of the experimental group and control group were used to measure the degree of perception of control and labor experience during the postpartum period. This study design was a quasi experimental study of posttest design for non-equiva-lent control groups, and the data was analysed through frequency, percentage, and factor analysis by using SPSS/PC, and t-test was used to identify differences between experimental group and control group. The results of this study are summarised as follows. (1) The childbirth education was effective for the control perception during the labor and delivery of primiparas, since there was significant difference between the control perception of labor and delivery of those who received childbirth education and those who did not. (2) Those who received childbirth education had a significantly higher score for the childbirth experience than those who did not, and therefore the childbirth education was effective for the childbirth satisfaction of primiparas. (3) But the childbirth education had no effects on self-esteem since there was no significant difference between the self-esteem score of those who had childbirth education and those without it. Through the above results it can be concluded that those who had the childbirth education have higher control perception during labor and delivery and satisfactory child-birth experience, and the childbirth education was effective for more childbirth satisfaction.

      • 임신력 및 분만방식에 따른 모아애착 행위 정도

        The purpose of this study was to compare and describe the maternal attachment behaviors during the mother's first interaction with her newborn by pregnant history and type of delivery. In order to obtain the data assessment tool for measuring maternal attachment behaviors was made on 100 normal delivery mothers and 100 cesarean section mothers in delivery room of 3 general hospitals in Kyungpook province area from July 1 to August 31, 1988. The results of this study were as follows: The initial contact time of mother with newborn on normal delivery was more fast than that on cesarean section and there was significant difference between initial contact time and duration of contact time of normal delivery and that of cesarean section. Inspection of infant among identifying behaviors of all mothers was most responded action and nest was estabilish position enface of visual contact among modalities of interaction. As to appraisal of infant's condition among identifying behaviors. association with human characteristics among locating behaviors extends touch to truck of body among modalities of interaction and paroticipation in newborn care among caretaking behaviors there were significant differences between actions of normal delivery mothers and cesarean section mothers. The mean score of maternal attachment behaviors of cesarean section were shown to be significantly higher than normal delivery mothers as to appraisal of infant's condition among identifying behaviors, locating behaviors and participation in care.

      • 응급실 간호사의 스트레스 인지정도와 간호수행 정도와의 관계

        The purpose of this study was to assess the relationship between degree of perceived stress and nursing practice of nurses working at emergency room. The data were collected from 100 nurses who were attending to 13 university hospitals in Seoul, Pusan and Taegu from August 10 to September 9, 1988 The results were as follows: The mean score of degree of stress perceived by nurses was 2.70 and degree of stress perceived by hospital organization and administration was ranked the highest, followed by ranking nursing action in hospital, hospital environment and personal relationship. The stress factor perceived by nurses according to items was insufficient staff for the patients in the highest rank and followed by ranking night shift, accident in, nursing action and lots of patients for the number of beds. There were significant differences between degree of perceived stress and age, marital status and working duration by general characteristics and in items of stress factor. The mean score of degree of nursing practice was 2.30, and degree of environmental care among the 4 nursing areas was ranked in the highest and followed by ranking of educational, physical and sociopsychological care. Among 24 detailed items, "applying to aseptic technique" was the highest rank and followed by ranking "about NPO" and "prevention of accident and other trauma". There were significant differences between degree of nursing practice for educational care and age in general characteristics, sociopsychological care and marital status and between degree of nursing practice for physical care and working duration. The degree of physical stress by nurses showed higher negative correlation with the degree of nursing practice (-0.5101) and environmental factor among 4 stress factors showed the highest correlations with degree of nursing practice (-0.4463).
