        한국과 미국의 호텔기업 조직문화 비교 연구

        The purpose of this study was to investigate organizational culture difference of the hotels between Korea and United States. The samples were 900 employees in Korea and United States. There are Two significant differences of organizational culture between Korea and United States. The results are followings : 1. Korean hotels bear more authoritarianism and group consciousness than American hotels. 2. In Korea, there are some significant differences of organizational culture factors in connection with management type of hotel. Consequently, this study had established the fact that some difference of organizational culture of hotels exist related to nationality as Hofsted had researched before.

        골프장내 골프 Shop의 Custom Fitting System 도입시 골퍼 특성별 선택요인 차이분석

        The main purpose of this research was to get some basic strategic information for the golf shop marketing in country clubs especially when the Custom Fitting System was applied. The questionaries were distributed to 250 golfers who were older than 20 years. The obtained data were processed by the statistical methods, such as Frequency, Descriptive, Factor Analysis, and ANOVA test. The results of the research showed that the selecting attributes were analyzed to be five important factors. The knowledge and technique factor was found to be most important, and the trustship between staffs and clients factor was second most important. There were significant differences in the importance level between different demographic and personal variables. And, the analyses of the differences of selecting factors based on the golfers` characteristics were as follows: There were no significant differences of selecting factors between male and female golfers. The golfers whose age were ranged from 20 to 30 seemed to consider the P.R and purchasing varieties as the most important factors. The professional golfers significantly put more importance on the measuring ability factor. And, the golf mania group (who were used to play golf more than 5 times a week) consider the purchasing varieties factor as well as the measuring factor, most important.

        골프 용품 소비자의 골프 클럽(골프채) 구매 시 골프 Shop 선택요인 분석

        본 연구의 목적은 골프용품 소비자가 골프용품(클럽)을 구매하기 위하여 골프 Shop을 선택할 대 어떠한 요인을 중요시하는지 알아보고자 하는 것이다. 구체적으로 이러한 목적을 달성하기 위하여 골프 Shop 선택속성의 중요도를 분석하고 소비자의 개인적 특성에 따라 비교분석하고자 한다. 연구의 대상은 서울과 경기지역에 거주하는 프로와 아마추어 골퍼 150명으로 선정하였고, 편의표본추출법을 이용하였다. 연구분석을 위해 빈도분석, t-검증, 분산분석, 요인분석을 실시한 후 다음과 같은 결과를 얻었다. 첫째, 골프 Shop의 선택요인으로는 신뢰성, 구매 서비스 수준, 접근 편의성, 클럽선택의 다양성 그리고 가격 경쟁력 요인 순으로 나타났다. 둘째, 성별에 따라 접근 편의성과 클럽선택의 다양성 요인에서 유의한 차이가 나타났다. 셋째, 연령에 따라 신뢰성, 구매 서비스 수준, 가격 경쟁력 요인에서 유의한 차이가 나타났다. 넷째, 직업에 따라 신뢰성, 구매 서비스 수준, 클럽선택의 다양성, 가격 경쟁력 요인에서 유이한 차이가 나타났다. 다섯째, 월평균 소득에 따라 신뢰성, 구매 서비스 수준, 접근 편의성, 가격 경쟁력 요인이 유의한 차이를 보이는 것으로 나타났다. 여섯째, 골프경력에 따라 신뢰성, 구매 서비스 수준, 클럽선택의 다양성, 가격 경쟁력 요인이 유의적 차이가 나타났다. 일곱째, 평균타수에 따라 신뢰성, 구매 서비스 수준, 접근 편의성에 유의적 차이를 나타내었고, 월평균 라운드 횟수는 신뢰성 요인만이 유의적 차이를 나타내었다. 마지막으로, 프로와 아마추어 골퍼 간에는 신뢰성, 구매 서비스 수준, 가격 경쟁력 요인에서 유의한 차이가 나타났다. The purpose of this research was to develop marketing strategies for the golf shop industry in Korea through the exploration and processing the empirical data including a variety of different attributes which were assumed to be affecting the customers' selection of the golf shops in Korea. To satisfy this purpose, the researcher developed a new set of questionnaires and interviewed 150 golfers who were randomly selected out of amateur and professional golfers residing in Seoul and Kyunggi Province. As a statistical method, the researcher used SAS Program Ver. 8.01 to analyze the univariate data such as the mean, standard deviation, and frequency. The T-tests were undertaken to examine significant differences between the groups. ANOVA (Analysis of Variance) tests with Duncan's multiple-range tests were executed additionally for the post-hoc comparison. And also Exploratory Factor Analysis was used specifically for analyzing the selecting factors of the golf shops. The results showed that credibility factor was found to be the most important selecting factor, purchase-related service quality factor as the second most important, accessibility factor as the third, club variety factor as the fourth. and price value factor as the fifth. Results: 1. There are significant differences in accessibility factor and club variety factor by sex. 2. There are significant differences in credibility factor, purchase-related service quality factor. and price value factor by age. 3. There are significant differences in credibility factor, purchase-related service quality factor, club variety factor, and price value factor by occupation. 4. There are significant differences in credibility factor, purchase-related service quality factor, club variety factor, accessibility factor, and price value factor by income. 5. There are significant differences in purchase-related service quality factor, club variety factor, and price value factor by golf career. 6. There are significant differences in credibility factor, purchase-related service quality factor, accessibility factor, and price value factor by average score. 7. There are significant differences in credibility factor by number of rounds per month. 8. There are significant differences in credibility factor, purchase-related service quality factor, and price value factor between amateur and professional golfers.

        제주해협을 통과하는 화학물질 플럭스

        한국 남해대륙붕에서의 물질순환을 이해하기 위해 남해연안의 보길도와 제주도를 잇는 제주해협에서 1997년부터 1999년까지 3년간 화학물질 플럭스에 대한 조사를 실시하였다. 제주해협의 입자성부유물질, 용존무기영양염류, 입자성유기탄소 및 질소는 전계절에 걸쳐 90% 이상이 동향류에 의해 황해 및 동중국해로부터 제주해협을 통해 남해로 유입된다. 제주해협을 통해 남해로 유입되는 화학물질들의 연간 플럭스는 부유물질이 22.9${\times}$10$^6$ ton yr$^{-1}$, 암모니움 이온은 0.52${\times}$10$^{10}$ mol yr$^{-1}$, 질산이온은 6.05${\times}$10$^{10}$ mol yr$^{-1}$, 인산이온은 0.36${\times}$10$^{10}$ mol yr$^{-1}$, 규산은 10.27${\times}$10$^{10}$ mol yr$^{-1}$이다. 해수수송량(Sv)당 입자성부유물질 연간 플럭스는 제주해협(44.48${\times}$10$^6$ ton yr$^{-1}$ Sv$^{-1}$)이 대한해협 (26.08${\times}$10$^6$ ton yr$^{-1}$ Sv$^{-1}$)보다 약 1.7배 크다. 또한 제주해협 통과 질산이온 연간 플럭스(11.60${\times}$10$^{10}$ mol yr$^{-1}$ Sv$^{-1}$)는 대한해협 (9.72${\times}$10$^{10}$ mol yr$^{-1}$ Sv$^{-1}$)보다 약 1.2배, 동중국해에서 쿠로시오에 의한 수송량(18.55${\times}$10$^{10}$ ton yr$^{-1}$ Sv$^{-1}$)에 비해서는 2/3 수준으로 높다. 결론적으로 풍부한 화학물질들을 함유한 제주해류는 남해 및 동해의 생지화학적 과정들에 있어 상당히 중요함을 시사한다. The estimated total material transports through the Cheju Strait using all data which investigated in 1997 and 1999 are as follows; A large amount of suspended sediments and dissovted inorganic nutrients are carried tothe South Sea through the Cheju Strait by a persistent eastward flow (Cheju Current) from the Y311ow Sea andthe East China Sea. The annual material Oanspous by the Cheju Current are as follows; 22.9${\times}$10$^6$ ton yr$^{-1}$(SS), 0.52${\times}$10$^{10}$ mol yr$^{-1}$ (NH$_4\;^+$), 6.05${\times}$10$^{10}$ mol yr$^{-1}$ (NO$_3\;^-$), 0.36${\times}$10$^{10}$ mol yr$^{-1}$ (PO$_4\;^{3-}$), 10.27${\times}$10$^{10}$ mol yr$^{-1}$ (Si(OH)$_4$). The annual suspended sediment flux per water transport in the Cheju Strait (44.48${\times}$10$^6$ ton yr$^{-1}$ Sv$^{-1}$) is about 1.7 larger than that in the Korean Strait (26.08${\times}$10$^6$ ton yr$^{-1}$ Sv$^{-1}$). The annual nitrate flux per water transport (11.60${\times}$10$^{10}$ mol yr$^{-1}$ Sv$^{-1}$) is about 1.2 larger than that in the Korean Strait (9.72${\times}$10$^{10}$ mol yr$^{-1}$ Sv$^{-1}$) and 2/3 of that by Kuroshio in the East China Sea (18.55${\times}$10$^{10}$ ton yr$^{-1}$ Sv$^{-1}$). It suggests that chemical rich Cheju Current will play a significant role in the biogeochemical processes in the South Sea where the huge land-based waste are introduced.

        객실승무원의 직무교육이 직무가치와 직업만족에 미치는 영향

        In developed countries, the service industry comprises a large portion of the total industrial structure. The qualification and role of flight attendants are emphasized as a typical measure of an airline`s quality of international services. Thus, training and education of the flight attendants are regarded highly as an essential factor to improve general services and distinguish one`s services from other competitors`. This study focused on verifying relationships among the flight attendants` training programs, their work value, and job satisfaction in the work place. The data for empirical analysis were collected from ``K`` Airline``s flight attendants who joined the company since 2000. 450 questionnaires were distributed in March 2013. 423 were returned and 385 questionnaires were used for empirical analysis. The data were analyzed with frequency analysis, exploratory factor analysis, correlation analysis and multiple regression analysis using SPSS 19.0. As a result of empirical research, it was found that several factors of training programs had significant influence on the work value, and the work value had influence on the job satisfaction. With the result of this study, it is expected to find the factors that influence work value and job satisfaction by introducing and understanding the training program for newly employed flight attendants, thereby giving guidelines for strategic development of a job- training program and enhancement of job satisfaction for more effective personnel management of flight attendants.

        기업이벤트 기획자의 호텔연회장 선택속성에 관한 연구

        The purpose of this research was to examine the corporate event planners` attributes in the process of selecting hotel banquet facilities, derive the major factors of attributes, and thereby analyze their differences between the planners` groups. The questionnaires were distributed to the samples who were event planners working for the three different areas such as advertisement agencies, event management companies, and host corporates. Finally 151 valid questionnaires were collected for data processing; frequency analysis for descriptive interpretation of general characteristics of samples, factor analysis for deriving major factors of selecting attributes, and oneway-ANOVA for the analysis of differences between sample groups. The results from the analysis were as follows. Firstly, almost the half of the total number of events held in hotel were events with the purpose of communicating corporate image, (e.g. new product launching, corporate vision announcement, customer thank-you party). Secondly, the size of banquet facility, hotel image, hotel grade, parking facility, and ambience of banquet hall were analyzed as more important factors of selecting attributes. Thirdly, as the results of difference analysis of selecting attributes based on demographic variables, the higher the planners` career were, the more importantly banquet supporting facility were considered, and the higher the planners education level, the more importantly the service level, size of banquet hall, and banquet expenses factor were considered. Fourthly as the results of difference analysis based on planner`s position and the size of event, event management companies regarded supporting facility and experience/reputation factors as more important, while advertisement agencies regarded supporting facility and hotel image factor as more important. Finally, in case of 300-700 participants event, accessibility and parking convenience factors were considered as more important.

        호텔의 식 공간 연출 중 물리적 환경에 의한 고객감정반응이 충성도에 미치는 영향

        The purpose of this study was to verify the effects of hotel restaurants` physical environment on the customers` emotional responses and loyalty. Given that more specific researches for the development of differentiated marketing strategies seemed to be very necessary, main focus of this study was put on the customers` emotional response as a mediating variable and also a strategic factor. A set of 300 sample questionnaires collected from hotel restaurant guests were statistically tested using SPSS 19.0. The results of this study revealed that firstly, the most highly influential physical environmental factor affecting customers` emotion was interior design, secondly, the most negatively influential factor was staff`s appearance, thirdly, the customers` emotion had positive effects on their loyalty. Finally, the results of the analyses implied that the customers` emotion could be a significant leverage to enhance the ultimate customers` loyalty.

        국내 골프관광객의 골프대중화 인식수준에 관한 연구

        This study was designed to examine the priorities and the solutions for golf popularization in Korea through Importance-Performance Analysis of domestic golfers` perception. The samples were selected from visitors of 10 golf clubs (private:5, public:5), and finally 338 questionnaires were used for the analysis. The Methods of analysis were frequency analysis, descriptive analysis, and t-test for the analysis of differences between the importance and the performance, using SPSS 19.0. The main results were shown that the priorities for golf popularization were low green fee, low food & beverage price, low golf equipment price, low golf clothing price, reasonable membership fee, convenient reservation, more supply of public golf course, and low lesson fee.
