The Dutch economy has been evaluated as a weel functioning model, which has accomplished employment miracle by reconciling labor flexibility wich tripartite consensus (labor-capital-government). Recently the Dutch pension system contributed to a fiscal soundness is attracting a new attention as another pillar of miracle. However, this paper contends that the significance of the Dutch pension system should not be underrated in favor of only fiscal achievement. Thebasis of that argument is that the Dutch pension system, in particular, the Dutch corporate pension has materialized the principle of social solidarity perfectly in the world. This study provides the critical meanings included in the Dutch model and the Dutch pension system in the age of financial globalization. We also suggest the shortcomings of them in detail.
LCR 파를 이용한 압연 알루미늄판의 잔류응력 평가에 관한 연구

Ultrasonic travel-times obtained with the LCR ultrasonic technique have shown an ability to distinguish among three aluminum plates. The 244×150㎜ plates are 12㎜ thick, but differ in heat treatment. One is fully annealed, the second is quenched and then tempered, and the third is heat-treated to T651 plate, as received plate. Travel-times were obtained at four locations on each side of all plates. The data for both sides of each plate clearly are in very close agreement except location 1 of each plate. In order to show the travel-time variation throughout the plate areas, the average travel-time for both sides of each plate were calculated. For Plate 1, the travel-time data were the highest and the data of Plate 2 were upper than Plate 3. Finally, the residual stresses for each plate were measured by X-ray diffraction method. The results showed a good relation. These preliminary results indicate that the LCR Ultrasonic Technique may be not only further developed for use in quality control in the manufacture of rolled aluminum plates but also industry.

Presented are the estimation of the probability distribution of fatigue crack growth life and reliability assessment of structures by simulating material resistance to fatigue crack growth along a crack path. The material resistance is treated as a Weibull stochastic process. A non-Gaussian stochastic fields simulation method proposed by Shimozuka, et al is applied with the statistical data obtained experimentally. Test results are obtained for △K constant amplitude load in tension with stress ratio of R=0.2 and three specimen thicknesses of 6, 12 and 18㎜. This simulation method is useful to estimate the probability distribution of fatigue crack growth life and the smallest life.
A Numerical Study on Coal Devolatilization of Bituminous Coal Using CPD Model

The coal considerably is the energy resource which is important with the new remarking energy resource. The coal conversion has two processes which are coal devolatilization and char oxidation. Coal devolatilization is important because it describes up to 70% weight loss and has been shown that nitrogen contribute 60 to 80% of the total NOx produced. The chemical percolation devolatilization(CPD) model is used here to describe coal devolatilization. The model was developed to describe coal devolatilization behavior of rapidly heated coal based on characteristics of the chemical structure of the parent coal. This paper describes CPD model in detail and makes an analysis of Shenhua coal(bituminous) which is used calculated 13-C NMR(carbon - nuclear magnetic resonance).
