The purpose of this study is to propose of standardized modular steel structure unit for productivity enhancement of productivity in modular factory. For the verification, comparison review in various points of view between existing modular steel structure unit and standardized modular steel structure unit based on recently completion of modular system buildings. This research is suggestion of enhancement of standardized steel structure"s members for better production workability. The research is based on (1) steel structure process which is most high rate (approximately 30%) of modular unit manufacturing process and (2) prototype unit size of 3M × 6M × 3.2M(H) among the most used in recently project. For the verification, comparison analysis between existing steel structure unit and standardized steel structure unit"s manufacturing process. The research result, one modular unit of standardized steel structure manufacturing process is reducting (1) 250,042won production cost, (2) 3 hours and 49 minute of production time. Also, (3) increase the factory area availability of 203.84㎡.
현장 실험(Mock Up)을 통한 장수명 주택 인필로서의 세대내 경량벽체 수평하중저항성에 관한 연구

The purpose of the study is for the stiffness pressing force of lightweight inner partition wall as long-life housing infill. And it has suggestion possibility of lightweight inner partition wall has secure the enough resistibility thought the mock up. The main thrust of lightweight inner partition wall’s variability. For secure the variability of lightweight inner partition wall, it needs to change the installation method of partition wall with upper and lower slab fixing method to floor and ceiling fixing method. Must be consideration of lightweight partition wall’s stiffness pressing force performance criteria if change the installation method. Mock Up test results of the study, specimen #1 and #2 gypsum board was not possible to reach the performance criteria 3000N. But specimen #3 ALC Block evaluated to have stiffness pressing force 1000N even 3000N, as well as performance criteria. Also, specimen #4 for the lightweight partition wall between housing is suitable with fireproof gypsum board.

This study aims to assess the 3-hour fire resistance capabilities of a beam-to-beam combination structure, mirroring the on-site assembly features of the modular construction method. A specific detail for the 3-hour fire resistance of the beam-to-beam combination structure was put forth, followed by a non-load heating test utilizing a horizontal heating furnace. In this proposed detail, fireproof gypsum boards cover the beams of individual modular units, the linear joint between on-site installed beams is filled with fireproof insulation or ceramic wool, and a fireproof sealant is applied for non-flammability assurance. The results from two rounds of 3-hour fireproof tests demonstrated satisfactory fireproof performance.

The purpose of this study is to examine the 3-hours fire resistance performance of the beam to beam combination structure reflecting the on-site assembly characteristics of the modular construction method. A detail of 3-hours fire resistance beam to beam combination structure was proposed and a non-load heating test was conducted using a horizontal heating furnace. In the proposed detail, 1) the beams of individual modular units are covered using fireproof gypsum boards, 2) the linear joint between the beams after on-site installation is filled with fireproof insulation(cerakwool), and 3) Finally, fireproof sealant is constructed to ensure inflammable. The results of two times 3-hours fireproof tests showed that the fireproof performance was satisfied.
