It is the key component that motor block system affect safety and performance of railway. It is very important to examine the performance of motor block for improvement of safety and reliability of rolling stock. As such the motor block is an essential part of rolling stock. But provisioning quantities and spare quantities depend on the operator' experience. There are many problems that occur lots of spare or lack of spare. If there are lots of spare it is difficult to keep the circumstance by cost issues. On the contrary if there are lack of spare it may have a adverse effect on the whole railway. Thus this study offers method to estimate optimal spare of motor block using the analysis of data related with Failure rate MTBF standards and guidelines. And we expect this study to contribute to determine optimal spare parts.

The Reliability started for MILitary purposes during World War II in 1942 getting more important for maintenance safety etc in modern society. As technologies develop also international standards for measuring the reliability is advancing. RAMS activities for maintenance safety verification is material to national railroad. And for this it needs quick response for the changes of standards. Even now standards are upgrading for developing electronic technologies. Therefore analysis of failure rate's trend about such standards is judged necessary. So We submit a this paper for comparative analysis of changing process standards according to development of electronic technologies and reliability. At first we compared actual usage ratio of standards for understanding the current state of usage. Based of these state of usage discuss the major standard. And then introduced reliability standards's trend calculation method of failure rate and difference of failure rate calculation standard according to march of time. In this paper used standards are MIL-HDBK-217F Telcodia etc.

Fault Diagnosis is a process of detecting and isolating faults in a system. On demanding for safety and high reliability systems make it important for some reasons such as economical and environmental incentives. Especially embedded technology and IT technology combined with precise sensing techniques has been doing well developed and applied to fault diagnosis and prognosis in industrial systems like as automotive, ship, heavy industry and aerospace as well. This paper, as an empirical application of diesel engine, presents a method how to get raw data from physical systems, what to consider for successful implementation and which theoretic mathematical models should be applied. In a sense of system level Adaptive Filtering (we call Modified Kalman Filter) and a unit of part level Hidden Markov Process was developed and applied.

소프트웨어 RAMS를 위한 소프트웨어 코드의 정적 분석을 위해서 경험 있는 테스터들은 안전에 고장을 야기시키는 정적 기법을 선별적으로 사용하여 결함을 검출하기를 선호한다. 코딩 규칙 소프트웨어 메트릭스 위험데이터 등의 정적 기법들의 많은 사례들이 보고되고 있다. 그러나 다수의 분석 사례들은 정적 분석의 효과를 이론적으로만 제시할 뿐 코드 분 석에 사용된 코드 결함들을 테스터가 어떻게 판단하여 분류하고 이를 높은 품질을 보증하기 위해 올바르게 제거 수정하였는가에 대한 구체적인 설명이 부족하다. 간혹 일부 사례를 통 해서 그 효과를 제시하는 자료들도 있으나 그 적용과정이 구체적이지 않아 신뢰를 얻기가 어려운 경우가 많다. 본 논문에서는 안전성 화보를 위해 철도분야에서 많이 사용되는 정적 기법들을 소개하고 이들을 실제 개발 과제에 적용하여 각각의 결과를 비교하고 분석하였다. 본 논문의 결과를 일반화하기는 어려울 것이지만 하나의 사례 연구로서 참고하고 활용될 수 있을 것이다. For Static analysis of software code an experienced tester prefer detecting defects with using selective static technique. Many cases of static method have been reported such as coding rules software metrics defect data etc. However many of analysis case only present effectiveness of static analysis not enough description for how the tester judged to classify code defects used in code analysis and removed them properly for ensure high quality. Occasionally there are materials to show the effect of through some examples through some examples. But difficult to gain trust because of not enough detail for application process. In this paper introduced the static technique commonly used in railway and applied to the real development challenges. And the each of results were compared and analyzed. It is hard to generalize the results of this parer. But can be used and referenced as a case of study.
고속 철도차량용 모터블록 MBU 탑재 소프트웨어 Metrics와 시스템 설계 활용 방안

철도시스템은 하드웨어 중심에서 소프트웨어 중심으로 급격히 변화함에 따라 소프트웨어에 대한 안전성 및 신뢰성이 중요한 품질요소로 부각되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 철도응용 시스템에 대한 국제 안전성 규격인 IEC 62279에서 규정하고 있는 소프트웨어 정적분석, 동적테스팅 등에서의 다양한 Metric들을 측정하고 분석할 수 있는 자동화 도구를 이용하여, 보다 소프트웨어의 안전성과 신뢰성을 향상시키는데 유용한 Metric을 제시한다. 소프트웨어 Metric기준을 달성하기 위해서는 소프트웨어 개발 초기 단계부터 소프트웨어의 설계 및 테스트에 이르기까지 기능 요구사항 및 구조설계, 코딩 표준 등을 고려하여 소스코드를 구현하여야만 한다. 또한 철도 소프트웨어에 대한 실 사례 분석을 통하여, 하드웨어 성능, 메모리, 전력사용량, 코드 크기 등의 시스템 개발 시 고려할 요소들과 소프트웨어 Metric과의 상관관계를 분석하여 소프트웨어 Metric의 활용성을 입증한다. As rapidly changing the railway system from hardware-driven to software-driven, a quality factor for software safety and reliability has been focused. In this paper, a software static analysis and dynamic testing required the international safety standard IEC 62279 for railway application system, using an automated tool that can measure and analyze, the various metrics to improve the safety and reliability of the software are presented as a useful metric. In order to achieve software metric criteria, the source code must implement by considering the functional requirements and structural design, ranging from the early stages of software development, software design and testing, coding standards. It will also demonstrate the usefulness of software metric by analyzing the correlation between these metrics and the factors of the system development, such as hardware performance, memory, power consumption, and code size through actual case study for the railway software, KTX motor block system.
