The performance characteristics of a lead acid battery are investigated with the content of Sodium Perborate Tetrahydrate (SPT, NaBO<sub>3</sub>·4H<sub>2</sub>O) in a positive plate active material. SPT, which reacts with water to form hydrogen peroxide, is applied as an additive in the positive plate active material to increase adhesion between the substrate (positive plate) and the active material; this phenomenon is caused by a chemical reaction on the surface of substrate. A positive plate with the increasing content of SPT is prepared to compare its properties. It is confirmed that the oxide layer increases at the interface between the substrate and the active material with increasing content of SPT; this is proven to be an oxide layer through EDS analysis. Battery performance is confirmed: when SPT content is 2.0 wt%, the charging acceptance and high rate discharge properties are improved. In addition, the lifetime performance according to the Standard of Battery Association of Japan (SBA) S0101 test is improved with increasing content of SPT.
용매열 공정을 이용한 세리아(CeO<sub>2</sub>) 나노분말의 합성 및 분산거동

CeO<sub>2</sub> nanoparticles, employed in a lot of fields due to their excellent oxidation and reduction properties, are synthesized through a solvothermal process, and a high specific surface area is shown by controlling, among various process parameters in the solvothermal process, the type of solvent. The synthesized CeO<sub>2</sub> nanoparticles are about 11~13 nm in the crystallite size and their specific surface area is about 65.38~84.65 ㎡/g, depending on the amount of ethanol contained in the solvent for the solvothermal process; all synthesized CeO<sub>2</sub> nanoparticles shows a fluorite structure. The dispersibility and microstructure of the synthesized CeO<sub>2</sub> nanoparticles are investigated according to the species of dispersant and the pH value of the solution; an improvement in dispersibility is shown with the addition of dispersants and control of the pH. Various dispersing properties appear according to the dispersant species and pH in the solution with the synthesized CeO<sub>2</sub> nanoparticles, indicating that improved dispersing properties in the synthesized CeO<sub>2</sub> nanoparticles can be secured by applying dispersant and pH control simultaneously.
주거용 고층 건물의 풍동실험을 통한 내풍설계 안전성 분석 및 평가

As the social demand for high-rise buildings increases, the construction of high-rise apartment buildings is accelerated. As a result of development of such high-rise buildings, societal needs for the safety of high-rise residential buildings against earthquakes and typhoons are increasing. Therefore, wind tunnel experiments were conducted for the safe design of building structures using vibration displacement and vibration acceleration owing to wind loads, and safety analysis and evaluation based on the data obtained through wind tunnel experiments were performed for the safety of apartment building structures. The safety of design standards was confirmed through estimation using the time history data of the measured wind power and evaluation of the average variation components of response to wind direction through spectrum modal analysis. In addition, items such as the quantity of rebars used in the construction of apartment buildings were determined through the field application of the design conducted in accordance with the 2016 Korean Building Code and the design of actual apartment buildings obtained by applying the results of wind tunnel experiments. In particular, the results showed that a seismic design through wind tunnel experiments is required to improve the seismic performance of high-rise buildings. 고층 건물에 대한 사회적 수요와 증가에 따라 공동주택 건축물의 고층화 건설이 가속화 되고 있는 것 이 현실이다. 이러한 개발과정에서 최근에 빈번하게 발생하고 있는 지진과 태풍 영향에 의한 주거용 고층 건축물에 대한 안전성이 사회적으로 확대 요구되고 있다. 따라서 공통주택의 구조물에 풍동시험을 통해 얻은 다양한 데이터를 기반으로 안정성 분석 평가를 통하여 풍하중에 의한 진동 변위 및 진동 가속도를 이용하여 건축구조물의 안전한 설계방법을 위해 풍동시험을 실시하였다. 측정된 풍력의 시계열 데이터로 부터 계산되고 풍향응답의 평균성분 변동성분은 스펙트럼의 모드 분석을 통해 평가하였다. 설계기준의 안전성을 확인하였다. 또한 풍동시험 결과를 적용하여 건축구조기준(KBC, 2016)으로의 설계와 실제 공동주택의 설계를 통하여 현장에 적용하여 사용된 철근의 사용량 등을 비교하였다. 특히 고층 건축물의 내진성능을 높이위하여 진동하중에 따른 거동특성을 파악하여 풍동실험을 통한 내진설계의 필요성이 요구되는 것으로 분석되었다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 실제 적용 사례를 분석을 통하여 건축구조물 내진설계 분야의 기초 자료로 활용하고자 한다.
건축물의 대공간 집회시설의 실내공기질 개선방안에 관한 연구

Lately majority of churches have preferred to enlarge their worship area to both horizontal and vertical axis. According to expand their area which brings more devotees to the limited service area. Transform from a small church into a large church is no longer unprecedented issue in South Korea. As the size of church getting bigger, many unexpected issues become matters. One of the significant problem is that the number of people have experienced either fall a sleep or feel a doziness during their service period. Due to the limited condition for the specific building type such as religion facility(church), lAQ improvements is seriously concerned. Therefore, we are going to examine by using simulation tool, CF, a difference of ventilation efficiency about the location and number of windows, and find the best way of the ventilation efficiency in a multi-stories type church by changing the exhaust pipes location and size. Furthermore, in this thesis, by changing a ceiling height from the existing building to confirm that CO₂ have been satisfied for both the ventilation efficiency and IAQ.
국내 의료시설에 적합한 친환경건축물 인증기준의 외부환경 평가항목 개발에 관한 연구

Recently, As more serious environmental problems of buildings, our country and the advanced countries are developing Green building assessment tools for estimating environmental performance of buildings. Especially, hospital architecture has acknowledged remedial value of environment as well as which have been relation with human beings relied on the quality of natural environment. So, it is not only desirable for the patients to make healing environment on the basis of eco-friendly architecture and the facilities have to be developed eco-environmentally. The purpose of this study is to prepare the basic data to develop the items of outdoor environmental assessment for hospital. Furthermore, for this research paper, we compared domestic green building certification criteria to foreign green building certification criteria, such as LEED v.2.2 and GBTool 2005. From the analysis results, we were able to grasp basic data of outdoor environment assessment for domestic hospital's Green Building Certification Criteria.
