유아에게 있어 달리기는 기본적인 욕구이자, 신체적ㆍ정서적 성장을 위한 동력이다. 이에 본 연구는 유아들의 달리기 활동에 주목하고 유아교육기관에서 달리기를 하는 것이 유아들에게 어떤 의미를 주는가를 알아보는데 목적을 두었다. 연구방법은 부산시에 소재한 B어린이집 만 4, 5세 2개 학급 35명의 유아를 대상으로 2010년 3월부터 2011년 2월까지 1년 동안 이루어진 달리기 활동을 참여관찰하고 교사의 보육일지를 분석하고 부가적으로 교사를 면담하였다. 연구결과, 달리기 활동의 의미는 ‘달리기에 대해 이해하기’, ‘달리면 건강해짐을 알기’, ‘달리며 배려하는 마음 배우기’, ‘달리면서 자연과 어우러짐을 느끼기’로 범주화 되었다. ‘달리기에 대해 이해하기’에서는 달리기를 할 때는 계절에 따라 준비할게 달라지고 준비운동이나 속도조절이 필요함을 유아가 알아가고 있었다. ‘달리면 건강해짐을 알기’에서는 유아가 달리기를 통하여 몸에 일어나는 변화를 알고 달리면 정서적으로 기분이 좋아지고 육체적으로 튼튼해짐을 알아가고 있었다. ‘달리며 배려하는 마음 배우기’에서는 달리기 활동을 하면서 유아들은 자연스럽게 동생을 챙기고 친구를 응원하고 주변을 돌아보고 있었다. ‘달리면서 자연과 어우러짐을 느끼기’에서는 달리기 활동을 하면서 꽃과 나무, 곤충을 만나고 친해지며 그 속에서 행복감을 느끼는 유아를 발견할 수 있었다. 이처럼 유아교육기관에서 달리기 활동을 하는 것은 유아들로 하여금 신체적 건강 뿐 아니라 정서적인 면에서 매우 의미가 있으므로 유아교육에 시사하는 바가 크다고 할 수 있겠다. As for preschoolers, running is a basic desire and motive power for physical and emotional growth. Accordingly, the purpose of this study was to examine what significance the running at the early childhood education institution gives to preschoolers, with paying attention to preschoolers’ running activity. As for the research method, the researcher participated and observed the running activity that was performed for 1 year from March 2010 to February 2011 targeting 35 preschoolers from 2 classes of fully 4 and 5 years old at B Child Care Center which is located in Busan metropolitan city, analyzed teachers’ child-care diary, and additionally had interview with teachers. As a result of research, the significance of the running activity was categorized into ‘understanding about running,’ ‘knowing that running leads to being healthy,’ ‘learning the mind of considering with running,’ and ‘feeling harmony with nature with running.’ In ‘understanding about running,’ the preschoolers were proceeding with knowing that preparation is varied depending on season when running and that warm-up or speed control is needed. In ‘knowing that running leads to being healthy,’ the preschoolers were proceeding with knowing a change in the body through running and knowing that running leads to feeling better emotionally and to getting physically stronger. In ‘learning the mind of considering with running,’ the preschoolers were naturally taking care of little one, cheering friend, and looking back around. In ‘feeling harmony with nature with running,’ some preschoolers were discovered who meet and get familiar with flowers, trees, insects, and feel a sense of happiness amid it with running. In this way, the running activity at early childhood education institution is so significant in the aspect of emotion as well as physical health as for preschoolers, thereby being able to be said to give great suggestion to early childhood education.

소파 방정환에 의해 재창조된 번안동화의 작품세계 -『사랑의 선물』을 중심으로-

본 연구의 목적은 방정환이 ‘소년운동’ 차원에서 기획한 번안동화집인 『사랑의 선물』중 임의로 선정한 총 4편을 원작과 비교하여, 원작이 ‘어떻게’, ‘얼마나’, ‘왜’ 다르게 번역되었는지 원작에 대한 번역 일치성 및 개작의 중재 전략을 알아보는 데 있다. 연구 결과 방정환은 번역자로서 내용의 의도적인 첨가, 삭제, 수정의 방법으로 원작을 개작하는 과정을 수행하였다. 또한 이러한 개작은 화합, 자국화, 윤색의 중재 전략이 사용되었는데, 방정환은 이러한 중재전략을 통하여 첫째, 순수한 동심의 세계 존중, 둘째, 외래문화에 대한 주체적 수용, 셋째, 문학적 감성과 상상력을 통한 애국 교육 등의 세계관을 뚜렷이 드러내었다. 이에 본 연구를 통하여 방정환은 『사랑의 선물』번안을 통하여 외국 동화가 문학텍스트로서 가지는 문학적·심리적 가치를 그대로 어린이에게 전달하는 동시에 유교 전통을 극복하고 우리나라 현실에 맞게 아동존중사상을 농축하여 표현한 문화변용의 주체였다는 사실을 알 수 있었다. Bang Jeong-Hwan tried to transfer foreign fairy tales in itself which was worth of literary and psychological value as a literary text to children and simultaneously express realistically condensed ideological contents of DongHak through the adaption of Sa-rang-ui-Suon-mul(A Gift of Love). This study chose four sub-titles of the Sa-rang-ui-Suon-mul to investigate how, how much different, why these translations(adaptions) were different from original on the base of the level of fidelity to original and the intervention strategy. As the results of this study, Bang Jeong-Hwan as a translator performed the process of these translations as a significant difference from original by introducing the method of intensely insertion, elimination, modification. Furthermore, Bang Jeong-Hwan could attain the following three purposes and express a distinguishing his outlook on the world through these adaptations: 1) the respect for the world of pure child mind 2) the creative and independent acceptance of foreign cultures 3) the patriotic education through a literary sensitivity and imagination. As results of this study, we surely knew that Bang Jeong-Hwan was a main agent of acculturation by means of maintaining the literary value of original and realizing an idea of children respect.
