혼성 체육 수업에서의 성차별 요인이 교과태도에 미치는 영향

이 연구의 목적은 혼성 체육 수업에서 학생들이 인식하는 성차별 요인을 조사하고, 이러한 요인들이 교과태도에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 분석하는 것이다. 이를 위해 전국 15개 중·고등학교 남녀학생을 대상으로 구글문서 설문지 프로그램을 활용하여 450명의 자료를 수집하였고, SPSS 프로그램을 사용하여 신뢰도분석, t-test, 상관관계분석, 다중회귀분석을 실시하였다. 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 성차별 요인의 차이 분석 결과 학교수준은 평가부당성, 교사편향성, 역할차별성이, 학생성별은 수업불평등이, 교사성별은 처벌부당성, 수업불평등, 역할차별성이 유의한 차이가 있었다. 둘째, 교과태도의 차이 분석 결과 학교수준은 긍정적 정서, 건강과 체력, 신체활동과 움직임, 대인관계가, 학생성별은 긍정적 정서, 건강과 체력, 능동적 참여와 적극적 수행이 유의한 차이가 있었다. 셋째, 성차별 요인과 체육교과태도의 관계 분석 결과 긍정적 정서에는 평가부당성이, 건강과 체력에는 평가부당성, 수업불평등, 교사편향성이, 신체활동과 움직임, 대인관계에는 평가부당성이, 능동적 참여와 적극적 수행에는 처벌부당성이 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이와 같은 연구 결과는 혼성 체육 수업 상황에서 발생하는 성차별 감소 및 개선에 관한 기초 자료를 제공하고, 남학생, 여학생, 교사 모두가 양성평등 의식을 함양하여 성차별 없는 체육 수업 환경을 마련하는 데 도움이 될 수 있을 것이다. The purpose of this study was to investigate the gender discrimination factors that students perceived in coed physical education class and to analyzes how these discrimination factors affect their attitudes toward physical education(PE). Four hundred fifty middle and high school students completed an online survey through Google Doc. Reliability test for survey question, t-test, correlation analysis between demographic characteristics and the gender discrimination factors, and multiple-regression analysis were performed through SPSS program. The results of this study are as follows: First, there were significant differences in a) evaluation unfairness, teacher bias, and role discrimination at school level, b) in class inequality in the student gender, and c) in injustice of punishment, class inequality, role discrimination in the teacher gender. Second, as a results of analysis of different attitude towards PE, this study found significant differences in a) positive emotions, health and fitness, physical activity and movement, and interpersonal relationships at school level, and b) in positive emotions, health and fitness, active participation, and performance in the student gender. Third, as a result of correlation analysis between gender discrimination factors and attitudes toward PE, there were a significant relationship a) between evaluation unfairness and positive emotion, b) between evaluation unfairness, class inequality, and teacher bias in health and fitness, c) between physical activity and movement, interpersonal relationship, and evaluation unfairness, d) between active participation and performance and unfair punishment. The findings of this study provide meaningful information to decrease gender discrimination in coed PE, and help improve students’ and teachers’ awareness of the gender equality to create gender discrimination learning environment.
