      • 국제청소년성취포상제 활동경험과 시민성과의 관계

        본 연구는 국제청소년성취포상제에 참여한 청소년들의 활동경험 후 효과에 대하여 요인화 하고, 활동경험이 시민성에 미치는 영향에 대하여 밝혀보고자 한다. 연구대상자는 참여하기를 희망하거나 활동경험이 있는 청소년들을 임의 선정하여 설문지를 배부한 후 최종적으로 132부를 분석하였다. 본 연구에서 얻어진 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 국제청소년성취포상제 활동경험이 있고, 적극적일수록 시민성 발달에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 국제청소년성취포상제 활동 효과 변인 중 책임감과 의사결정능력은 시민성에 통계적으로 유의미한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 국제청소년성취포상제는 활동 참여 청소년이 스스로 자신이 실천할 수 있는 활동 목표를 세우고 세부계획서를 작성한 후 실행한 활동 내용을 활동기록과 보고서에 작성하도록 되어 있는 자기주도적 활동이다. 그러므로 포상담당관과 전문지도자들은 다양한 프로그램을 제공하여 공동체 활동을 통해 사회구성원이 되기 위해 준비하는 청소년이 아니라 다가올 사회의 시민으로서 준비된 청소년이 될 수 있도록 정보제공자와 조력자로서의 역할을 충실히 해야 할 것이다. This study aims to define elements that represent benefits for adolescents who participated in the Duke of Edinburgh`s Award programs and identify the effects of their experiences on citizenship. Questionnaires were distributed to samples taken at random from adolescents with desire to participate or actual experience of participation, and 132 copies of responses were returned and analyzed. The result of the study is as follows; Firstly, it was found that participation in the Duke of Edinburgh`s Award program had positive effects on the development of citizenship. In addition, more enthusiasm of the participants translated into more positive contribution to the development of citizenship. Secondly, among variables having effect on participation on the Duke of Edinburgh`s Award program, it was found that sense of responsibility and decision-making capability had statistically significant effect on citizenship. The Duke of Edinburgh`s Award is a programs of self-governed activities that enables participating adolescents to set up objectives on their own, develop specific plan to achieve them and document their activities in journals and reports. Therefore, award supervisors and professional instructors, as sources of information and support, need to provide adolescents with a variety of programs designed to help them prepare themselves in community activities to become prepared citizens of the society of tomorrow rather than mere members of the society.

        휴대폰을 사용한 청소년 자녀에 대한 어머니의 생활 모니터링과 부모역할 효능감이 자녀의 문제행동에 미치는 영향

        The purpose of this study is to research the effects of monitoring of adolescents with cell phones and parenting efficacy on the problem behaviors recognized by parents. 179 mothers of adolescents in their 50s living in three cities of South Gyeongsang Province(Daegu, Ulsan and Busan) were surveyed for this study. The tool to measure the parental monitoring of adolescents which had been used for the study of Weisskirch(2009) was translated and redesigned into 22 questions by Lim(2010) to assess the parental monitoring of adolescents. The 8 questions which had been made by Koo Kye-hee(2009) and Kim Mi-sook(2005) based on the Development and Utility of the Parenting efficacy of Competence Scale of Gibaud and Wandersman(1978) were used to assess the parenting sense. A simple scale on problem behavior which consists of 7 questions was applied to assess the parental recognition of problem behavior of children based on the preliminary study. The multi-regressional analysis and ANOVA test were performed on the responses from the survey. The results of analysis showed that the parents in their 40s and 50s had significantly higher average scores in the problem behavior of children than those in their 30s. The total scores on monitoring and other subcategorical variables such as school life, moral education, everyday life and parenting efficacy were found out to have statistically significant negative correlations with problem behaviors, which was significantly persuasive according to the survey. The higher the total scores of monitoring and parenting efficacy were, the statistically lower the level of problem behaviors were. The survey results demonstrated that the monitoring of adolescents through cell phones have positive aspects on adolescents and interactions with parenting efficacy. The parental monitoring activities and the importance and effects of parenting efficacy to reduce the problem behaviors of adolescents need to be studied further.

      • 국제청소년성취포상제 활동경험과 진로성숙도와의 관계

        본 연구는 국제청소년성취포상제에 참여한 청소년들의 활동경험이 진로성숙에 미치는 영향에 대하여 밝혀보고자 하였다. 본 연구의 대상자는 경기도, 충북, 경남, 대구, 부산, 울산에 거주하며 국제청소년성취포상제에 참여하기를 희망하거나 활동경험이 있는 청소년들을 임의 선정하여 설문지를 배부한 후 최종적으로 153부를 분석하였다. 연구결과와 논의를 중심으로 얻은 결론은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 국제청소년성취포상제에 참여한 청소년들은 진로성숙도에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 국제청소년성취포상제에 적극적으로 참여한 청소년일수록 진로성숙도에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 국제청소년성취포상제 활동 효과변인 중 대인관계능력이 진로성숙에 통계적으로 유의미한 영항을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 국제청소년성취포상제는 청소년들이 스스로 선택해서 활동을 해 나가는데 큰 의미가 있다고 본다. 그러므로 국제청소년성취포상제에 대해 지역사회에서 더 많은 청소년들이 활동에 참여할 수 있도록 정보나 장소, 프로그램 등의 지원이 필요하며, 청소년지도자나 포상담당관들의 다양한 연수를 통해 전문성을 확보하고 청소년들이 국제청소년성취포상제에 더욱 적극적으로 활동할 수 있도록 조력해야 할 것이다. This study aims to identify the influence of adolescents` experience in the activities of the Duke of Edinburgh`s Award on their career maturity. The subjects were randomly recruited from adolescents living in Gyeonggi-do, Chungcheongbuk-do, Gyeongsangnam-do, Daegu, Busan, and Ulsan who have experienced or wish to participate in the activities of the Duke of Edinburgh`s Award. Survey questionnaires were sent to them and a total of 153 responses were analyzed. Conclusion drawn based on the findings and discussions is as follows. First, it was found that participation in the Duke of Edinburgh`s Award had positive influence on adolescents` career maturity. Second, participants who were more active in the activities of the Duke of Edinburgh`s Award showed more positive outcomes in career maturity. Third, interpersonal skills out of effect variables of the activities of the Duke of Edinburgh`s Award was statistically significant in career maturity. What is significant about the Duke of Edinburgh`s Award is the fact that participants can choose the activities themselves. Therefore, local communities not only need to provide supports like information, places, and programs in order to encourage more teenagers to learn of and join the Duke of Edinburgh`s Award, but also secure professionals by offering various training sessions for youth workers and DofE leaders and help young people more actively performing in the Duke of Edinburgh`s Award.
