Objective: Bisphosphonate related osteonecrosis of the jaw (BRONJ) is reported in patients taken bisphosphonate for a long time, however, the mechanism of osteonecrosis in BRONJ was not clarified yet. This study was designed to investigate the effect of short administraion zoledronate on the healing pattern of periosteum and sinus membrane after iliac bone graft into maxillary sinus. Methods: In this study, 18 Newzeland rabbits were used. The animals were divided into 2 group. In the experimental group, rabbits were treated with weekly peritoneal injection (0.06 mg/kg/week) of zoledronate for three times. In the control group, rabbits were treated with saline solution injection instead of zoledronate. Periosteum and sinus membrane were harvested from one rabbit of the experimental group and one of the control group in the fourth week. The autogeneous bone was harvested from ilium and grafted into maxillary sinus. The rabbits were sacrificed at 1, 2, 4 and 8 weeks after bone graft. The healing pattern of periosteum and sinus membrane were evaluated histologically. Results: Inflammatory reaction in the periosteum was less conspicuous and healing process appeared earlier in experimental group compared with control group at 1, 2, 4 weeks. There were no differences of microscopic findings of sinus membrane between both groups at any weeks. Conclusion: Short-term use of zoledronate decreased the inflammatory reaction and enhanced healing process in the periosteum. These findings suggest the possibility that zoledronte suppress the function of macrophages.

도시고속도로 진출램프와 간선도로 통합신호제어모형 개발

Most off-ramps on urban freeways are generally connected with urban arterial roads which are controlled by traffic signals. In other words, the off-ramp traffic volumes are strongly influenced by the traffic conditions at downstream roads; increasing traffic volumes on downstream roads can cause queue growing on off-ramps and consequently affect flows on highway mainlines. Therefore, it is necessary to develop a control strategy for enhancing the off-ramp capacity and hence, minimizing the delay of vicinity intersections. In this study, a combined signal control model for minimizing total delay of off-ramps and connected downstream arterial roads is developed, in this ways, the proposed model can prevent queue expanding towards the highway mainlines. The studied model calculates an optimal signal time at off-ramp intersections by using linear programming with variables of traffic volumes, link length, queue length, etc. The simulation results show that the combined signal control model can increase the throughput close to the saturation flow and decrease the average delay of whole links. 일반적으로 도시고속도로 진출램프는 접속가로의 신호교차로 구간에 위치하기 때문에 접속가로의 교통장황에 크게 영향을 받는다. 접속가로의 교통량 증가는 도시고속도로 진출교통량에 영향을 주어 진출램프 대기행렬의 증가로 이어져 도시고속도로 본선구간까지 영향을 미치게 된다. 따라서, 도시고속도로 진출램프의 용량을 증대시키는 적극적인 제어를 통해 고속도로 본선구간의 기능을 향상시킴은 물론 접속가로를 포함 주변 교차로의 지체시간을 최소화시키는 제어전략이 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 도시고속도로 진출램프 제어전략으로 진출램프 대기행렬의 도시고속도로 본선구간 역류방지를 통해 본선구간의 용량을 증대하고 진출램프와 접속되는 가로의 지체시간을 최소화하는 통합신호제어모형을 개발하였다. 본 연구모형은 도시고속도로 진출램프와 간선도로의 교통량, 링크길이, 대기행렬길이 등을 변수로 링크의 지체시간을 최소화하면서 간선도로 교차로와의 연동제어가 가능한 진출램프 교차로의 신호시간을 선형계획법을 통해 제시하게 된다. 시뮬레이션 수행결과 본 연구에서 제시된 진출램프 제어전략은 포화도에 근접한 링크의 통과교통량을 증가시키면서 링크전체의 평균지체시간을 감소시키는 것으로 나타났다.

클라우드 환경에서 데이터 중복제거를 활용한 효율적인 데이터 동기화 알고리즘 설계

빅 데이터의 시대가 도래 하면서 데이터의 양이 기하급수적으로 중가 하고 있으며, 이에 따라 데이터를 효율적으로 처리하는 기술의 중요성이 부각 되고 있다. 데이터를 효율적으로 처리하기 위한 기술 중 하나인, 데이터 중복제거 기술은 저장 시스템 공간을 효율적으로 사용 할 수 있게 할 뿐만 아니라, 네트워크 환경에서 전송되는 데이터의 양도 획기적으로 줄여 주어 통신비용을 절감하게 한다. 기존의 데이터 중복제거 기술과 데이터 동기화 기법을 분석하고, 이를 바탕으로 클라우드 환경에서 데이터 중복제거를 통한 효율적인 데이터 동기화 기법을 제안하고자 한다.

그레마스 이론에 의한 전시디자인의 의미작용에 관한 연구 -키슬러의 금세기의 예술 전시디자인을 중심으로-

(연구배경 및 목적) 전시디자인은 인간의 내적 욕구에서 비롯된 하나의 행위이다. 그리고 문화에 따라 전시디자인의 속성 또한 영역의 구분 없이 끊임없이 변화하고 있다. 이러한 시점에서 전시디자인이 갖는 의미구조를 해석하기 위한 이론적 모델이 제시되어야 할 시점이 되었다. 이에 비(非)언어적 공간에 대한 해석적 담론이 가능한 그레마스의 기호학적 사변형을 토대로 전시디자인의 심층적 의미작용 분석과 이론이 지니고 있는 담론의 유용성을 제시하고자 한다. (연구범위) 연구 예제로 전시디자인의 획기적 전환점이 되었던 키슬러의 ‘금세기의 예술’전의 4개 전시디자인을 대상으로 의소와 기표, 기의를 도출하여 그레마스의 기호학적 사변형에 의한 3층구조를 바탕으로 분석하였다. (결과) 연구 결과 ‘금세기의 예술’전의 의미작용을 위계적으로 해석할 수 있게 되었다. 따라서 그레마스의 기호학적 사변형이 학문적 도구로써의 가치적 유의미함을 입증하였으며, 일반적 전시디자인의 의미와 구별되는 담론을 제시할 수 있음을 확인하였다. (Background and Purpose)Exhibition design is one of many behaviors that originate from human desires. The nature of exhibition design changes constantly according to the relevant culture; however, its evolution is not affected by boundary distinctions. Therefore, a theoretical model to analyze the structural meaning of exhibition design is required. In accordance with A. J. Greimas`s semiotic square, by which an analytic discourse for nonverbal spaces can be made, this study presents an in-depth analysis for signification and usefulness of the theory`s discourse. (Research Scope)As a research exercise, four exhibition designs were examined for their significance regarding exhibition design trends. For example, F.J. Kiesler`s “Art of this Century” was subject to the signifier, ; further, it was analyzed according to Greimas`s semiotic square through a three-level-structure. (Conclusion)Results of this study indicate that, it is possible to interpret hierarchically the connotation of an exhibition. Thus, Greimas`s semiotic square was verified as having meaningful value as an academic tool; additionally, its distinctiveness among general exhibition designs was confirmed.

Coastal cargo shipping is regarded as environmentally friendly and less costly compared to other transport modes: therefore, many developed countries endeavor to activate coastal cargo shipping. In Korea, a couple of policies are suggested for coastal cargo shipping; however, shippers' aspects seem to be neglected or not analyzed. In this regard, this study aims to identify barriers in the coastal cargo shipping, in respect to shippers' aspects. To find out the reasons shippers hesitate to use coastal cargo shipping, we made a questionnaire and surveyed. <br/> We found out some meaningful points in this study as the followings.<br/> First, the proportion of using the coastal cargo shipping is very low. Second, the shippers give weights on time and costs factor, and their preference for punctuality and stability of the transportation services is extremely high. Third, the shippers believe that improvement of the services of the coastal cargo shipping is very important in national logistics system although most do not use currently. They also believe that the success of coastal cargo shipping lies in whether it can transport the huge amount of cargos with lowest costs. Finally, the most important factor, when they choose the transport mode, is the punctuality and stability of the transportation services.

탈모방법과 성별이 돈육질 및 냉장저장성에 미치는 영향

본 연구는 도축과정 중 탕침법과 박피법의 탈모기법이 돈육질에 미치는 영향을 분석하고 이를 통해 생산된 식육의 냉장 저장성에 미치는 효과를 규명하고자 실시하였다. 탈모기법에 따른 온도체중과 등지방은 탕박을 실시한 처리구가 박피 처리구보다 높은 수치를 나타내었으며 등심 근의 온도에서도 등지방이 두껍고 도체중이 무거웠던 탕박 거세돈이 가장 높은 수치를 나타내었다. pH와 육색에서는 처리구 간 유의적인 차이를 보이지 않았지만 보수력의 경우는 탕박과 박피 처리에 따른 차이가 뚜렷하게 나타났으며 탕박법에 의해 탈모된 처리구에서 보수력이 저하되는 것으로 분석되었다. 냉장 저장 중 지방산패에 의한 TBA 측정의 변화를 분석한 결과 저장 1일 탕박 거세 돈의 경우가 가장 높게 나타났으나 다른 처리구와 더불어 대부분 신선한 상태를 유지하였다. Metmyoglobin의 경우 저장일 별 처리구 간 유의적인 차이를 보이지 않았으나 TBA측정치의 변화와 유사한 경향을 보였다. 총균수의 경우도 처리구 간 유의적 차이를 보이진 않았으며 저장 7일과 14일 사이에 급속하게 미생물이 증식하는 것으로 관찰되었고 14일 이후에는 완전 부패하였다. The aims of this work were to compare the effects of dehairing methods and sex on pork quality and cold storage stability. For this study, one half of40 pigs were dehaired by scalding in the same abattoir, and the other half by dehiding. Each treatment consisted of one half gilts and one half castrated male pigs. Meat quality traits were measured at 24 hr after slaughter, and thiobarbituric acid (TBA), metmyoglobin contents and total plate counts (TPC) were evaluated at 1, 7, 14 and 21 days of cold storage. The carcass weight and backfat thickness of pigs dehaired by scalding were significantly higher than those dehided (p<0.05). Compared to scalded carcasses, dehided carcasses had a lower longissimus dorsi muscle temperature (p<0.05). Furthermore, dehided carcasses had significantly lower drip loss than scalded carcasses (p<0.05). However, meat color parameters were not affected by the dehairing method. During cold storage, TBA values of scalded carcasses were slightly higher initially, whereas the dehided carcasses had higher TBA values at 21 days (p<0.05). The total plate counts (TPC) associated with scalding and dehiding treatment were not significantly different at any point during cold storage. The TPC exponentially increased in both scalded and dehided carcasses from 7 to 14 days of cold storage.
