        노인 임플란트 보험 급여화 후 일부 치과위생사의 근무환경 및 구강보건교육의 변화

        Objectives: This study was conducted to confirm the changes in the dental hygienist s working environment and oral health education after insurance coverage for elderly implants. Methods: This study surveyed 215 dental hygienists with clinical experiences of more than 4 years of working in dental hospitals (SPSS ver. 23.0, p<0.05). Results: There was no significant change in the dental hygienist s work environment after the elderly implant insurance coverage, and most dental hygienists responded positively to the implant insurance coverage. Regardless of the benefits of elderly implant insurance, the contents of knowledge transfer related to implants did not change and were evenly covered. Conclusions: In the future, as the proportion of the elderly population is increasing, an effective oral health education system using various oral health education media should be prepared.

        Experimental Studies of Wrinkle Formation in the UV Cured Coating Around Film-Substrate Insterface

        자외선 경화코팅 필름-기질 계면에서의 견딤성에 대하여 조사하였다. 특히, UV 경화 우레탄 아크릴레이트계 배합물에서 모노머 및 올리고머의 코팅필름 주름현상에 미치는 영향은 조사하였다. 실험결과, 주름현상은 DMTA이 손실모듈러스 피크가 넓고 shouldr가 있을수록 덜 나타났다. 특히, 변성된 방향족 우레탄 아크릴레이트를 지방족계에 첨가하므로서 hard하면서도 flexible한 코팅필름을 얻을 수 있음을 알 수 있었다. 따라서 주름현상 방지효과는 높은 손실모듈러스값 때문인 것으로 나타났다. SEM 및 instron 실험결과도 위의 결론을 입증하고 있음을 알 수 있었다. The durability of UV radiation cured coatings near the film-substrate interface has been studied. Particularly, the influence of the reactive diluent and oligomer in the UV-cured urethane acrylate formulation on the wrinkle formation of coating films was investigated. Results showed that wrinkle resistance increases when DMTA loss peaks of coating network are broad and has shoulder. When modified aromatic urethane acrylate oligomer is used to replace the aliphatic one, resulting cured network provides coating film of high hardness and flexibility. Therefore, the high values of loss modulus as low temperature are considered to be the main reason for wrinkle resistance improvements. The SEM and instron data support above conclusion.

        치과위생사의 대학시절 의료윤리과목 수강여부가 의료정보보호 동의정도 및 실천도에 미치는 영향

        Objectives: The objective of this study was to identify the effect of dental hygienist’s ethic course attendance on medical information protection agreement and practice and to analyze the relevant factors. Methods: The study population consisted of 125 active dental hygienists. Each medical information protection agreement measurement tool and medical information protection practice measurement tool consisted of 21 items for a total of 42 items. A multiple regression analysis was performed to determine the factors affecting the degree of medical information protection agreement and practice. Results: There was significant differences in the mean values of degree of dental hygienist’s medical information protection agreement and practice, showing the higher agreement score being correlated with higher practice score (p<0.05). Among dental hygienists who attended ethics courses, those with longer work experience tended to show higher degree of medical information protection agreement and practice (p<0.05). Conclusions: It is determined that in order to improve the degree of medical information protection agreement and practice among dental hygienists, dental hygiene curriculum should add additional instructional hours to the relevant courses to the curriculum, and at the same time, it is necessary to continue to train current active dental hygienists through continuing professional education and new dental hygienist education.

        스팀 및 석탄 주입량 변화에 따른 2단 석탄 가스화기의 성능 평가

        IGCC technology has been drawing attention as the upcoming alternative energy source to generate electric power for a few decades. It is because its higher efficiency and possibilities for using low rank coal and adapting carbon capture and storage. In this research, Pilot scale two-stage gasifier was used to evaluate the performance. The produced syn-gas qualities like temperature, composition and flow rate were monitored to find the effect of different coal feed rates and supplied steam quantities on the gasifier performance. And, the ABK coal from Indonesia was selected for the test as one of the sub bituminous coals. Coal feed rates to the second stage burners were changed from 10% to 90% of supplied coal to the main burners. The results demonstrate that increasing steam and coal feed rate to the second stage burners make the temperature of produced syngas reduce. Furthermore, the composition of syngas was also changed. H<SUB>2</SUB>(hydrogen) and CO<SUB>2</SUB>(carbon dioxide) was increased but CO(carbon monoxide) and CH<SUB>4</SUB>(methane) was decreased. In the case of cold gas efficiency was increased slightly as the steam and coal feed rate increased. Through this research, coal feed rate to the second stage burners was recommended up to 30% of total coal feed rate.

        Elbows in piping systems, which are designed to absorb energy by plastic deformation under an excessive external load, are vulnerable to cyclic deformation and related damage during beyond design basis earthquake (BDBE) events. Thus, understanding the deformation and failure behaviors of pipe elbows under large amplitude seismic loads is important to evaluate the structural integrity of piping system under BDBE condition. In this study, therefore, the present study performs excitation tests on elbow specimen using a shaking table under two types of input accelerations simulating excessive seismic loading. In the tests, two types of elbow materials were used and pressurized and unpressurized conditions were regarded. From the results, the effect of excessive seismic loads on the cyclic deformation and failure behaviors of pipe elbows for different elbow materials and internal pressures.

        Integrated Gasification Combined Cycle (IGCC) power plant converts coal to syngas, which is mainly composed with hydrogen and carbon monoxide, by the gasification process and produces electric power by the gas and steam turbine combined cycle power plant. The purpose of this study is to investigate the influence of gasification process to type and structure of gasifier. For this purpose, the performance characteristics of gasification reaction are analyzed with the operation characteristic of pilot-scale 2-stage coal gasifier. It is found that gasification reaction, floating characteristic of melted slag, particle stick of inside of the gasifier, particle stick and deposit of Syngas cooler are the causes in the different performance characteristics.

        As operating period of older vintage nuclear power plants increases, many multiple cracks have been found in steam generator tubes made of Alloy600MA, thus a robust predictive model for either burst pressure or coalescence pressure of these multiple cracks in steam generator tubes is highly required. Nothing that steam generator tubes are typically failed by plastic collapse, the crack alignment and combination rules considering this material characteristic of steam generator tubes should be suggested. The objective of this paper is to predict the plastic collapse pressures of non-aligned dual cracks and to propose coalescence criterion based on detailed 3-dimensional (3D) elastic-plastic finite element (FE) analyses. The geometric variables of non-aligned multiple crack in steam generator tubes affecting burst or coalescence pressure, i.e. circumferential and longitudinal distances between two cracks and crack length of each crack, are systematically varied. Using the present FE results, the crack interaction effect of non-aligned multiple cracks are assessed and new alignment and combination criteria of non-aligned multiple cracks of steam generator tubes are also proposed.

        셀룰라 네트워크에서 게임 이론을 이용한 핸드오프 기법

        셀룰러 네트워크 시스템에서 성능 품질을 평가하기 위한 가장 중요한 측정 기준 중의 하나는 평균 호 절단(average call drops)수이다. 따라서 사용자에게 만족할 만한 통신 품질을 제공받기 위해서는 사용자가 이동하더라도 서비스 중인 활성 호(active call)가 통신 도중에 절단되지 않고 성공적으로 수행 완료되도록 하는 것이 중요하다. 핸드오프는 임의의 기지국에서 또 다른 기지국으로 활성 호를 중계 할 때 끊기는 현상 없이 연결의 연속성을 보장하여 셀룰러 시스템의 신뢰성을 높이는 기법이다. 본 논문에서는 게임 이론을 이용한 핸드오프 기법과 서비스품질 효용 함수(QoS utility function)를 제안하여 활성 호가 SIR(signal-to-interference ratio)이 높고 가용 채널 수가 많은 기지국으로 전달될 수 있도록 하였다. In cellular network systems one of the most significant quality metrics to measure quality of performance is the average number of call drops in a system. It ensures that the active calls in the system are successfully completed without being dropped in the mid communication for ultimate customer satisfaction. Hand-off mechanism increases cellular system reliability by seamless continuation of active calls by transferring active calls from one base station to another. In this paper, we study and propose a simple hand-off mechanism using game theory. We conclude that using the simple QoS utility function proposed in this paper, our optimal deterministic hand-off strategy is to transfer the active calls to the base station with greater signal-to-interference ratio (SIR) and greater number of available channels.

        Objectives: The study on dental fear has increased recently. Studies found that people with high dental fear and or anxiety were less likely to visit dentists. The aim of this study is to review the trend of study on dental fear and to analyse the major factors related to dental fear. Methods: Seventy four papers listed in Korea Citation Index and SCI(E) were assessed. Quality Assessment and Validity Tool for Correlation Studies (QAVTCS) and Dental Fear Study (DFS) were used in this study. SPSS 12.0 was employed to analyse the descriptive statistics, t-test and Multiple Linear Regression (MLR) with stepwise. Results: The total mean score of QAVTCS for international studies was significantly higher than domestic studies (P=.001). The mean scores of item, ``Seeing the anesthetic needle`` and ``Feeling the anesthetic needle``, were severe level (Means= 3.05, 3.14, severe>3.00). According to the MLR, the powerful predisposing factors (independent variable) on ``Overall fear of dentistry (dependent variable)`` were ``Hearing the drill`` (P<.01) and ``Having teeth cleaned`` (P<.05). Conclusions: It was concluded that people had high dental fear in direct dental treatment environment such as contact with seeing anesthetic needle and hearing dental drill. Therefore, this study suggests the need to map out specific and multidirectional plan for decreasing dental fear.
