강녕탕(康寧湯)의 LPS 질내 주입 생쥐에 미치는 항염증(抗炎症) 효과

Objective: We made the genital organs inflammatory mice model by vaginal injection of Lipopolysaccharide(LPS), and we intended to make study about anti-inflammatory effects of Gangyeong-Tang, among oral and rectal medication and Herbal-Acupuncture treatment. Method: The female ICR(20-30g) mice were used, the temperature was controlled within $22{\pm}0.5^{\circ}C$ and water and food was not limited. The environment was manipulated to simulate 12 hours of day and 12 hours of night. After LPS injection into vagina, we confirmed on-set of inflammation. 2 days before LPS injection, we started to medicate Gangyeong-Tang in Oral and Rectal and Aqua-acupucture treatment. After 3days from LPS injection, we mesured the White Blood Cell(WBC), Interrleukin-6(IL-6), Tumor Necrosis Factor-${\alpha}$(TNF-${\alpha}$) in blood which was collected from the Retro-orbital Plexus. Results: 1. We made the genital organs inflammatory mice model by vaginal injection of LPS successfully. 2. The number of WBC was decreased significantly as we medicated Gangyeong- Tang in Oral 1g/kg dose, 3g/kg dose and Rectal 1g/kg dose, rectal 3g/kg dose. 3. The concentration of IL-6 was decreased significantly as we medicated Gangyeong-Tang in all group of the Oral, Rectal, Herbal-Acupuncture treatment. 4. The concentration of TNF-${\alpha}$ was decreased significantly as we medicated Gangyeong-Tang in Oral 3g/kg dose and Rectal 1g/kg dose, Rectal 3g/kg dose group. Herbal-Acupuncture treatment group datas showed reductive tendency. Conclusion: As a result of this experiment, we made the genital organs inflammatory mice model by vaginal injection of LPS successfully and demonstrated anti-inflammatory effect of Gangyeong-Tang.

In the practical design, it is important to extract the design space information of a complex system in order to optimize the design because the design contains huge amount of design conflicts in general. In this research FEA (finite element analysis) has been successfully implemented and integrated with a statistical approach such as DOE (design of experiments) based RSM (response surface model) to optimize the thermal deformation of an automotive disk brake. The DOE is used for exploring the engineer's design space and for building the RSM in order to facilitate the effective solution of multi-objective optimization problems. The RSM is utilized as an efficient means to rapidly model the trade-off among many conflicting goals existed in the FEA applications. To reduce the computational burden associated with the FEA, the second-order regression models are generated to derive the objective functions and constraints. In this approach, the multiple objective functions and constraints represented by RSM are solved using the sequential quadratic programming to archive the optimal design of disk brake.

Optimization technique to find a path of an inner reinforcement of an automobile hood is proposed by using design sensitivity informations. The strength and modal characteristics of the automobile hood are analyzed and their design sensitivity analyses with respect to the thickness are carried out using MSC/NASTRAN. Based on the design sensitivity analysis, determination of design variables and response functions is discussed. Techniques improving design from design sensitivity informations are suggested and the double-layer method is newly proposed to optimize the path of stiffener for a shell structure, Using the suggested method, we redesign a new inner reinforcement of an automobile hood and compare the responses with the original design. It is confirmed that new design improved in the frequency responses without the weight increasement.

Objective : This discussion was performed in order to find a meaning of Mahwang, Gyeji, Sesin, Buja and Related Prescriptions connected to the distribution problem of body fluid caused by inflammation. Methods : The pharmacological effects of the prescriptions including Mahwang, Gyeji, Sesin, Buja and these herbs which are used as an individual case were investigated literally. Results : Mahwang, Gyeji, Sesin, Buja and the prescriptions including these herbs have the effect of strengthening heart and increasing cardiac output. Therefore it can be thought that the effect of distributing body fluid is included in the Mahwang, Gyeji, Sesin, Buja and Related Prescriptions. And especially the effect of mahwang could not be restricted to the diaphoretic effect. The effect of Mahwang could be interpreted as the distributing body fluid effect through the stimulation of sympathetic nervous system and inhibition of parasympathetic system. Conclusion : Mahwang, Gyeji Sesin and Buja and related prescriptions have the effect of distributing body fluid via stimulation of sympathetic system.
유수정체 안내후방렌즈삽입술 후 망막신경섬유층 두께 측정값의 변화

Purpose: In the present study we evaluated the changes of measured retinal nerve fiber layer (RNFL) thickness using optical coherence tomography (OCT) after phakic intraocular lens (implantable collamer lens, ICL) implantation and analyzed the factors correlated with the changes of measured RNFL thickness. Methods: Forty eyes of 40 patients (Group A: 20 patients using spectral domain OCT and Group B: 20 patients using time domain OCT) who underwent ICL implantation were included in this study. RNFL thickness was measured 1 week before surgery and 1 month postoperatively using OCT. The changes of measured RNFL thickness and the correlation between patients' data were analyzed. Results: The postoperative measured RNFL thickness of the average, inferior, temporal, and superior quadrants were increased compared to preoperative measured RNFL thickness in Group A. Group B had similar results in the average, inferior, and superior quadrants (<em>p</em> < 0.05). However, the postoperative changes of RNFL measurements were not correlated with the preoperative spherical equivalent, the degree of spherical equivalent change and diopters of implanted lens (<em>p</em> > 0.05). Conclusions: The measured RNFL thickness after ICL implantation may increase compared to the preoperative value. Caution should be taken when interpreting the RNFL thickness values measured by OCT in patients with myopia who undergo ICL implantation. J Korean Ophthalmol Soc 2014;55(5):702-710

This work presents an analytical model, so called modified LMTD method, to predict the thermal performance of finned-tube heat exchanger under frosting conditions. In this model, the total heat transfer coefficient and effective thermal conductivity of the frost layer were defined as a function of frost surface temperature. The surface temperature of the frost layer formed on the heat exchanger was calculated through the analysis of the heat and mass transfer process in the air and frost layer. To examine the validity of this analytical model, the computed results from the present model, such as heat transfer rate, frost mass and thickness of frost, were compared with the ones of the expermental work and LMED method.
