This study aims to improve make-up artistry by combining elements of Cubism to suggest creative make-up designs. We investigated specialized books, thesis, and online materials about Cubism, and classified its painting features and expressional techniques. Then, we selected the most influential Cubists and created 8 make-up designs inspired by their works. Analytic Cubism contains various views on one screen, but, using transparency, it is possible to see multiple images despite them overlapping. Collages of comprehensive Cubism use various materials including different types of paper. Picasso and Braque - founders of Cubism - were selected, and four works from each artist were studied. Ambiguities between background and object were shown due to multiview expressions and de-construction/reconstruction of analytic Cubism. In comprehensive Cubism, colors that disappeared were introduced again along with letters to allow the visualization of simplified structures. Next, make-up works were created from these analyses. This study was based on Cubism`s expressional techniques and most influential artists. Future studies can be combined to offer additional concepts combining art and make-up. We expect that this would increase the artistry and originality of make-up.
지렁이 중장에서 발현되는 Endo-$\beta$-1,4-glucanase의 동정 및 특성에 관한 연구

지렁이 (Eisenia andrei)의 중장에서 내생의 endoglucanase 유전자의 전체 염기 서열을 동정하였다. ORF의 길이는 1,371 bp이며, 456개의 아미노산으로 번역된다. NCBI에 등록된 가재와 흰개미의 cellulase 및 endo-$\beta$-1, 4-glucanase와 50-51%의 유사성을 보이며, 활성 부위가 잘 보존되어 있었다. 계통수 분석에서는 다른 동물 분류군에서 밝혀진 GHF9 그룹의 cellulase와 근연관계가 없음이 확인되었다. Endogeneous endoglucanase (EC 3.2.1.4) cDNA was cloned from a representative species (Eisenia anderi) of the earthworm family Lumbricidae. Endoglucanase from the midgut of the earthworm is composed of 456 amino acids and belongs to glycosyl hydrolase family 9 (GHF9), sharing high homologies (50-51 %) with those of selected termite and crayfish. This endoglucanase consists of three consensus catalytic domains found in most microbial cellulases. A phylogenetic tree was constructed using the amino acid squence data matched through the BLASTX program and showed that GHF9 families could be divided into four groups of arthropoda, bacteria, plant and annelida.
지렁이 꼬리재생시 Plasminogen Activator의 발현양상과 특성에 관한 연구

Plasmin, one of the protease degrading extracellular matrix, plays an important role during earthworm tail regeneration. So we should know abount plasminogen activator(PA) which converts plasminogen to activated plasmin. We performed fibrin-autography experiment to see the expression and characterization of PA during earthworm tail regeneration. We could detect the PA activities by clear bands on the cloudy fibrin-agar indicator gel. In expression pattern, PA was detected earlier stages than those of plasmin. It showed that PA activate plasminogen to activated plasmin. There were some characteristics of PA during earthworm tail regeneration. first, PA plays a key role in fibfinolytic activity. second, PA has a fibrinolytic activity of itself. third, PA is a serine proteinase. forth, PA is no urokinase-type plasminogen activator. It could be tissue type-PA. fifth, PA activities relied on Ca^2 +ion, sixth, PA has molecular weight of 47kDa and 40kDa. Based on these results, we could know about expression and characterization PA during earthworm tail regeneration. now, we are trying to find out the relationship between PA and plasminogen activator inhibitor (PAI) which inhibited PA.
