This study is object to structural analysis and characteristics compare of rope brake by spring type. The ANSYS code was used for this analysis. In order to characteristics compare of rope brake by spring type, one direction rope brake and dual direction rope brake were compared.

There has been an increased interest in the Longitudinally Profiled(LP) plate as a structural element for bridges, due to its advantage to efficiently distribute the sectional force applied to the structure. The advantage also includes the reduction of weight and the number of welding points. The LP plate was originally developed in Europe, and the application has since increased rapidly on steel bridges in Europe and Japan. Though widely used internationally, much of the study for the structural application of the LP plate is yet to be performed. In this paper, the workability of the LP plate was evaluated by the tests for tensile and bending. In addition, the stability was reviewed and verified by a comparison between experimental and analytical results. The economical efficiency was also examined for different section types by finite element analysis.
