        덮개 함수를 이용한 강건 최적설계의 제한 조건 단일화

        Design variables and design parameters are rarely deterministic in practice. Robust optimal design takes into consideration of the uncertainties in the design variables and parameters. Robust optimization methodology with probability constraints requires a lot of system analyses fer calculating failure probability of each constraint. By introducing an envelope function to reduce the number of constraints, efficiency of robust optimization techniques can be considerably improved. Through four illustrative examples, it is shown that the number of system analyses is greatly decreased while little differences in the optimum results are observed.

      • Current Mode Signaling 방법을 이용한 $0.18{\mu}m$ CMOS 3.2-Gb/s 4-PAM Serial Link Receiver

        본 논문은 $0.18{\mu}m$ CMOS 공정을 이용하여 3.2 Gb/s serial link receiver를 설계하였다. High-speed links의 performance를 제한하는 가장 큰 요소는 transmission channel bandwidth, timing uncertainty가 있다. 이러한 문제점을 해결하기 위한 방법으로 multi-level signaling(4-PAM)을 이용하였다. 추가적으로 전송속도를 높이고 BER를 낮추기 위한 방법으로 current-mode amplifier, CML sampling latch를 사용하였다. 4-PAM receiver의 최대 데이터 전송속도는 3.2 Gb/s이다. BER은 $1.0{\times}10^{-12}$ 이하이며 chip size는 $0.5\;{\times}\;0.6\;mm^2$이고 1.8 V supply voltage에서 49mA current를 소모한다. The design of a 3.2 Gb/s serial link receiver in $0.18{\mu}m$ CMOS process is presented. The major factors limiting the performance of high-speed links are transmission channel bandwidth, timing uncertainty. The design uses a multi-level signaling(4-PAM) to overcome these problems. Moreover, to increase data bit-rate and lower BER, we designed this circuit by using a current mode amplifier, Current-mode Logic(CML) sampling latches. The 4-PAM receiver achieves 3.2 Gb/s and BER is less than $1.0\;{\times}\;10^{-12}$. The $0.5\;{\times}\;0.6\;mm^2$ chip consumes 49 mA at 3.2 Gb/s from a 1.8-V supply.

      • 얼굴의 회전 및 이동 분석에 의한 응시 위치 파악

        본 논문에서는 모니터 위에 설치된 카메라를 통해 입력된 사용자의 2차원 얼굴 영상을 이용하여, 사용자가 모니터 상에 쳐다보고 있는 응시 위치를 파악하는 방법을 제안한다. 본 논문에서는 사용자의 눈동자 움직임은 고려하지 않고 얼굴의 회전 및 이동만을 고려하였다. 제안하는 방법은 얼굴의 회전에 의한 응시위치와 얼굴의 좌우상하 이동량을 각각 계산하여 이 둘을 결합함으로써 모니터상의 응시위치를 추정하는 것이다. 얼굴 특징점의 기하학적 형태변화를 입력으로 하는 신경망(다층 퍼셉트론)을 이용하여 얼굴의 회전에 의한 응시위치를 구하였으며 영상처리 알고리즘을 이용하여 입력영상으로부터 실시간으로 얼굴의 이동량을 추정하였다. 실험결과 19인치 모니터를 사용하고 사용자가 모니터와의 거리를 50~70cm 정도 유지하며 얼굴의 이동 및 회전을 통하여 모니터를 바라볼 때 약 2.11인치의 응시 위치 추정 오차를 보이는 것으로 나타났다. 처리시간은 Pentium PC(233MHz)환경에서 320${\times}$240 화소 크기의 영상을 사용할 때 약 0.7초가 소요되었다. In this paper, we propose a new gaze detection method using 2-D facial images captured by a camera on top of the monitor. We consider only the facial rotation and translation and not the eyes' movements. The proposed method computes the gaze point caused by the facial rotation and the amount of the facial translation respectively, and by combining these two the final gaze point on a monitor screen can be obtained. We detected the gaze point caused by the facial rotation by using a neural network(a multi-layered perceptron) whose inputs are the 2-D geometric changes of the facial features' points and estimated the amount of the facial translation by image processing algorithms in real time. Experimental results show that the gaze point detection accuracy between the computed positions and the real ones is about 2.11 inches in RMS error when the distance between the user and a 19-inch monitor is about 50~70cm. The processing time is about 0.7 second with a Pentium PC(233MHz) and 320${\times}$240 pixel-size images.

        Lcatobacillus casei YIT 9018로 부터 분리한 Prophage Cured Strain의 특성

        Lactobacillus casei HY 2782, prophage cured strain was characterized to be stable as much as L casei YIT 9018, parent strain. By southern hybridization, it was confirmed that the temperate phage was incorporated in chromosomal DNA of L. casei YIT 9018 as a prophage. It was also proved that the prophage was cured from chromosomal DNA of L casei HY 2782. The growth rate, lactic acid producing ability, carbohydrates fermentation, and enzymatic activity of L. casei HY 2782 were found to be similar to those of L. casei YIT 9018. When L casei HY 2782 was used as a host, the multiplicity of infection (M.O.I.) of the temperate phage for L. casei HY 2782 was 1.0~5.0. Restriction enzyme analysis of pLC90 plasmid from L. casei HY 2782 was shown that the size was an approximately 68.22 kb. The plasmid profiles, genomic DNA patterns, and cellular fatty acids composition of L. casei HY 2782 were similar to those of L casei YIT 9018. And the major fatty acids composition of these strains were C$_{14;0}$,C$_{16;1}$, C$_{16;0}$, C$_{18;1}$ and C$_{19;cyclo-}$ 10 sets of arbitrary primer in the PCR were screened to find differentiation against two strains of L. casei. Among them, b$_{5}-1/17-1 primer was produced an approximately 1.3 kb DNA band of only L casei YIT 9018. And b$_{5}-2/17-2 primer was produced an approximately 1.0 kb DNA band of only L casei HY 2782.

        This paper suggests proper parameters of MOSFETs in the basic model of neuron circuit which is previously proposed by our research group. With Floating-Body-Synaptic-Transistor, the neuron circuit constitutes neuromorphic system which can emulate the parallel operation of human brain. Through optimization of device parameters, the neuron circuit can operate with low power consumption and it can be efficiently integrated for high-density neuromorphic system.

        베르톨트 브레히트 시집 『노래 시 합창』 -미학적 전략과 그 본질적 특징

        Am 28.2.1933, einen Tag nach dem Reichstagsbrand, verließ Brecht Deutschland, ging nach Prag ins Exil und schon einen Monat spater begann er die Publikation eines Gedichtbandes vorzubereiten, dessen Gedichte eigentlich als Kampflieder gegen die Nazis gedacht waren. Man sollte daher sein Exil nicht einfach nur als Flucht, sondern als eine Fortfuhrung des Kampfes gegen die Nazis verstehen, den Brecht schon in Deutschland begonnen hatte. Die ≫Lieder, Gedichte [und] Chore≪ erschienen dann ein Jahr spater im Fruhjahr 1934. Dieser Gedichtband, der in vier Teile gegliedert ist, zeigt im ersten Teil “1918-1933” die Tauschungen des Militarismus und seine Opfer, Klassenunterschiede von Ausbeutern und Ausgebeuteten, elende Verhaltnisse der Armen sowie die Gewalt der Nazis. Im zweiten Teil “1933” wird zunachst der als Gott verehrte Hitler scharf parodiert, dann werden die Nazis kritisch verspottet, und schließlich werden mit vier Gedichten die todbereiten Kampfer gelobt und vorgestellt. Inhaltlich stellt der zweite Teil Hitler jene Kampfer gegenuber, deren heroische Taten emotional der schwachen Arbeiterschaft Mut geben. Im dritten Teil, in dem “Lieder und Chore aus den Stucken ≫Die Mutter≪ und ≫Die Maßnahme≪” zusammengestellt sind, wollte Brecht die Arbeiterschaft mit Marxismus ideologisch ausrusten. Vom ersten bis zum dritten Teil des Gedichtbandes gibt er den inhaltlichen Prozessen einen dialektischen Sinn, da die dialektische Denkweise die gesellschaftlichen Widerspruche leichter erkennen lasst. Es gibt noch einen “Anhang” mit vier Gedichten. Vor allem im letzten Gedicht “Deutschland” ist zu sehen, dass Brecht die Schande der Mutter Deutschland aufheben will, was nur dadurch ermoglicht wird, die eigene knechtische Verhaltensform als “Schmutz” der “schmutzigen Welt” kritisch zu reflektieren. Nur so ware Deutschland ein gerechtes Land, ohne Ausbeutung ohne Klassenunterschiede. Brecht wollte dadurch die schwache Arbeiterklasse zum Klassenkampf ermutigen. In dieser Abhandlung geht es aber nicht in erster Linie um einzelne Interpretationen der Gedichte, sondern es wird auch betrachtet, in welchem Sinn seine Dichtung asthetisch mit dem Marxismus zu tun hat, ob er wirklich ein Kommunist war und warum in diesem Gedichtband keine Rede von der Judenverfolgung ist. Es war nicht Brechts Programmatik, dass diese Lieder und Chore als jene Kampflieder gesungen werden, die direkt in den Kampfplatzen politisch-kampferisch fungieren. Er kampfte praktisch auch niemals um den Kommunismus, sondern wollte mit der Dichtung und dem Theater die Menschen dazu fuhren, die Wirklichkeit dialektisch “eingreifend denken” zu konnen. Das war seine asthetische Strategie. Dementsprechend strukturierte er den Gedichtband dialektisch und gestaltete die Gedichte auch im dialektischen Sinn.

        PV Mismatch 보상을 위한 N-벅 컨버터 기반의 PV 옵티마이저 회로 설계

        The PV optimizer compensates the power loss due to the mismatch of PV panels. The solar power efficiency of PV panels can be increased by using the PV optimizer. Several topology can be considered for PV optimizer but the N-Buck converter is chosen for specific environment. And in this paper, it is considered for N-Buck converter design for PV optimizer. The PV optimizer is used as a power compensator between the PV module and the inverter. Each element of the N-Buck converter circuit is designed and selected by the analyzed formulas and the design conditions. As a result, we can confirm that the design is optimized through PSIM simulation and experiments.

        육상 단거리 경기의 연도에 따른 한국과 일본의 기록변천분석

        This research aims to analyze the changes of sprint race records of Korea and Japan by year. The subjects of this research were high school and general sprinters who belonged to the Korea Athletics Federation and to the Japan Association of Athletics Federations and who ranked 10th in each event during the period from 2001 to 2012. For the analysis on the data, SPSS 18.0 version was used to calculate mean, standard deviation, and percentage(%), and in order to analyze the changes and differences of upper ranking records by group (high school and general sprinters), t-test, one way ANOVA and ANOVA with repeated measure were applied, and for the post verification, the LSD method was used and the following conclusion was obtained. First, the records of Japanese high school and general sprinter s in all the years were statistically significantly (p<.001) faster than the records of Korean counterparts. Second, the best records of high school and general sprint race s in Japan in all the years were statistically significantly (p<.001) faster than those in Korea. Third, in the records of high school and general sprinters by trial race, Japan was significantly (p<.001) faster all in trial races, and among nations and in interaction. Based on these results, it is considered that the records can be influenced by the limitations that the research subjects were limited to top ten high school and general sprinters by event for 12 years, and by other factors such as training environment. So this research is suitable to view the macroscopic phenomena, but it is considered that the quantitative researches on the greater number of athletes need to be made in the follow-up researches.
