The mechanical rubbing of a polyimide (PI) layer with a velvet cloth has been dominantly used to induce a uniform alignment of liquid crystal molecules in the manufacturing process of liquid crystal displays (LCDs). The rubbing process is affected by its process parameters and also by the nature and properties of the rubbing cloth used. We fabricated the rubbing cloths with various pile densities and different weaving structures and then investigated how the parameters were related to the effect of the cloth on the rubbing process and the properties of rubbed PI alignment layers (ALs). As the pile density increases at same rubbing process parameters, the degree of molecular orientation of the rubbed AL and its surface roughness increase with an increase of the contact area between the rubbing cloth and the AL surface. Furthermore, a more uniform rubbing is also achieved. The results in this work showed that higher pile density of the rubbing cloth induces a better rubbing effect, which is indeed more favorable to the LCD process. It was also observed that the weaving can exert some influence on the rubbing process.

Until now, an active progress that the inside and outside of the country`s local festival image, a motive that visitors when participated in ti, influence upon economy, a research about festival participants to targeted market and Positioning. On the other hand, the time to holding study that except divided into weekly and weekend tourist almost nothing accomplished, the comparing study about holding time is just beginning stage. So, in this study treats for a positive side of the local festival actualization, inside and out side of nations professors are preceding research about festival participation motive and through the verify analysis to `Baegryeon Festival at Muan`, `Namdo Food Festival`, then, discover the visitor`s motive, divided into on vacation of not, apply to population statics and tour attitudes. Then compare and analysis about two motives, also the motive of the festival, participates, analyze into an intention to revisiting and persuasion. We suggests that correspondence motive with improving event program, so, put this study for enhancing the competitive of local event.
광분해성 고분자를 이용한 액정배향에서의 광조사 및 열처리 효과

광분해형 CBDA-ODA 폴리이미드의 배향막에 대하여 선편광(LPUV) 조사와 이후의 열처리가 배향막, 액 정 배향 그리고 LCD 특성에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지에 대하여 조사하였다. 가장 우수한 액정 배향은 배향막의 이방성을 최대로 발생시키는 광조사 에너지보다 상당히(약 5~10배) 작은 양의 광조사에 의하여 유도되었다. 광 조사에 이후에 이어지는 배향막에 대한 열처리는 광분해 반응에 의하여 배향막 표면에 형성된 저분자 부산물들을 효과적으로 제거함과 동시에 광조사된 배향막을 안정화시킴으로써 액정의 배향성과 LCD의 전기적 특성을 향상시키는 결과를 가져왔다. The effects of the linearly polarized UV (LPUV) irradiation and thermal treatment of a photo-degradable polyimide (CBDA-ODA) alignment layer (AL) on its AL properties, liquid crystal (LC) alignment, and LCD characteristics have been investigated. The best quality of LC photo-alignment have been induced by the LPUVirradiation with much (about 5~10 times) less dosage than that generating the maximum anisotropy of the AL. A thermal treatment of the LPUV-irradiated AL has effectively removed the undesirable, low-M.W. fragments of the AL generated during the photo-decomposition and increased the stability of the AL, which has resulted in improvement of the LC alignment and the LCD property.

The aim of this study is to investigate the profile of the cultural tourists. Above all, the questionnaire was conducted on 449 visitors at the National Museum in that this article had perceived the importance of the museum as a factor for urban tourism and attempted the new method of the study on Korean cultural tourism. The focus was to get hold of demographic characteristics on visitors and to analyze the number of visiting four cultural attractions. Characteristics and attractions were analyzed by frequency analysis and relationship between visitors and the number of visiting by cross tabulation analysis and multiple regression analysis. The results are as follows: Firstly, People of 15~19(71.7%), residents in the capital area(83.9%), students(63.9%), and collegians or university graduates(66.8%) have mainly visited the National Museum of Korea. Secondly, the result analyzed by using t-test and one-way anova between visitors` characteristics on the population statistics side and the number visiting cultural attractions is that Seoul Arts Center has differences in all of 7 variations of population statistics. Thirdly, the leisure factors which has impact on visitors` approach are feeling comfortable and doing something worthwhile. Fourthly, the impact of the number of visiting cultural attractions respectively has more or less high one between National Museum of Korea and Seoul Arts Center.

Uterine rupture is the important cause of life threatening to mother and fetus, in spite of progressed obstetrics. We must observe the patient carefully before labor, during labor and after delivery for the higher prediction of uterine rupture. We experienced a case of incomplete uterine rupture at 40 weeks of gestation weeks in a 37-year-old multigravida tried vaginal birth after cesarean delivery. So we present it with brief review of literatures.

난소종양의 15~20%는 생식세포에서 기원하며 이중 95%는 낭포성 기형종이다. 기형종중 갑상선 조직이 전부 또는 대부분 차지할 때 난소갑상선종이라 일컫는다. 이 정의에 의하면 낭포성 기형중 2.7%를 차지한다. 악성 난소갑상선종의 발생율은 저자마다 진단기준의 차이로 인하여 구하기 힘들지만 전 난소갑상선종의 5% 미만으로 추정한다. 저자들은 본 병원 산부인과에서 우연히 발견된 난소 종양에 의해 자궁적출술과 왼쪽 부속기 절제술을 시행받은 46세의 환자의 병리조직검사에서 난소갑상선종에서 유두상 악성변화를 일으킨 1예를 경험하였기에 간단한 문헌 고찰과 더불어 보고하는 바이다. About 15 to 20% of ovarian tumors are of germ cell origin, and about 95% of these are cystic teratoma. when the teratoma is composed either entirely or predominantly of thyroid tissue, it called struma ovarii. Struma ovarii represents about 2.7% of cystic teratoma. The incidence of malignant struma ovarii is probably much less than 5% of all struma ovarii. We have observed a case of malignant struma ovarii originated from the left ovary of a 46-year-old woman, and present this case with a brief review of concerned literatures.
LCD 제조용 러빙포 물성에 따른 러빙된 폴리이미드 배향막의 특성 및 러빙효과 분석

러빙공정에서는 러빙 시 공정변수와 배향막의 특성 그리고 러빙포의 물성이 중요한 변수로 작용한다. 이러한 변수들은 러빙밀도(rubbing density)와 러빙력(rubbing force)에 의해서 결정되는 러빙된 정도(크기)를 통하여 배향막의 배향성에 영향을 미치게 된다. 본 연구에서는 러빙 변수 중 러빙포의 물성이 러빙밀도(길이)와 러빙력에 미치는 영향에 대하여 알아보기 위하여 다른 물성(파일 밀도, 강직도)을 가지는 러빙포를 이용하여 러빙효과(정도)를 분석하였다. 러빙포의 파일 밀도가 커지고 강직도가 강할수록 러빙된 배향막의 이방성과 표면조도가 커졌으나 러빙효과의 형태는 서로 달랐다. 러빙포의 파일밀도는 러빙에 관여하는 파일의 수와 밀접한 관련이 되어 있어 러빙하는 밀도(길이) 영향을 미치지만 강직도는 러빙밀도(길이)보다는 러빙력과 보다 밀접하게 관련성이 있었다. In rubbing process, process factors, the properties of alignment layer and the physical properties of rubbing cloth have acted as important variables. These factors affect the orientation properties of the alignment layer by rubbed extent that is determined by rubbing density and rubbing force. In this work, we studied the effects of rubbing cloths with different pile density and rigidity on rubbing density(length) and rubbing force. As the pile density and rigidity of rubbing cloths increased, the birefringence and the surface roughness of the rubbed alignment layers became bigger, but the characteristics of rubbing-effect had differed each other. The pile density of rubbing cloths which was related with the number of pile, affected the rubbing density(length). On the other hand, the pile rigidity of rubbing was closely related to rubbing force rather than the rubbing density(length).
