입체 유사 홀로그램을 이용한 디지털 콘텐츠의 공간증강 전시

The pseudo hologram provides a floating image to audience by reflecting the projected digital content on flat screen. However, this technique fails to provide 3D effect according to the audience’s viewpoint so that it has been mainly used in the field of the stage performance whose viewpoints are fixed. In this paper, we present a framework of the 3D pseudo hologram that can generate natural hologram images according to audience’s viewpoint. We use a 3D physical mock-up as a projection screen and project digital content onto the mock-up to generate the pseudo hologram image having 3D effect. The proposed system is an appropriate technique for digital exhibition to be provided by various viewpoints. In particular, it is expected to be utilized for digital museums, product promotion, and media art.

Deformation lamps is technique to adding moving effect on static object by projecting luminance pattern unlike conventional projection mapping technique that modify the appearance of object. It is necessary that deformed image sequence shows movement. However these deformed image sequences made by manual or video that has movement effect. In this paper, using motion texture creates movement effect from target object’s still image. This technique has given the dynamic effect of the static object causing the interest of the audience and can be applied to advertising, interior design, art, and exhibition.

복잡한 현상의 유체의 표현은 컴퓨터 그래픽스 분야에서 활발히 연구되어 오고 있다. 우리는 FLIP 방법을 이용하여 효과적인 유체의 운동을 표현하고 유체를 포함하는 원통이 회전하였을 때, 원통 안의 유체 운동에 대한 시뮬레이션을 수행한다. 이는 세탁기가 회전하였을 때나 커피를 젓을 때와 같은 실생활에서 자주 발생하는 유체 현상을 표현 할 수 있게 한다. 우리는 경계 면의 회전에 의해 발생하는 회전력을 매 프레임 마다 격자에 대입하고 이로 인하여 발생하는 속도의 장을 이용하여 격자에 속한 particle들을 운동 시킴으로 유동을 표현한다. 뿐만 아니라 보다 사실적인 회전 운동을 위하여 회전력에 의한 압력의 차로 발생하는 유체의 포물선 현상도 고려한다.

Recently, in order to give more immersive experience to users about digital contents, spatial augmented reality technology is used in variety of application. Spatial augmented reality is directly render digital contents on a real space using projector. According to the progress of SAR technologies, the pseudo hologram using the projector has been developed. Currently this technology is being used in various fields such as art, performances, advertising and marketing. However, the existing hologram contents have a limitation for lack of 3D effect according to different view and non-realistic digital contents. Therefore firstly, we conduct projector view reconstruction for 3D projection mapping. And then we generate realistic and dynamic digital contents using light interpolation. Lastly, we collaborate projector view reconstruction and result image of light interpolation for proposed pseudo hologram system. We improved the realistic, dynamic and 3D effects by the proposed method.
