        Benzo$(\alpha)pyrene$에 의해 유도된 흰쥐의 간 장해에 미치는 강활 Methanol 추출물의 효과

        To evaluate the preventive effects of methanolic extract of Angelica koreana(MEAK), this extract was given to rats orally at various doses of 10, 50 and 100 mg/kg before hepatotoxicant, benzo$(\alpha)pyrene$ treatment The increased serum enzyme levels of aspartate aminotransferase (AST), alanine aminotransferase(ALT) and alkaline phosphatase(ALP) by benzo$(\alpha)pyrene$ induction were significantly lowered in a dose dependent manner after pretreatment with MEAK. Furthermore, MEAK also decreased the elevated lipid levels after benzo$(\alpha)pyrene$ administration. These results revealed that MEAK could afford a significant protective action in the alleviation of benzoBenzo$(\alpha)pyrene$ induced hepatocellular injury.

        감광성 염료를 도핑한 고분자 태양 전지 소자 연구

        We introduced sensitizing dyes into the bulk-heterojunction (BHJ) photovoltaic (PV) layer of polymer solar cells (PSCs). The sensitizing dyes doped were Bis(tetra butyl ammonium) cis-dithio cyanato bis(2,2'-bipyridine-4-carboxylicacid-4'-carboxylate) ruthenium (II) (N719 dye) and the BHJ PV layer used was made of poly (3-hexylthiophene) (P3HT) and phenyl $C_{61}$-butyric acid methyl ester (PCBM). It was found that the N719 dyes increase the photovoltaic performance, i.e., increasing open-circuit voltage and short-circuit current density with improved fill factor. For the P3HT:PCBM PV cells doped with the N719 dyes (0.24 wt%), an increase in power conversion efficiency of 4.0% was achieved, compared to that of the control cells (3.6%) without the N719 dyes.

        Selaginellae Herba has been used as folk medicine for antineoplastics, coagulants, antidotes and invigorants. To find an in vitro screening method for liver protective effect of Selaginellae Herba in benzo(a)pyrene intoxicated injury were examined in primary cultured rat hepatocytes. Using MTT assay, herba concentration showed dose dependently viability. The lowest concentration of benzo(a)pyrene giving cytotoxicity revealed around 50gM. The hepatoprotective effect of Selaginellae Herba in both water and chloroform extracts was also increased dose dependently.

        사염화탄소로 인한 간 독성에 미치는 진달래(Rhododendron mucronulatum)화분의 영향

        Nutritional value of azalea pollen and its effect on the carbontetrachloride induced liver damage were investigated in this experiment. Azalea pollen was primary composed of 58.96% of carbohydrate, 21.86% crude protein. 2.26% fat, and 2.89% ash. 17 amino acids and 22 fatty acids were quantitatively analyzed, and the major component of them was lysine, and linolenic acid, respectively. After administration of pollen and carbontetrachloride concomitantly, serum ALT, AST, LDH activites and tissue lipid peroxidation decreased significantly, but serum total lipid and cholesterol levels did not changed.

        花粉粒의 營養生化學的 硏究 - 2. 해바라기 花粉粒의 아미노酸組成과 Rat 肝 Alcoholdehydrogenase 活性에 미치는 影響

        화분립이 alcohol대사에 미치는 영향을 알기 위하여 아미노산을 분석하고, rat에 alcohol과 화분립을 각각 농도별로 투여하여 rat 肝 alcoholdehydrogenase(ADH)활성과 肝조직 변화를 실험하였다.<br/> 1. 해바라기 화분립의 아미노산 조성을 분석하여 phenylalanine을 비롯한 18종의 아미노산을 정량하였으며, 필수 아미노산중 특히 phenylalanine, leucine, threonine, lysine의 함량이 많았다.<br/> 2. 실험동물의 肝 ADH활성은 alcohol 투여군이 alcohol농도에 비례하여 대조군 보다 현저히 저하하였으며, 화분립을 alcohol과 함께 투여함으로써, 대조군에는 미치지 않았지만 ADH활성이 증가하였고, alcohol의 농도가 낮을수록 그 증가율이 높았다.<br/> 3. 실험동물의 肝조직은 alcohol투여군에서 지방침윤이 나타났으며, 화분립과 alcohol 복합투여군에서는 지방침윤이 현저히 적게 나타났다. For the purpose of investigating the influence of pollen load on alcohol metabolism in rat, we analyzed quantitatively amino acids of pollen load, and investigated the changes of hepatic alcohol dehydrogenase(ADH) activity and hepatocyte morphology in rat administrated various concentrations of alcohol and various amounts of pollen load. 18 species of amino acids including phenylalanine in the sunflower pollen load were quantitatively analyzed, and it was found that the amount of phenylalanine, leucine, threonine, lysine are especially higher than that of the other amino acids. The liver ADH acitivity of experimental animals decreased with the proportion of ethanol concentration much more in ethanol administrated group than in control group, while increased in pollen load mixed with ethanol administrated group, but didn’t increased as much as that in control group. In any case the less the degree of ethanol concentration was administrated, the higher the liver ADH activity increased. There was fat infiltration in the hepatocyte of ethanol administrated animals, and remarkably little fat infiltration in that of animals administrated pollen load mixed with ethanol.

        Benzo(a)pyrene에 의해 유도된 간기능장해에 미치는 자근 추출액의 영향

        민간에서 주로 사용되는 약용식물들 중 간독성의 발현 저해 및 간기능 보호 효과가 우수한 약물을 찾아 임상적인 약효를 밝혀보고자 하는 실험과정으로 탄소화합물의 불완전 연소 및 열분해에 의해 생성되는 간장해 물질인 benzo(a)pyrene으로 유도한 rats의 간독성 발현에 미치는 자근 수침액의 예방 및 치료 효과를 실험한 결과 자근 수침액의 투여는 B(a)p 투여로 현저하게 증가된 혈청 및 간장의 AST, ALT, LDH, ALP 활성을 유의성 있게 감소시켰고 B(a)P 투여로 증가한 혈청 total cholesterol 및 phospholipid 함량 역시 감소시킬 수 있었으나 그 효과는 현저하지 않았다. 즉, 자근 수침액의 투여는 B(a)p에 의한 간독성 발현을 유의성 있게 감소시켰으며 그 효과는 전처리가 후처리에 비해 우수하였다. The present study was undertaken to compare the pharmacological activities of crude Lithospermi radix reported with the clinical uses in the oriental medicine. Crude Lithospermi radix uesd for the treatment of burn, eczema, blister, diuretic, scarlet fever and septicemia as antipyretic, antidotic and antiphlogistics. Therefore we tested the effects of Lithospermi radix water extract on the liver-protective activities in the rats. The results obtained from enzyme assay, measurement of serum and liver alanineㆍaspartate aminotransferase(ALT, AST) and lipid composition indicated that Lithospermi radix water extract showed significant liver-protective activities against benzo(a)pyrene-induced hepatotoxicity.

        가열유지의 저장조건에 따른 일부 항산화제의 항산화 효과

        합성항산화제인 BHA와 천연항산화제인 α-tocopherol 과 sesamol을 첨가한 가열유지를 실온방치의 순으로 높았으며, 특히 저온밀페로 저장한 α-tocopherol 처리구의 산가, 과산화물가, carbonyl가는 실온방치로 저장한 산가, 과산화물가, carbonyl가는 실온방치로 저장한 BHA 처리구와 거의 동일하였다. 실온차광밀폐, 저온밀폐 (4℃)로 4주간 동안 두면서 항산력을 측정하였다.<br/> 산화억제효과는 저온밀폐, 실온차광밀폐 실온방치점도와 비중의 상승은 저온밀폐, 실온차광밀폐, 실온방치의 순으로 억제되었다. 대부분의 가열처리유지의 linoleic acid와 linolenic acid의 함량은 감소하였고 oleic acid와 palmitic acid의 상대적 함량은 증가하였으나 특히 저온밀폐 α-tocopherol 처리구의 linoleic acid의 상대함량은 53.61~50.29%, BHA 처리구는 53.78~50.68%로 대조구의 52.09~43.96%에 비하여 매우 높았다. The changes of the physico-chemical properties and fatty acid compositions of cooked soybean oil, 30 min at 180±5℃, were investigated to compare the antixidative effects of some antioxidants such as BHA, α-tocopherol and sesamol according to various storage conditions(room temperature, room temperature with a air tight in the dark and low temperature with air tight) for 4 weeks. The order of antioxidative effects according to different storage conditions was low temperature with air tight, room temperature with air tight in the dark and room temperature. Acid values, peroxide values and carbonyl values of soybean oil stored under low temperature with air tight after α-tocopherol treatment were similar to those of soybean oil stored under room temperature after BHA treatment. The relative contents of linoleic acid and linolenic acid decreased during storage, wheras those of oleic acid and palmitic acid increased. The contents of linoleic acid in soybean oil treated with α-tocopherol and BHA under low temperature with air tight storage were 53.61~50.29% and 53.78~50.68%, respectively. These contents were very high in comparison with those in untreated oil under room temperature storage, 52.09~43.96%.

        대두유에 있어서 항산화제 종류에 따른 항산화력의 비교

        합성 항산화제인 BHA와 천연 항산화제인 α-tocopherol, NDGA, propyl gallate, sesamol등의 항산화력을 비교하기 위하여 식용 대두유에 이들 항산화제를 첨가하여 가열처리한 후 2주간 보존할 때 일어나는 물리화학적인 변화와 지방산 조성의 변화를 조사하였다.<br/> 항산화력은 BHA > α-tocopherol > propyl gallate > sesamol의 순으로 BHA에 비하여 천연 항산화제가 다소 떨어졌지만 α-tocopherol의 경우는 BHA에 크게 뒤지지 않는 우수한 항산화력을 나타내었다.<br/> Gas chromatography에 의한 지방산 분석의 결과 산패가 진행될수록 불포화도가 높은 linolenic acid와 linoleic acid의 상대적 함량은 감소하고 oleic acid와 palmitic acid의 함량은 증가하였으며 BHA와 α-tocopherol을 첨가한 경우 linoleic acid와 linoleic acid 함량의 감소가 현저하게 억제되었다. The natural antioxidants such as α-tocopherol, NDGA, proply gallate and sesamol, and synthetic anti oxidants, BHA were used to compare antioxidative effects of those antioxidants from the physico-chemical properties and fatty acid composition changes in the soybean oil during storage. The oils were stored at 25℃ for 2 weeks after heat treatment. Natural antioxidants were less effective than BHA but effect of α-tocopherol was very similar to that of BHA. The order of antioxidative effect was BHA, a-tocopherol, NDGA propyl gallate and sesamol. The relative contents of linoleic acid and linolenic acid was decreased as the degree of oxidative rancidity was increased, whereas content of oleic acid and palmitic acid was increased. The content of linoleic acid and linolenic acid did not decreased by addition of BHA and α-tocopherol.
