        광양만 잘피엽상에 서식하는 바다대벌레류의 계절변동

        1994년 6월에서 1995년 5월 사이 광양만 대도 주변의 잘피밭에서 Epifaunal sampler를 이용하여 매달 바다대벌레류를 채집하여 종조성과 계절변동을 조사하였다. 조사기간 동안 총 1과 1속 6종의 바다대벌레류가 출현하였다. 그 중 짧은팔바다대벌레 (Caprella tsugarensis)와 허리갈고리바다대벌레 (Caprella kroeyeri)가 각각 전체 개체수의 53.9%와 32.1%를 차지하며 우점하였다. 출현 종수, 개체수 모두 이른 여름철에 높았고 가을과 겨울철에는 낮아져 뚜렷한 계절변동을 보였다. 이러한 바다대벌레류의 계절변동은 잘피의 생체량 변동과 밀접한 관련을 보였다. 또한 어류의 포식압과도 연관이 있는 것으로 추정된다. Seasonal variations of species composition and density of caprellids was accomplished in eelgrass beds around Daedo Island, a south coast of Korea. Sampling was performed monthly using an epifaunal sampler at two stations from June 1996 to May 1997. Caprellids were comprised of 6 species belong to a family Caprellidae. Mean density was 402 ind./㎡. The numerically-dominant species were Caprella tsugarensis (216ind./㎡) and C. kroeyeri (129ind./㎡). High density was occurred in the early summer, and lows in autumn and winter. The density of caprellids was correlated with the biomass of the eelgrass. Predation pressure by fish was also correlated with the density of caprellids in spring.

        한국미기록 사방연통대나무갯지렁이 Axiothella quadrimaculata Augener , 1914

        A maldanid potychaete, Axiothella quadrimaculsta Augener, 1914, is newly recorded in Korean fauna. Genus Aauothella is found for the first time in Korean waters. The specimen was collected in the Eisenia bicyclis bed by SCUBA diving. The species is described with figures and the key to genera was revised. Including this Axiothella quadrimaculata, a total of 18 spe챠es representing 13 genera are known to the Korean Maldanid polychaetes.

        잘피밭 대형저서동물의 종조성과 계절변동

        A total of 60 species of benthic macrofauna was collected by a grab sampler in the eelgrass bed in Kwangyang Bay, Korea. The dominant group was Polychaeta which was composed of 32 species. The dominant species were Platynereis bicanaliculata, Cirriformia tentaculata, Lumbrineris longifolia, and Cirratulus cirratus which accounted for approximately 63.7% of the total numbers of benthic macrofauna. Seasonal variations in both species composition and abundance of the benthic macrofauna were major characteristics in the study area. Seasonal peak of number of species and abundance occurred in summer. And the lowest abundance occurred in winter. Seasonal dominant species were Platynereis bicanaliculata, Cirriformia tentaculata, Lumbrineris longifolia in spring and summer, and Cirratulus cirratus, Capitella capitata, Opisthobranchia in fall.

        한국말기록 뾰족고운비늘갯지렁이 Iphione muricata ( Savigny , 1818 )

        A polynoid polychaete, Iphione muricata (Savigny, 1818), is newly recorded in Korean fauna. Genus Iphione was found for the first time in Korean waters. The specimen was collected in the Phyllospadix japonica bed by SCUBA diving. The species is described with figures and the key to subfamily was revised. Including this Iphione muricata, a total of 24 species representing 14 genera are known to the Korean polynoid polychaetes.

        가덕도 주변해역 대형저서동물군집 구조의 특성

        남해안에 위치한 가덕도 주변해역의 10개 정점에서 1998년 1월 1부터 11월까지 격월로 대형저서동물을 채집하였다. 조사 결과 총 260종이 평균 1,729 개체/㎡의 밀도로 출현하였으며 생체량은 평균 154.7 gwwt./㎡이었다. 종수에서는 절지동물이 96종 (37.0%)으로 가장 많이 출현하였으며, 분포밀도에서는 환형동물이 1,263개체/㎡ (73.0%)의 높은 비중을 차지하였다. 생체량의 경우 연체동물이 99.5 gwwt./㎡로 전체의 63.3%를 차지하고 있었다. 우점종으로는 분포밀도의 경우 이매패류인 Theora fragilis가 평균 194 개체/㎡로 가장 높게 출현하였으며, Ruditapes philippinarum은 평균 45.6 gwwt./㎡로 가장 높은 생체량을 보였다. 집괴분석에 의해 5개의 군집으로 나눌 수 있었으며, 주요 우점종 중에서 Sigambra tentaculata는 정점군 G1, Chaetozone setosa, Lumbrineris. longifolia, Sternaspis scutata는 정점군 G2, Theora fragilis는 정점 1,4,5에서 이들 군집에 영향을 미치는 특징적인 종으로 나타났다. 생물학적 자료와 환경적요인을 종합한 결과 가덕도 주변해역의 대형저서동물군집은 주로 내만의 영향보다는 외해와 낙동강 하구역의 영향을 많이 받는 것으로 보인다. 특히 이들 군집은 퇴적상과 염분의 영향을 받는 것으로 보인다. A study on the community structure of macrobenthos was accomplished around Kadugdo, a south coast of Korea. Sampling was performed bimonthly using a Smith-McIntyre grab (0.05 ㎡) at ten stations from January to November, 1998. A total of 260 species was sampled with mean density of 1,729 ind./㎡ and biomass of 154.7 gwwt./㎡ during the study periods. Of these species, there were 96 species of arthropods (37.0%), 89 species of annelids (34.2%), 45 species of molluscs (17.3%) and 30 species of others (11.5%). Annelids were density-dominant faunal group with a mean density of 1,263 ind./㎡ which occupied 73.0% of the total individual of benthic animals. Molluscs were represented as biomass-dominant faunal group with a mean biomass of 99.5 gwwt./㎡ (64.3% of total biomass). The density-dominant species were a bivalvia Theora fragilis (194 ind./㎡) and five species of polychaetes, Lumbrineris longifolia (177 ind./㎡), Chaetozone setosa (150 ind./㎡), Sternaspis scutata (116 ind./㎡), Sigambra tentaculata (106 ind./㎡) and Hemipodus yenourensis (94 ind./㎡). And major biomass-dominant species was a bivalvia Ruditapes philippinarum (45.6 gwwt./㎡). Clustering analysis showed that the study area could be divided into two station groups and three stations: southwestern part of Kadugdo effected on Chinhae Bay, fisheries farming area and eastern part of Kadugdo effected on Nakdong River estuary.

        진해 안골조간대에 서식하는 대형저서동물의 군집구조

        1998년 3월부터 12개월 동안 경상남도 진해시에 위치한 안골 조간대에서 저서동물군집을 조사한 결과 총 8개 동물문에 속하는 110종의 저서동물이 322 ind. m^(-2), 98.4 wwt g m^(-2)의 개체수와 생체량으로 출현하였다. 갯지렁이류는 출현 종수 및 개체수에서 가장 우점하는 분류군으로 나타났으나, 개체수 측면에서 가장 우점하는 종은 복족류의 Batilaria cumingi (52 ind. m^(-2)) 였다. 총 출현 개체수의 5.0%를 차지하는 우점종은 B. cumingi를 포함한 Ceratonereis erythraeensis (38 ind. m^(-2)), Cirriformia tentaculata (32 ind. m^(-2)), Capitella capitata (23 ind. m^(-2)), Sigambra tentaculata (23 ind. m^(-2)), Glycera chirori (17 ind m^(-2))였다. 출현한 저서생물군집을 분석해본 결과 조사 해역은 조간대의 상부와 하부로 구분할 수 있었으며, 조간대 상부의 경우 S. tentaculata-C. setosa 종군, 조간대 하부의 경우 C. erythraeensis-C. tentaculata-C. capitata 종군이 특징적인 것으로 나타났다. 더욱이 해역의 퇴적상 결과에 의하면 상당히 조립한 것으로 나타났으나, 퇴적물 섭식을 띠는 저서생물들이 우점하게 출현하고 있어 우리나라의 다른 갯벌 해역의 저서생물군집과 상이한 결과를 보이고 있었다. 일부 우점종의 계절 분포가 극단적이며, 새롭게 가입되고 소별하는 종의 출현이 많은 것으로 볼 때 안골조간대에 서식하는 대형저서동물은 주변에서 이루어지는 인간 활동에 의해 많은 영향을 받는 것으로 보인다. This study was conducted to examine the community structure of macrobenthos on Angol tidal flat in Jinhae, south coast of Korea. Monthly samples were conducted at eight sites from March 1998 to February 1999. A total of 110 species were sampled with a mean density of 322 ind. m^(-2) and biomass of 98.4 wwt g m^(-2). Of these species, there were 44 species of polychaetes (40.0%), 41 species of crustaceans (37.3%) and 16 species of molluscs (14.5%). The major density dominant species were a gastropod Batilaria cumingi (52 ind. m^(-2)) and five polychaetes Ceratonereis erythraeensis (38 ind. m^(-2)), Cirriformia tentaculata (32 ind. m^(-2)), Capitella capitata (23 ind. m^(-2)), Sigambra tentaculata (23 ind. m^(-2)), Glycera chirori (17 ind. m^(-2)). Cluster and MDS analysis showed that the study sites could be divided into two tidal elevation groups. According to the spatial distribution of dominant species and SIMPER analysis, the two groups were characterized by Sigambra tentaculata-Chaetozone setosa in upper species group and Ceratonereis erythraeensis-Cirriformia tentaculata-Capitella capitata in lower species group.

        통영해역에 서식하는 아므르불가사리의 분포 특성과 서식처에 따른 먹이 선호도 비교

        N/A This study examined distributional patterns of Asterias amurensis in Tongyeong, the central South Sea of Korea. The density of the sea star was estimated at 10 chosen sites in the inner and the outer parts of the Tongyeong coast from December 2000. The mean density of the species in this area was 2.4 ind./㎡. The seasonal surveys conducted at 3 arbitrary chosen sites (i.e., sea cage, reef and soft sediment) also showed that the abundance of the species at the sea cage site (density: 3.6 ind./㎡ ; biomass: 250.7 gwwt/㎡) was significantly higher than at the reef site (density: 1.7 ind./㎡ ; biomass: 63.5 gwwt/㎡) and the soft sediment site (density: 0.4 ind./㎡; biomass: 18.9 gwwt/㎡). Densities were higher at sea cages areas than at reefs and soft bottom sites. At sea cage site, A. amurensis population exhibited a strong aggregated distributional pattern. In contrast, at reef and soft bottom sites, A. amurensis population showed a random distributional pattern. The spatial difference in prey species and its abundance was the primary factor determining the spatial heterogeneity of the sea star in its behavior characteristics. Experiments on the feeding preference indicated that A. amurensis had a strong selectivity on its prey, but this selectivity varied between populations living in different sites. In particular, A. amurensis populations at the reef site showed a strong selectivity on various sessile and mobile animals living in reef areas, suggesting that these animal groups may play a role as windows for the survival of A. amurensis. These results suggest that the distribution of A. amurensis in Tongyeong is closely associated with abundance of prey species and the bottom composition.

        진해 괴정 암반 조간대 담치대의 대형저서동물 군집구조 및 수직분포

        N/A The fauna associated with mussel (Mytilus galloprovincialis) beds and vertical distribution of macrobenthos were studied on the Goijeong rocky shore in Jinhae Bay, Korea. Sampling was conducted seasonally using a quadrate from January to October, 1998. In the first experiment to reveal the community structure of macrobenthos in mussel bed, a total of 62 species (10,690 ind./㎡ , 3,802.1 g/㎡) were identified, which included polychaetes (32 spp., 52.6%), molluscs (16 spp.), crustaceans (10 spp.), and others. The density-dominant species were Pseudopolydora antennata, Nereis heterocirrata, Littorina brevicula and Balanus kondakovi. And the density of associated fauna was correlated with that of mussel (r=0.951, P=0.049). In the second experiment, to reveal the vertical distribution of macrobenthos on the rocky shore, ANOVA showed highly significant differences between the density of top 5 dominant species (Chthamahw challengeri, Littorina brevicula, Balanus kondakovi, Septifer virgatus and Granulilittorina exigua) and tidal levels (P= 0.000). Vertical distribution of macrobnethos was characterized by Chthamalus belt and Balanus-Septifer belt in the mussel bed.
