LiTaO₃ 단결정 내의 Fe<SUP>3+</SUP> 상자성 불순물 이온에 대한 에너지 준위 계산

Ground state energy levels of the Fe<SUP>3+</SUP> paramagnetic impurity ion in stoichiometric LiTaO₃ and in congruent LiTaO₃ single crystals were calculated with electron paramagnetic resonance constants. Energy levels between six energy levels were obtained with spectroscopic splitting parameter g and zero field splitting constant D for Fe<SUP>3+</SUP> ion. The energy diagrams of Fe<SUP>3+</SUP> ion were different from different magnetic field directions ([100], [001], [111]) when magnetic field increases. The calculated ZFS energies of Fe<SUP>3+</SUP> ion in stoichiometric and congruent LiTaO₃ single crystals for |± 5/2>↔|± 3/2> and |± 3/2>↔|± 1/2> transitions were 12.300 GHz and 6.150 GHz, and 59.358 GHz and 29.679 GHz, respectively. It turns out that energy levels of Fe<SUP>3+</SUP> paramagnetic impurity in LiTaO₃ crystal are different from different crystal growing condition.

The ferromagnetic resonance study of the magnetostatic wave modes for an YIG thin film, grown by a liquid phase epitaxy method, was performed by an FMR spectrometer at room temperature. The magnetostatic surface wave and backward volume wave modes show periodic excitations in parallel configuration, whereas the complex spectra were observed in perpendicular configuration. The resonance spectra in parallel configuration can be well explained by the Walker and Damon-Eshbach theory. The peak-peak line width of uniform mode was 0.4 Oe. The saturation magnetization Ms of the YIG thin film was calculated as 137 emu/㎤. In order to know the dependence of the magnetostatic modes as a function of the saturation magnetization and the thickness, the (1,1) and (3,1) modes of the magnetostatic backward volume wave were compared and theoretically calculated.

The quantum mechanical chaotic behavior of ripple billiard that has sinusoidal boundary wall is investigated. We find out that a remarkable correspondence between characteristic features of classical dynamics and. the statistics of level spacings appears with a amplitude parameter being vaired.

Considering both Tersoff-Brenner(TB) and Biersack-Biegler(BZ) potential , the impact of C-C and C-H covalent bond in a fullerene molecule is investigated by using molecular dynamic simulation. We have also discussed in what manner the penetration probability of hydrogen atom is influenced by the variation of both spatial potential distribution and hydrogen kinetic energy as the incident hydrogen is approached to the target pentagon in a fullerene molecule. We have confirmed that the hydrogen atom is also influenced by adding the bonding effect on BZ potential.

The electron transport system in two dimensional ideal wire is investigated by lattice model and tight-binding approximation. The numerical result for ideal wire in magnetic field is represented. This formalism can be extended to scattering and quantum contact problems and applied to numerical calculation the ballistic conductance in mesoscopic structures.

The effect of step edge diffusion in epitaxial growth is investigated. We regard Ehrlich-Schwoebel barrier as a simple complete reflection wall. By discrete dynamic Monte-Carlo simulation, we can get the growth exponent β=0.48±0.03, but we can't get the roughness exponent and dynamic exponent in the computer limitation. It means that the model of infinity ES barrier effectively act on as Random Deposition class.

A (1-1) discrete solid-on-solid model of epitaxial growth is introduced which takes into account the effect of an Ehrlich-Schwoebel(ES) barrier at step edge. For the diffusion control constant, ??≤0, it gives rise to conventional kinetic roughning mophologies (EW (?? < 0) and MH( ?? : 0 ) universality class). However, for ?? > 0, it gives rise to mound structure and various growth exponent β according to characteristic diffusion length R_(0).

The hydrogen atom behaviors colliding with molecule have been investigated by molecular dynamic simulation. We have calculated the probabilities of the adsorption of hydrogen atom incident on a molecule over range . The probabilities depend on the energy of incident hydrogen atom and greater than the case of CNT-hydrogen collision.

We derive the conventional Hamiltonian of biaxial spin Hamiltonian with the magnetic field along the hard anisotropy axis by particle mapping method In our procedure, the mapped potential has complex form whose real part is periodic with two ground states and the wave function is subjected to the boundary condition involving an phase shift. We guess the imagianry part of potnetial is reponsible to the topological phase shift in the wave function in the manner of Aharnov-Bohm effect.
