        Effect of Aluminum Chloride Hemostatic Agent on Bonding Strength of RMGIC in Primary Tooth

        이 연구의 목적은 유치의 상아질면에서 염화알루미늄 지혈제의 적용이 레진강화형 글라스아이오노머(RMGIC)의 결합에 미치는 영향을 전단결합강도, 주사전자현미경(SEM), 에너지분산형 분광분석기(EDS)를 통하여 평가하는 것이다. 36개의 유구치가 이용되었으며, 상아질이 노출되도록 시편을 제작하여 상아질 전처리과정에 따라 4개의 군으로 분류하였다. I, II, III, IV군은 각각 전처리를 하지 않은 군, 25% polyacrylic acid(PAA)를 10초간 적용한 군, 21.3% 염화알루미늄 지혈제를 1분간 적용한 군, IV군은 염화알루미늄 지혈제를 1분간 사용한 뒤 PAA를 10초간 적용한 군으로 설정하였다. 각 군당 15개의 시편에 RMGIC를 중합하여 전단결합강도를 측정하였다. 각 군당 3개의 시편을 SEM/EDS 분석하였다. II군, IV군, I군, III군 순서로 결합강도가 유의하게 높았다. SEM 촬영으로 염화알루미늄 지혈제를 적용한 군들은 도말층이 일부 제거 되었음을 확인하였다. EDS 분석결과, 염화알루미늄 지혈제 적용 후 칼슘의 감소 및 염소와 알루미늄의 증가가 확인되었고, PAA 사용후에도 증가한 염소는 감소하지 않음을 관찰하였다. 연구를 통해 염화알루미늄 지혈제는 PAA의 사용에 관계없이 상아질에서 RMGIC의 전단결합강도를 감소시키는 것을 알 수 있다. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effect of a hemostatic agent containing aluminum chloride on the shear bond strength of resin-modified glass ionomer cement (RMGIC) to the dentin of primary teeth. Thirty-six extracted non-carious human primary teeth were collected in this study. Dentin surfaces were cut and polished. The specimens were randomly divided into 4 groups; group I: RMGIC without conditioning; group II: polyacrylic acid (PAA), RMGIC; group III: aluminum chloride, RMGIC; group IV: aluminum chloride, PAA, RMGIC. All teeth were thermocycled between 5.0℃ and 55.0℃ for 5000 cycles. Fifteen specimens from each group were subjected to shear bond strength test and 3 specimens from each group were inspected using scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy. The mean shear bond strength of each group was as follows: 4.04 ± 0.88 MPa in group I, 8.29 ± 1.40 MPa in group II, 1.39 ± 0.47 MPa in group III, 6.24 ± 2.76 MPa in group IV. There were significant differences among all groups (p < 0.001). SEM image of the dentinal tubules were partially exposed in group III and group IV. Fully exposed dentinal tubules were found in group II. In conclusion, aluminum chloride decreased the shear bond strength of RMGIC to dentin, regardless of PAA conditioning.

        천식 환자의 질병 관련 지식과 흡입기 사용에 대한 인지 및 실천

        Purpose: This study was done to investigate the relationship of knowledge related to disease, awareness and practice of inhaler use in asthmatic patients. Method: The participants in this research were 124 patients with asthma who used inhalers, and were admitted to hospital or attended outpatient asthmatic clinics. Data were collected using a self-administered questionnaire which consisted of demographic characteristics, illness-related characteristics, and tools to measure knowledge of disease, awareness and practice related to inhaler use. Results: Knowledge related to disease was statistically significantly different for age (p<.001) and marital status (p=.017). The mean score for awareness of inhaler use was significantly higher than the mean score for practice in inhaler use (p<.001). There were significant correlations between awareness and practice of inhaler use (p<.001), knowledge related to disease and awareness of inhaler use (p<.001), and knowledge related to disease and practice of inhaler use (p<.001). Conclusion: Results indicate that due to the variation in degree of illness in patients with asthma, there is a need to develop appropriate education programs for people of different ages and also precise content for use of inhalers method of checking capacity washing and storing as well as directions about different kinds of the inhalers.

        비보건계열 대학생의 스트레스와 구강건강관리

        조사 대상자인 235명의 대학생들은 27.2%가 치아우식증 치료 경험이 있고 48.1%가 치주질환을 치료한 경험을 가지고 있었다. 46.4%는 정기적인 구강검진을 하고 54.0%는 스켈링 경험이 있으며 58.3%는 칫솔질 교육경험이 있는 것으로 조사되었다. 그리고 46.4%가 구강보조용품으로 치실을 사용하였고 66.4%는 일일 3회 칫솔질을 하는 것으로 조사 되었으며 73.6%가 칫솔은 2∼3개월마다 교체하는 것으로 조사되었다. 조사 대상자인 235명의 대학생 스트레스를 항목별로 조사한 결과 성격에 대한 스트레스가 3.40±0.73으로 가장 높았다. 그 중 ‘뭔가를 하는 것이 귀찮다’는 항목이 3.73±1.20으로 가장 높았고, ‘다른 사람의 문제에 대하여 걱정하였다’가 2.22±1.15로 가장 낮았다. 여학생은 외모와 성향, 가족, 대인관계에 대한 스트레스가 남학생보다 높은 것으로 나타났고, 남학생은 학업에 대한 스트레스가 여학생보다 높은 것으로 나타났다. 조사대상자 235명의 대학생 중 치아우식증을 가지고 있거나 치주질환을 가지고 있는 경우 스트레스가 평균 이상인 것으로 나타났고 치석제거 경험이 있거나 칫솔질 교육 경험이 있는 경우 즉 예방관리를 하는 집단이, 예방하지 않는 집단에 비하여 스트레스가 평균 이하인 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구 결과 대학생의 스트레스는 구강건강을 위해 치료를 하는 단계에 이를 때면 이미 스트레스가 상승하고 예방적 관리가 잘 이루어질 때는 스트레스 감소하는 것을 알 수 있다. 다시 말해 이미 구강병이 발생하여 치료 경험이 있는 경우에는 스트레스 수준이 더 높아지므로 구강질환 예방을 위한 대책이 시급하다는 것을 알 수있다. 또한 대학생의 구강건강증진을 위해 구강질환 예방에 대한 체계적인 교육 프로그램을 지속적으로 운영하고 활성화해야 할 것으로 생각된다. The findings of the study illustrated that the college students felt more stress when they had to receive treatment for the sake of oral health, and that they experienced less stress when they took good care of their oral health for preventive purposes. A self-administered survey was conducted on 235 junior college students whose majors were unrelated to health in the region of Jeollanam-do from March 4 to 30, 2015. A total of 27.2% of the respondents had received dental caries treatment, and 48.1% had received periodontal treatment. When the stress of the college students about personality, appearance, families and interpersonal relationship was measured, they were most stressed out about their personality (3.40±0.73). Specifically, they scored highest in the item “It’s such a hassle to do something” (3.73±1.20), and scored lowest in the item “I was concerned about someone else’s problem” (2.22±1.15). The female students experienced more stress about their appearance, personality, families and interpersonal relationship than the male students. The male students felt more stress about their studies than the female students. The college students who had dental caries and periodontal diseases suffered stress that was above the average level, and the stress level of the group that had scaling experience and/or had received toothbrushing education, namely taking care of oral health for preventive purposes, was more below average than the other group that didn’t. In a word, it’s urgently required to take measures to prevent college students from having oral diseases, as the students who suffered from oral diseases and received treatment were more stressed out. The implementation and revitalization of systemized educational programs are required to help college students stay away from oral diseases to promote their oral health.

        고등학생의 구강보건행태와 자기효능감의 관련성

        The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship between the oral health behavior and self-efficacy of adolescents. The subjects in this study were 300 selected students in a girls`` high school located in the city of Iksan. A survey was conducted from November 2 to 5, 2014, with questionnaires that covered oral health behavior and self-efficacy, and the answer sheets from 298 respondents were analyzed by a statistical package IBM SPSS Statistics ver. 21.0. The group that got regular dental checkups (3.26) excelled the other group that didn``t in self-efficacy (p< 0.05), and the group who made use of oral care products and who brushed their teeth four times or more had a better self-efficacy than the other group that didn``t. The students who considered themselves to be in better oral health scored higher in self-efficacy, and the groups who had no difficulties in pronunciation (3.66) and mastication (3.32) scored higher (p<0.01, <0.001). Masticatory dysfunction (r=-0.184) and pronunciation disorder (r=-0.200) were negatively correlated with self-efficacy, but oral health status (r=0.243) had a positive correlation with it. Self-efficacy was better when oral health status was better (p<0.001) and when there was no pronunciation disorder (p<0.01). The above-mentioned findings suggested that there was a close relationship between oral health behavior and self-efficacy. Therefore the kind of program that aims at changing youth oral health awareness and oral health behavior should be prepared to improve the self-efficacy of adolescents.

        학습 튜터링 프로그램이 대인관계, 자기주도적 학습력과 학업적 자기효능감에 미치는 효과

        본 연구는 학습 튜터링 프로그램이 대인관계와 주도적 학습력 및 학업적 자기효능감에 미치는 영향을 분석하는데 그 목적이 있다. 연구 목적에 따라 설정한 연구 문제는 학습 튜터링 프로그램이 대인관계, 주도적 학습력, 학업적 자기효능감에 영향을 미치는가를 알아보기 위해 프로그램 실시 전, 후 대인관계, 자기주도학습력, 학업적 자기효능감에 변화가 있는가를 살펴보고자, 2017년 9월 18일부터 11월 17일까지 한 학기동안 학습 튜터링 프로그램에 참여한 재학생 214명을 대상으로 자기기입식 설문지법을 통해 자료를 수집하였으며 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다. 튜터링 프로그램 참여 후 자기주도 학습력과 개인학습성향은 튜터링 프로그램 참여 전보다 다소 감소됨을 보였고, 대인관계와 학업적 자기효능감은 향상됨을 보였다. 성별에 따라서도 튜터링 프로그램 전, 후 가장 크게 향상된 부분은 대인관계이고, 학년과 참여 동기에서도 가장 향상된 부분은 대인관계이었으며, 그 다음으로는 학업적 자기효능감인 것으로 나타났다. 다시 말하면 튜터링 프로그램을 시행하여 가장 크게 변화되고, 효과를 나타내는 부분이 대인관계와 학업적 자기효능감이라 말할 수 있는 결과를 보였다. 결국, 대인관계 및 학업적 자기효능감의 향상은 학생들의 학교적응뿐만 아니라 학업수준까지 향상시켜 결국에는 중도탈락을 예방하여 대학 기관의 안정적 운영과 질적 경쟁력 제고에 기여할 수 있는 우수한 학습 프로그램이라 판단한다. The purpose of this study was to examine the influence of an academic tutoring program on interpersonal relationships, self- directed learning capability and academic self-efficacy. The research question posed in this study was whether an academic tutoring program would affect interpersonal relationships, self-directed learning capability and academic self-efficacy. To address the research question, a self-administered survey was conducted to gather data on 214 students who participated in an academic tutoring program during a semester from September 4 to November 10, 2017. The findings of the study were as follows: After their participation in the tutoring program, there was a little decrease in self-directed learning capability and personal learning orientation, and they made progress in interpersonal relationships and academic self-efficacy. By gender, there was the greatest improvement in interpersonal relationships as well after their participation in the tutoring program. By academic year and motivation for participation, they showed the best improvement in interpersonal relationships as well, followed by academic self-efficacy. In other words, it could be said that the parts which the tutoring program brought about the biggest change to and worked best on were interpersonal relationships and academic self-efficacy. In conclusion, the improvement of interpersonal relationships and academic self-efficacy could boost not only the school adjustment of students but their academic levels and then eventually prevent them from dropping out. Therefore this program seems to be one of outstanding learning programs that could make a contribution to the stable management and qualitative competitiveness of universities.
