The purpose of this study is to examine the effects of a group art therapy program on social anxiety of late adolescents. The participants were 12 late-aged adolescents with social anxiety. Six participants were assigned to the experimental group and six participants were assigned to the control group. The group arts therapy program was conducted 6 times in total from November 18 to December 23, 2019 at once a week for 100 minutes for each section. The quantitative measure Korean version of the Social Anxiety Scale for Adolescents (K-SAS-A) was utilized. Wilcoxon signed-rank test for paired comparisons was conducted to analyze the quantitative data measured in this study. The qualitative analyses of participants’ behaviors through the whole sessions and their works were observed and analyzed. The results are as follows. First, the experimental group’s social anxiety was significantly reduced after conducting the group art therapy program. Second, there was positive change during the process of the group art therapy program of late-aged adolescents with social anxiety. Thus, this study concludes that the group art therapy program had effects on reducing the late-aged adolescents’ social anxiety.

Background/Objectives: This study aimed to evaluate the changes of uptake around the sternoclavicular joint (SCJ) according to 18F-FDG PET images in patients with head and neck cancer who underwent neck dissection. Materials & Methods: Retrospectively, the medical records of patients who received selective or comprehensive neck dissection were reviewed. Preoperative and 1-year postoperative 18F-FDG PET images, if available, were analyzed by nuclear medicine physicians in both qualitative and quantitative manners. Correlation between the changes of uptake around SCJ and perioperative data were statistically analyzed. Results: Thirty-seven patients satisfying the inclusion criteria were enrolled. Seven patients with increased uptake around SCJ on 1-year postoperative 18F-FDG PET showed a correlation with radical or comprehensive neck dissection, accessory nerve sacrifice, and high postoperative SUVmax. When 20 patients with increased uptake around SCJ according to quantitative measurement were compared with other patients without increased uptake, no parameter was significantly different, except postoperative SUVmax. Bivariate logistic regression analysis revealed that the clinical symptom (shoulder or sternal pain) was significantly correlated with the extent of neck dissection (OR 0.227, CI 0.053-0.966, p=0.045) and spinal accessory nerve sacrifice (OR 13.500, CI 1.189-153.331, p=0.036). Conclusions: Increased uptake around SCJ on 1-year postoperative 18 F-FDG PET was correlated with either the radical or comprehensive procedure, as well as with accessory nerve sacrifice. This suggests that subjective analysis of 18F-FDG PET can be used to detect subclinical shoulder instability.

김하균,김수미,우재룡,오소원,이재성,김유경,Kim, Ha Gyun,Kim, Soo Mee,Woo, Jae Ryong,Oh, So Won,Lee, Jae Sung,Kim, Yu Kyeong 대한핵의학기술학회 2014 핵의학 기술 Vol.18 No.1
데이터는 다음과 같은 조건으로 획득하였다(HEGP collimator 사용, Attenuation collection 적용, scan time 40 secs/frame, step angle 6도, scan mode non circular, evolution 적용과 미적용). 획득된 데이터는 OSEM (iteration 2, subset 10) 방식으로 재구성하였다. Post-filer의 사용에 따른 이미지의 변화를 보기 위해 3가지의 다른 post-filer들이 사용되었다(butterworth filter cut-off: 0.38, 0.43, 0.48, 0.53, 0.58, hanning filter cut-off: 0.8, 0.85, 0.9, 0.95, 1, gaussian FWHM: 3, 3.4, 4, 4.5, 5). Purpose: After I-131 therapy, SPECT/CT is useful in identifying location of thyroid remnants and metastasis of thyroid cancers. An excessive uptake of thyroid leads to a ringing artifact in the SPECT images. The aim of this study is to investigate and suggest a proper post filters to remove ringing artifact and produce better image quality. Materials and Methods: A low-cost, customized thyroid-mimicking phantom, consisting of an acrylic bottle and a hollow sphere was used for SPECT/CT Discovery (GE Healthcare, USA). It was filled with I-131 solution. The ratio of hollow sphere to background were varied as 50:1, 200:1, 1000:1 and 4000:1. Acquired images were reconstructed by OSEM (2 iterations, 10 subsets) with and without Evolution (resolution recovery correction, GE). Three different post-filters were applied; Butterworth (cut off: 0.38 to 0.58 with intervals of 0.05), Hanning (cut off: 0.8 to 1 with intervals of 0.05) and Gaussian (FWHM: 3 to 5 with intervals of 0.5) filters. Contrast, background variability, air area variability, and full width half maximum (FWHM) were compared. Results: Higher contrasts were obtained from the SPECT images with Evolution than without Evolution. In the case of images without Evolution, image distortion such as star artifact was generated. For all sphere-to-background ratio, the Butterworth filter showed better constrasts and FWHMs than other two filters, but the ringing artifact was still generated in all studies except 50:1 and it was decreased as cutoff value was increased. The ringing artifact didn't appear with Hanning and Gaussian filters at all studies, however constrats and FWHMs with Gaussian was worse than Hanning filter. For the images having ringing artifacts, the background variability and air area variability were increased. Conclusion: In this study, we suggested that it is desirable to use Hanning filter when the ringing artifact is generated and to use Butterworth filter when ringing artifact is not generated in I-131 SPECT.

Intravascular large B-cell lymphoma (IVLBCL) is a subtype of diffuse large cell lymphoma, characterized by proliferation of lymphoid cells in the intravascular space of various organs without causing a mass effect. Although 18F-FDG PET is a powerful imaging tool in lymphoma, the usefulness of 18F-FDG PET in the assessment of IVLBCL is still controversial. 99mTc-MIBI, a tumor imaging radiopharmaceutical with a different mechanism from that of 18F-FDG, has been reported to be also effective in lymphoma. However, there is nearly no report on the efficacy of 99mTc-MIBI in the assessment of IVLBCL. We present one case of IVLBCL that showed 99mTc-MIBI accumulation in the involved bone marrow as an incidental finding, which was discrepant from that of 18F-FDG PET.
