프로젝트 포트폴리오관리가 기업 경쟁우위와 프로젝트의 기업전략 연계성에 미치는 영향 분석

기업은 외부 환경변화에 적절히 대처하기 위해 내부 기업전략을 세우고 되고, 전략의 구체적 실현 방법으로서 프로젝트관리를 사용하게 되는데, 이는 프로젝트관리가 불확실한 상황에 대처가 용이하고 신축성과 유연성을 요구하는 기업 환경에 부합하는 특성을 지니고 있기 때문이다. 기업에서 프로젝트관리의 활발한 사용은 프로젝트의 기업전략 연계성 확보를 필요로 하게 되고, 이를 위해 등장한 것이 프로젝트 포트폴리오관리이다. 본 연구는 프로젝트 포트폴리오관리가 프로젝트의 기업전략 연계성을 확보할 수 있는지와 함께 기업 경쟁우위를 가져올 수 있는지의 여부를 실증적으로 증명해 보고자 하였으며, 이를 실증분석을 통해 프로젝트 포트폴리오관리의 수행이 프로젝트의 기업전략 연계성 증가 및 차별화우위(기업 경쟁우위)를 가져오게 됨을 증명하였다. 따라서 본 연구는 프로젝트 수행 기업들이 프로젝트 포트폴리오관리를 통해 프로젝트의 기업전략 연계성을 확보하고, 시장에서의 차별화우위(기업 경쟁우위)를 획득하여 변화무쌍한 외부환경의 변화를 선도하는 기업이 될 수 있음을 제시하는데 그 의미를 가지고 있다. The company establishes an internal corporate strategy to cope with changes in the external environment and uses project management as a concrete realization method of strategy. Project management is easy to cope with uncertain situations, and has characteristics that match the business environment that demands flexibility. The active use of project management in the enterprise requires securing the project s strategic connectivity, so project portfolio management is necessary to deal with this situation. This study demonstrates empirically whether the project s strategic connectivity and the enterprise competitive advantage can be secured through the project portfolio management. The results show that the performance of project portfolio management leads to the increase of differentiation advantage(competitive advantage) and the project s strategic connectivity through the empirical analysis. Therefore, this study shows that the project execution companies can secure the linkage of the project to the corporate strategy and the differentiation advantage(competitive advantage) through the project portfolio management, and that they can effectively cope with changes in the external environment.

동적역량이론을 이용한 프로젝트 포트폴리오 관리와 기업 경쟁우위와의 영향관계 분석: 방위산업을 중심으로

A business firm needs to respond and adapt to the changing business environment in order to achieve and sustain the competitive advantages in the fast changing and very competitive market of today. Business strategy is an important discipline that provides the guidelines on how to deal with the changing business environment and to develop competitive advantages. The theory development and discussion in the business strategy discipline shows a trend change from External Environment Analysis theory by Michael Porter in the 1980s, Resource Based View in the 1990s, and to the Dynamic Capability theory in the late 1990s. Another effort by business firms to cope with the changing business environment may be the development and application of project management theories such as Project Portfolio Management. The objective of this study is to investigate the effects of Project Portfolio Management in the context of the Dynamic Capability theory on creating the competitive advantages for business firms. This study used the PPP framework by Teece(1997), which is a representative analysis framework in the Dynamic Capability theory. Data was collected from the companies in the defense industry of Korea, and used for empirical tests. The results show that Project Portfolio Management provides substantial and significant helps for the business firms in creating competitive advantages. The study results may encourage the reluctant companies to adopt Project Portfolio Management with more confidence. 기업은 빠르게 변해가는 경영환경에 적절히 대응하고 그 변화를 주도할 수 있어야 시장에서 경쟁우위를 확보하고 지속 성장할 수 있다. 이를 위한 기업 전략의 주요 흐름들은 1980년대 외부환 경분석 이론, 1990년대 자원기반 이론을 거쳐 1990년대 말 동적역량 이론의 탄생으로 이어지고 있다. 한편, 경영환경 변화에 대응하는 기업의 또 다른 노력으로 프로젝트 관리(PM)와 프로젝트 포트폴리오 관리를 들 수 있는데, 본 연구는 방위산업 기업들을 대상으로 동적역량 이론을 이용하여 프로젝트 포트폴리오 관리의 도입이 기업에 경쟁우위를 효과적으로 가져다 줄 수 있는지 여부를 조사하는 목적을 가지고 있다. 본 연구는 동적역량이론의 대표적인 분석 틀인 Teece(1997)의 PPP framework를 활용하여 동적역량을 프로젝트 포트폴리오 관리로 가정하고, 연구 설계 및 실증분석을 수행하였다. 본 연구는 실증분석을 통해 기업이 프로젝트 포트폴리오 관리를 도입하면 자원과 프로젝트를 더 효율적으로 활용할 수 있게 되어 기업 경쟁우위를 강화할 수 있음을 증명 하였다. 따라서 본 연구는 프로젝트 포트폴리오 관리의 도입이 필요하다는 사실을 잘 알지 못하는 기업들과 프로젝트 포트폴리오 관리의 도입을 결단하지 못하는 기업들에게 프로젝트 포트폴리오 관리 도입의 당위성을 제시하고 있다.

인천국제공항 여객터미널의 고조파분석에 의한 저감대책 강구

본 논문에서는 측정${\cdot}$분석을 수행한 인천국제공항 여객터미널의 전력계통에 고조파 저감을 위한 고조파필터를 설계하여 이를 적용하였다. 특히 고조파를 다량 발생시키는 기기들에 대하여 향후 대표스펙트럼 선정을 위하여 고조파 측정을 수행하였다. 또한 EDSA를 사용하여 Simulation을 수행하여 수동필터의 고조파 저감효과를 분석하였으며, 또한 APF(Active Power Filter)와 ZSF(Zero Sequence Filter)의 설계를 수행하였다. In this paper, we perform the harmonic filter design for Incheon international airport, especially passenger terminal based on the results of measurement and analysis. Also, we show the waveform of machines which produce harmonics as a harmonic source. For harmonic filter design, we propose the APF(Active Power Filter) and ZSF(Zero Sequence Filter) design. Also, we simulate the filter effects using EDSA package. The results show the effectiveness of the method.

프로젝트 관리 전문조직(PMO)과 프로젝트 포트폴리오 성공과의 관계:

오늘날 기업 환경은 더 동태적이고 복잡해졌으며, 기업 내 병행 프로젝트의 수는 계속 증가하고 있다. 이에 기업은 여러 개의 프로젝트를 관리해야 하는 어려움에 직면하였고 관리의 복잡성과 불확실성은 더욱 높아졌다. 본 연구는 프로젝트 포 트폴리오 내 프로젝트가 성공할 수 있도록 하는 전략적 도구의 역할로 프로젝트 관리 전문조직(PMO)을 제안한다. 문헌 연구를 통해 PMO의 기능, 프로젝트 포트폴리오 성공, 프로젝트 포트폴리오 관리(PPM) 품질, 경영진 지원의 개념과 차 원을 검토하고 그 관계를 규명하였다. 분석에는 PMO 또는 사업관리부서가 있는 국내 기업의 종사자를 대상으로 설문 조 사한 데이터를 사용하였으며, PMO와 프로젝트 포트폴리오 성공과의 관계를 파악하고 이러한 관계에서 경영진 지원의 조 절효과와 프로젝트 포트폴리오 관리(PPM) 품질의 매개효과를 파악하였다. 그 결과, 첫째, PMO의 기능은 프로젝트 포 트폴리오 성공에 긍정적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 프로젝트 포트폴리오 관리(PPM) 품질은 프로젝트 포트 폴리오 성공에 긍정적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, PMO의 기능과 프로젝트 포트폴리오 성공과의 관계에 경영 진 지원의 조절효과는 없으며, 마지막으로 프로젝트 포트폴리오 관리(PPM) 품질은 PMO의 기능과 프로젝트 포트폴리오 성공에 매개역할을 하는 것을 실증하였다. 본 연구를 통해 프로젝트 포트폴리오 성공을 위한 프로젝트 관리 전문조직 (PMO)의 필요성을 제기하고, 기업의 경쟁력 제고와 사업관리 능력 향상을 위해 프로젝트 포트폴리오 관리(PPM) 프로 세스 품질 향상에 노력하여야 한다는 방향성을 제시하고자 한다. Study explores the relationship between project management office (PMO) and project portfolio success in order to examine the mediation effect of project portfolio management(PPM) quality and the moderation effect of top management support in this relationship. We used a sample of 219 observations for empirical study, and the results of the analysis are as follows. First, the PMO functions have significant positive effects on project portfolio success. Second, the project portfolio management quality has significant positive effects on project portfolio success. Third, top management support does not have a moderating effect. Finally, the project portfolio management quality has a mediating effect. With respect to the practical implication of this study, we propose the introduction of a PMO to improve project management performance and project portfolio success.
