When researchers plan R&D projects, they usually use patent map or paper map for the objective decision-making, but in traditional korean medicine field, domestic patents and papers have been mainly proposed as results of many R&D projects, while most of patent or paper map tools support international patents and SCI papers, respectively. Therefore, as an alternative one KIOM constructed the project map which can provide the technology landscape for R&D project information in traditional korean medicine field. But the functions of the system is limited to the search and analysis with chart. So sophisticated analysis results are hard to get from the existing system. This research‘s goal is to upgrade the web based project map analysis system to provide researcher rich functionality and advanced analysis tools.

We surveyed attendee at TKM Information Common Application Committee who are the chairman of TKM journals, the dean of oriental medicine colleges and the head of oriental medicine institutes. We analyzed the survey results to activate OASIS and to more utilize OASIS in TKM research. From the analysis, the experts predict that TKM literature information and combined search connected to internal/external TM database are most applicable to OASIS. If the contents and functions are provided in OASIS, experts said that they will use more 2.2 times than now. We drew the future plan of OASIS from the 2 survey analysis which are conducted by OASIS users and TKM experts. It is made up 6 kinds of strategies such as core business model, data, meta-data and etc. Because this study has surveyed the TKM authoritative experts for the future plan of OASIS, it is significant study to get objective indices.

Traditional Korean Medicine Information Portal OASIS has been upgraded continuously from the beginning of it's service. It builds up more contents and adds more functions to provide rich information for TKM's researcher. But it's improvement strategy is not systematic and not supported from objective data. So we did online survey and analyzed the results to get insight for improving and activating the OASIS. Also we compared the survey with the previous one conducted in 2009. From the analysis of survey, we can get the 4 results. First OASIS have aged users than young users. Second 39.0% users are using OASIS 2-3 times in a month. Third 18.8% users want OASIS to provide the conference paper in TKM. Finally 21.7% users want paper map analysis system. We must do information strategy planning to get the insight for the improvement. And this survey analysis result will be most important material to our planning. Also we will use this survey analysis result to satisfy the users' needs.
특허맵 시스템을 응용한 한의약 논문맵 시스템 서비스 시나리오 개발

과학기술 연구동향을 분석하여 연구개발의 방향 설정 및 연구사업 기획에 이용할 수 있는 유용한 정보를 생성하기 위해서 연구자와 연구 기획자는 특허맵과 논문맵 분석방법을 이용한다. 이러한 방법들은 시스템으로 구현되어 사용자들이 편리하게 이용하고 있으나 한의학계의 특수성으로 인해서 기존의 시스템을 이용할 수 없어 연구동향을 파악할 수 있는 객관적인 정보를 생성하는데 많은 시간을 할애하고 있다. 한국한의학연구원에서는 국내 최대의 한의약 관련 논문 데이터베이스인 오아시스를 운영하고 있으며, 본 논문에서는 오아시스 데이터베이스 정보를 활용하여 한의학계의 요구를 해결하기 위한 논문맵 분석시스템 구축을 위해서 기존의 특허맵 시스템과 논문맵 시스템 분석을 통해서 서비스 시나리오를 도출하였으며, 기존에 발간된 연구동향 보고서를 분석하여 논문맵 시스템에서 지원되어야 하는 분석기능과 분석도구에 대해서 도출하였다. 마지막으로 개발된 서비스 시나리오를 구현할 수 있는 플렉스 기반의 논문맵 시스템 구조를 제시하였다.

Computerization is recognized as simple supporting tools up to recently but Information is made for the improvement of company's outcome beyond the assistant tools and is emerged as core tools of creating new opportunities for company in point of management strategy. But Information plays minor role in Korean Institute of Oriental Medicine(KIOM) yet. Information has not processed systematically because of lack of understanding and budget in KIOM. The purpose of this research is to make plan for knowledge information which is aimed to make effective supporting and strengthening the ability of KIOM's research, until 2013. Also we tried to find new projects for information and to apply the result to planned information projects. The final goal of this study is to make mid/long-term information plan of KIOM. We applied the general information strategy planning(ISP) method which is progressed as analysis of information technology, analysis of information status, design of future model and extraction of action plan order. First, we examined the information elements for the advanced management from analysis of management environment and analyzed information technology trends. Second, we list up the gaps and problems of KIOM's information status and define the future model to solve this problems. It is showed the road map of time and budget for future model to progress systematically inner-information of purpose. We hope that information of KIOM will be conducted successfully.

선행 연구 분석이나 중복 연구 수행을 방지하기 위하여 이미 수행된 연구 과제(프로젝트)에 대한 분석이 필수적이다. 본 연구에서는 전통의학 분야 연구의 중복 수행을 방지하고 체계적인 연구를 수행할 수 있도록 하기 위해 한의학 분야 프로젝트 분석 시스템을 구축하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 수집 및 분류된 프로젝트 데이터를 분석하는 시스템 구축의 일환으로 프로젝트 데이터를 효율적으로 분석하기 위한 통계 및 분석 모듈 개발과 모듈 단위의 분석 결과에 대하여 설명한다.

We in this paper propose a semantic search system using the basic ontology in Korean medicine field. The basic ontology provides a formalization of medicinal materials, formulas, and diseases of Korean medicine. Recently, many studies for the semantic search system have been proposed. However, they do not support the semantic search and reasoning in the domain of Korean medicine because they do not have the Korean medicine ontology. Our system provides the semantic search features of semantic keyword recommendation, associated information browsing, and ontology reasoning based on the basic ontology. In addition, they also have the features of ontology search of a form of table and graph, synonym search, and external Open API supports. The general search engines usually provide search results for the simple keyword, while our system can also provide the associated information with respect to search results by using ontology so that can recommend more exact results to users.

In this paper, we designed and implemented an integrated search and collaboration system. Users can search the traditional korean medicine knowledge in our system, which consists of medicinal materials, formulas, diseases, terminology, and clinical information. In general, the existing information systems providing the korean medicine knowledge do not provide the update function. Thus, it can be a problem if there are incomplete information. In order to solve this problem, our system implements the functions that users can work together to improve the knowledge. Therefore, wrong information can be updated easily so that flexible management about the korean medicine information is possible.

In this paper, we designed and implemented a semantic social network system in Korea Institute of Oriental Medicine (abbreviated as KIOM). Our social network system provides the capabilities such as tracking search, ontology reasoning, ontology graph view, and personal information input, update and management. Tracking search provides the search results by the research information of relevant researchers using ontology, in addition to those by keywords. Ontology reasoning provides the reasoning for experts, mentors, and personal contacts. Users can easily browse the personal connections among researchers by traversing the ontology by graph viewer. These allows KIOM researchers to search other researchers who could aid the researches and to easily share their research information.
