        CsH₂PO₄ 단결정 내의 <SUP>31</SUP>P 원자핵에 대한 핵 자기 공명 연구

        Nuclear magnetic resonance of <SUP>31</SUP>P nuclei in CsH₂PO₄ single crystal has been investigated using by FT-NMR spectrometer in the temperature range 260 K~420 K. From the analysis of NMR spectra of <SUP>31</SUP>P nuclei in CsH₂PO₄ single crystal, line width, relaxation time, correlation time were obtained. Chemical shift of <SUP>31</SUP>P nucleus NMR spectra obtained decreases with increasing temperature. The line width (full width half maximum: FWHM) of <SUP>31</SUP>P nucleus increases below 320 K and decreases above 320 K. The spin-lattice relaxation time T₁ of <SUP>31</SUP>P nuclei linearly decreases below 340 K and linearly increases above 340 K as temperature increases. The mechanism of T₁ for <SUP>31</SUP>P may originate from the orientation of PO₄ tetrahedron as well as dipole-dipole interaction between H-P heteronuclear interactions. The activation energies of 31P nucleus obtained in CsH₂PO₄ crystal below and above 340 K are E<SUB>a</SUB>= 8.12 J/mol and E<SUB>a</SUB> = 16.79 J/mol, respectively.

        LiTaO₃ 및 LiNbO₃ 단결정 내의 상자성 불순물에 관한 전자 자기공명 연구

        Electron magnetic resonance (EMR) of paramagnetic Cr³+, Mn²+, and Fe³+ impurity ions in ferroelectric LiNbO₃ and LiTaO₃ single crystals has been studied. The actual sites location of paramagnetic impurity ions in the crystals was suggested from the experimental results and zero field splitting parameters calculated by superposition model. It turns out that Cr³+ ions in LiNbO₃ crystal have two resonance centers and enter both the Li+ and Nb^(5+) ions. Mn²+ and Fe³+ impurity ions in LiNbO₃ substitute for Nb^(5+) ions. However, both Cr³+ and Fe³+ ions in LiTaO₃ crystal reside at Li+ ions.

        PbWO₄: Gd 단결정 내의 Gd<SUP>3+</SUP> 상자성 이온에 대한 바닥 상태 에너지

        Ground state energy levels of Gd<SUP>3+</SUP> ion (effective spin S = 7/2) in PbWO₄ single crystal doped with Gd<SUP>3+ </SUP>paramagnetic impurity at tetragonal symmetry are calculated with spectroscopic splitting parameters and zero field splitting parameters using by effective spin Hamiltonian. It turns out that the zero field splitting energies of Gd<SUP>3+</SUP> ion were the same regardless of the directions of PbWO₄: Gd single crystal. The calculated energy differences for |± 7/2>↔|± 5/2>, |± 5/2>↔|± 3/2>, and |± 3/2>↔|± 1/2> transitions were 6.9574 GHz, 6.9219 GHz, and 15.8704 GHz, respectively when the applied magnetic field is zero. The calculated energy level diagrams were different for different directions of applied magnetic field. For B // a- and c-axis, the energy level diagrams are calculated and discussed.

        LiTaO₃ 단결정 내의 Fe<SUP>3+</SUP> 상자성 불순물 이온에 대한 에너지 준위 계산

        Ground state energy levels of the Fe<SUP>3+</SUP> paramagnetic impurity ion in stoichiometric LiTaO₃ and in congruent LiTaO₃ single crystals were calculated with electron paramagnetic resonance constants. Energy levels between six energy levels were obtained with spectroscopic splitting parameter g and zero field splitting constant D for Fe<SUP>3+</SUP> ion. The energy diagrams of Fe<SUP>3+</SUP> ion were different from different magnetic field directions ([100], [001], [111]) when magnetic field increases. The calculated ZFS energies of Fe<SUP>3+</SUP> ion in stoichiometric and congruent LiTaO₃ single crystals for |± 5/2>↔|± 3/2> and |± 3/2>↔|± 1/2> transitions were 12.300 GHz and 6.150 GHz, and 59.358 GHz and 29.679 GHz, respectively. It turns out that energy levels of Fe<SUP>3+</SUP> paramagnetic impurity in LiTaO₃ crystal are different from different crystal growing condition.

        NaMgCl₃ 단결정 내의 <SUP>23</SUP>Na 원자핵에 대한 핵 자기 공명 연구

        We have investigated nuclear magnetic resonance of <SUP>23</SUP>Na nucleus in NaMgCl₃ single crystal in the temperature range 200 K~410 K using FT-NMR spectrometer. The spin-lattice relaxation times T₁ of <SUP>23</SUP>Na nucleus residing at cubic symmetry in the host crystal was measured as a function of temperature. The T₁ of <SUP>23</SUP>Na nucleus decreased with increasing temperature. The nuclear spin-lattice relaxation rate 1/T₁ of <SUP>23</SUP>Na in NaMgCl₃ single crystal was proportional to the temperature T. This behavior is explained with the characteristic feature of the direct process between the nuclear spins and single phonon, 1/T₁ being proportional to the absolute temperature. The activation energy calculated was E<SUB>a</SUB>= 4.82 J/mol.

        한국판 대처 전략 질문지 (K-CSQ)를 이용한 만성 통증 환자의 통증대처 특성

        만성 통증 환자들은 통증에 대한 대처 방식이 각자 다르고 이에 따라 적응 상의 차이를 나타낸다. 한국판 대처 전략 질문지 (Korean version-Coping Strategy Questionaire : K-CSQ)로 만성 통증 환자의 통증 대처방식의 특징을 파악하고, 이 검사의 신뢰도를 검증하였다. 방법: 대상자는 만성 통증 환자군 128명과 정상 대조군 252명으로 하였다. 만성 통증 환자군에서의 임상적인 특성을 조사하였고, 양군에서 통증대처전략의 특성을 비교하였으며, K-CSQ의 각 항목의 내적 일치도 (Cronbach ${\alpha}$)를 산출하였고, 검사-재검사 신뢰도를 구하였다. 결과: 각 항목의 내적 일치도는 주의분산, 통증감각의 재해석, 통증감각의 무시, 기도 또는 바램, 재앙적 사고 등의 요인이 0.7 이상을 나타내어 일치도가 높았으며, 검사-재검사 신뢰도는 모두 0.66이상을 나타내서 신뢰도가 높은 검사임을 나타냈다. 대처 전략은 정상대조군보다 만성 통증 환자에서 자기진술 대처를 더 많이 사용하였고, 기도 또는 바램, 재앙적 사고, 통증행동의 증가 등이 만성 통증 환자군에서 의미있게 높은 수치를 나타냈다. 결론: K-CSQ는 만성통증환자에서 통증대처특성을 이해하는데 유용한 검사도구이다. 그리고, 만성 통증 환자에 대한 인지-행동적 개입을 통하여, 자기 진술 대처와 주의 돌려기, 통증 감각 무시 전략 등을 증가시키고, 재앙적 사고를 감소시켜 환자의 적응적 행동을 도우며, K-CSQ를 이용하여 치료적 개업에 따른 적응 기능의 향상을 확인하는데 이용할 수 있을 것이다. Objectives : Numbers of patients who have chronic pain seem to be increasing in the psychiatric practice. Many investigators have used models of stress and coping to help explain the differences in adjustment found among persons who experience chronic pain. Coping strategies appear to be associated with adjustment in chronic pain patients. The objectives of this study were to develop a self-report questionnaire which is the most widely used measures of pain coping strategies, Coping Strategies Questionnaire (CSQ) into Korean version and to study the different coping strategies with which chronic pain patients frequently use when their pain reaches a moderate or greater level of intensity. Methods : One hundred twenty-eight individuals with chronic pain conditions and two hundred fifty-two normal controls were administered the Korean version-Coping Strategies Questionnaire(KCSQ) to assess the frequency of use and perceived effectiveness of a variety of cognitive and behavioral pain coping strategies. We also obtained their clinical features in chronic pain patients. Reliability of the questionnaire were analyzed and evaluated differences of coping strategies between two groups. Results : Data analysis revealed that the questionnaire was internally reliable. Chronic pain patients reported frequent use of a variety of pain coping strategies, such as coping self-statements, praying and hoping, catastrophizing, and increase behavior scales which were higher compared to the normal controls. Conclusion: K-CSQ revealed to be a reliable self-report questionnaire which is useful for the assessment of coping strategies in clinical setting on chronic pain. And analysis of pain coping strategies may be helpful in understanding pain for chronic pain patients. The individual K-CSQ may have greater utility in terms of examining coping, appraisals, and pain adjustment. A consideration of pain coping strategies may allow one to design pain coping skills training interventions so as to fit the individual chronic pain patient. Further research is needed to determine whether cognitive-behavioral intervention designed to decrease maladaptive coping strategies can reduce pain and improve the physical and psycho-social functioning of chronic patients.

        LPE법으로 제조한 YIG 박막에 대한 강자성공명 연구

        The ferromagnetic resonance study of the magnetostatic wave modes for an YIG thin film, grown by a liquid phase epitaxy method, was performed by an FMR spectrometer at room temperature. The magnetostatic surface wave and backward volume wave modes show periodic excitations in parallel configuration, whereas the complex spectra were observed in perpendicular configuration. The resonance spectra in parallel configuration can be well explained by the Walker and Damon-Eshbach theory. The peak-peak line width of uniform mode was 0.4 Oe. The saturation magnetization Ms of the YIG thin film was calculated as 137 emu/㎤. In order to know the dependence of the magnetostatic modes as a function of the saturation magnetization and the thickness, the (1,1) and (3,1) modes of the magnetostatic backward volume wave were compared and theoretically calculated.

        Energy levels of S = 5/2 spin system in monoclinic symmetry single crystal are calculated using the effective spin Hamiltonian. Energy levels depend on the spin system, the local site symmetry and the values of the electron paramagnetic resonance parameters. The monoclinic spin Hamiltonian is used to calculate the energy levels as a function of crystallographic axes. These angular dependences of energy levels are very useful to analyze the magnetic impurity ions and get microscopic informations about the single crystals.

      • 삼사정계 대칭성에 위치한 전자 스핀 3/2계에 대한 에너지 준위 계산

        Energy levels of electron magnetic resonance (EMR) for S = 3/2 system are calculated using the effective spin Hamiltonian in triclinic symmetry. Their energy levels depend on the local site symmetry as well as the values of the EMR parameters. The triclinic spin Hamiltonian is used to calculate the energy leves as a function of crystallocraphic direction. These angular dependences of energy levels are very useful to analyze the paramagnetic impurity ions and get microscopic informations about the single crystals by using EMR technique.

      • Bi₂Te₃단결정 시료의 전기 비저항 측정

        The electric resistively of the Bi₂Te₃:Er^(3+) single crystal, grown by Czochraski method, has been studied at boom temperature. The resistively was obtained by using the Van deb Paul method. The measured bulk electrical resistivities of non-treated and thermal-treated Bi₂Te₃:Er^(3+) single crystals are 1.48 mΩcm and. 1.37 mΩcm, respectively. The information of electric besistivity and conductivity fob the Bi₂Te₃:Er^(3+) is helpful to understand the application of the material as a cryogenic particle detectors for high resolutions and wow threshold.
