This study was performed to investigate the effects of Paecilonnces japonica (P. japonica) on lipid metabolism, lipid peroxidation and antioxidative capacity in rats. Twenty one male Spragye-Dawley rats weighting 150g were grouped into three according to body weight. Rats were raised for seven weeks with High fat diet (CON) or 4% of dried mycelium (HM) and swimming exercise (HMS). Weight gain of all groups were significantly different from those of control group. HM were increased and HMS were decreased. Lipid metabolism in genreal was significantly improved in HMS group but HM group were not different from control group. However HM group showed tendency of lower cholesterol level silightly and higher plasma HDL-cholesterol level than control group. Malndialdehyde (MDA) concentrations in liver and gastrocnemius were sigmificantly reduced of all form control group. Superoxide dismutase (SOD) activities were not different of HM group from control. But HMS group were significantly increased. In conclusion. swimming exercise tranining improved lipid metabolism and P. japonica might have potnetial role of improving lipid peroxidation and antioxidant enzyme activities in rats.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of the emotional labor on job burnout and turnover intention for women caddies. A total of 182 questionnaires were distributed to women caddies. The collected data were analyzed by descriptive statistics, correlation analysis, mutiple regression analysis using SPSS 18.0. The following conclusions were drawn: First, there were corelation among emotional labor, job burnout and turnover intention in women caddies. Second, emotional labor of women caddies had an effect on job burnout. Third, job burnout of women caddies had an effect on turnover intention. Fourth, The emotional labor of golf caddies had an effect on turnover intention. In conclusion, as the result of this study, it is expected that the elimination of turnover factor resulted from the emotional labor of caddies not getting over the difference of the internal, external emotion actually and keeping job efficiently. And this study is a result of great significance in investigating the relationship between job burnout caused by the emotional labor of caddies and turnover intention.

To evaluate the effects of hydroxy citric acid supplementation and swimming on body fat and lipid metabolism, we treated hydroxycitric acid supplementation (HF+HCA), exercise (HF+EX), or exercise plus hydroxy citric acid supplementation (HF+EX+HCA) in 8 weeks high-fat (HF) fed Sprague-Dawley male rats. The body weight and body fat mass were significantly decreased in both HF+HCA and HF+EX compared with HF rats despite that the food intake was not differed among the experimental groups. The decreasing effect of body weight by HCA was revealed after the day 32, which means that HCA has to be treated for relatively long time for weight reduction. Moreover, both HCA supplementation and EX reduced the plasma levels of glucose, triglycerides, and total cholesterol in HF fed rats. However, the carnitine palmitoyl transferase (CPT) 1 activity, a rate limiting enzyme in fat oxidation, was increased only in HF+EX rats. In summary, both hydroxy citric acid supplementation and exercise revealed anti-obesiry effects and their effects were additive. These results suggested that combination of bydroxy citric acid supplementation and exercise can be used as a modality of obesity treatment.
